During the month of Ramadan, it's a great opportunity to learn and see the antiques of the Islamic era in Egypt. 🌙One of the most famous of these monuments is the citadel of Salah al-Din and the mosque of Muhammad Ali Pacsha inside the Citadel, which overlooks Cairo and shows its grandeur in front of visitors. 🏰 The Citadel dates back to the era of Nasser Salah al-Deeb Ayyubi, which he set up to be the line of defense of Egypt, which he established on the l Mount Mokattam in Fatimid Cairo. The Citadel was the seat of the rule of Egypt continued until the era of Khedive Ismail, who transferred Egypt's cultural shift and planned the heart of Cairo, like Pari, so he established a palace in Aabdin and took it as a seat to rule Egypt. But his grandfather Mohamed Ali Pascha also established one of the world's most famous Mosque 🕌 , named after him. It is famous for its ottoman architectural as a masterpiece that highlights the greatness of his reign and his strength. The mosque is one of the most famous landmarks of Cairo. From the top of the Citadel you can see a Great view of the old capital, which still retains its ancient archaeological spirit. Beyond in the background you see traces of the modern capital and its buildings that rise in the sky to give you a view of the greatness of the past and the present together. The Citadel also contains a number of palaces, museums and the old prison.
