i would honestly say i write most genres! but i guess my genre would be introspective fanfiction, since i do love writing characters having their "off-screen" canon moments

🌿 who is your favorite character you've ever written?

my favorite to write has to be Akiren / Joker / the Persona 5 protagonist! he's a teen navigating the world, while also making sense of who he is since he was randomly picked by fate, he's such a good character since he's a blank slate, so he works with a ton of ideas i have!

coming in a close second is Maruki, also from Persona! more specifically, as a man who lost everything and is trying to recover and get a new start on his life, i absolutely love to write hurt/comfort with him

Staycation at Nordic Homes Tagaytay

Whenever I feel like going on a quick vacation away from the metro, Tagaytay has always been my first choice because it only takes a 2-hour drive from Manila to get there. I was scrolling through my facebook feed when I saw a post about Nordic Homes, an instagram-worthy place to stay in Tagaytay. They have 12 instagrammable rooms/units with different themes. The photos will really catch your attention because the interior design of the place is modern and very nice. Perfect for your instagram goals!

While browsing at the photos on their Facebook Page, I already imagined myself being there, enjoying the ambiance of the room, taking photos and asking my partner to take photos of me as well. I downloaded the Airbnb app right away to check the availability of the rooms so we can book for an overnight stay.

Nordic Homes is located at Cityland Prime Residences. It is very easy to find because of the big Cityland sign on the building itself. Some of the major tourist attractions in Tagaytay only takes a short ride from the property itself and the shopping malls as well.

We booked Nordic Grande. It is a 33.5 sqm studio unit that can accomodate up to 6 people (though we were only three). There are other rooms for smaller groups too.

Upon arriving at the property, we were surprised that there are a lot of guests at the lobby. People are lined up writing their names down on the logbook at front desk while some are waiting for their names to be called. We found out that Tagaytay Prime has other "themed" units aside from Nordic Homes. I guess the unit owners made it as their business since staycations are in nowadays.

Ms. Neri, one of the staff from Nordic Homes called my name and greeted us with all smiles. She's very nice and accommodating. She asked us to write our names on the front desk logbook. After writing our names, she led us to the elevator then guided us straight to our room located at the 16th floor.

When we entered the room, I was so thrilled because it looked exactly like what I saw from the photos online. The room is clean and it smells nice. You will definitely love the interior design of the room! There is also a welcome message with our names on the small blackboard inside the room.

Here are the features and amenities of Nordic Grande:

- Double sized bed and a queen sized sofa bed

- 42" smart tv with cable and free access to netflix

- PS4

- Free wifi internet connection (5 Mbps)

- Desk/workstation

- Board Games

- Kitchen Facilties and utensils

You will never run out of things to do during your stay. You can literally lay all day and binge-watch on your favorite series or do a movie marathon through Netflix. You can also play video games with PS4 or play their board games. How cool is that?!

And of course accomplish your instagram goals by doing a "photoshoot" inside the room with the cool interior as your background. Lol! A lot of people actually asked me where the place is after I posted some photos online.

If you feel like taking a dip, there is also a pool located near the front desk area.

There are nearby establishments around the building where you can buy food if you don’t feel like cooking. It's very convenient. Food is life, you know! Lol. There is a cafe right outside the building called Caffe Nativo. There is also a 7/11 store just a few steps away from the cafe. There is also McDonalds right across the street. Plus Dreamland Arts and Crafts Cafe which is famous for its hippie theme and dreamcatchers is also nearby.

We had a great time during our stay and we would absolutely go back here some other time to try their other rooms because I really find it cute.

so... Maruki scars?

hear me out

takuto maruki has scars because of the whole merging with azathoth to become adam kadmon, more specifically both a neck scar and a hand scar (because of the whole staff thing)

the neck scar is obvious- but the hand scar is something i think would happen since maruki needs a direct connection to azathoth to do stuff (maybe like, in using actualization, he has an invisible tentacle somewhere wrapped on his body, adding more scars for every actualization he did; in real life, it isn’t visible, but in the metaverse, its visible type deal)

but also hear me out (more detailed descriptions below the cut)

the scar tissue would still hurt even it being cared for or appearing fully healed, like gentle movements make it ache- maybe there are more scars along maruki’s back because of reasons that are a combination of the neck and hand scars; he’s using actualization on so many people, and he needs a lot of power from azathoth to do it, but he can’t let people know that he’s using actualization

there’s criss-crossing lines, evidence of torn flesh and maybe even burns from intense persona usage, layer upon layer of scar tissue built up-

maybe maruki’s scars could last a few weeks, maybe years at best considering how many people he used actualization on, but the constant is that scars don’t heal as quicky as he thought, maybe he’s still suffering because he knows the scars are a testament to his connection with azathoth, for better and for worse

head empty, thinking about Akira, Maruki, and Akechi

like what if Akechi and Akira had a more sour relationship, like Rank 4 was a more rougher battle and both of them do have intent to kill because of how much they hate each other

like what if Maruki visited Akechi mid-investigation before Jan 9th, tried to coax Akechi to understand his side but the teen was clearly not buying it, and it just told Maruki to go away and leave him be

like Akira after Nov 20, the night before Feb 3rd, just wanting to be alone because he’s deeply in pain and doesn’t want to let anyone else know

like maybe Akira seeks out Akechi on evening Feb 2nd and they both get into an argument because Akira has deep conflicting feelings about what to do, and Akechi wants Akira to stop thinking about others and think for himself for once

like Maruki post-Feb 3rd falling off the face of the earth for a few weeks, cleaning out his room and getting rid off everything cognitive pscience related because he’s so tired of it, a change of heart that has him actively getting rid of what made him so distorted in the first place... or has him taking the first few steps of finally moving on from Rumi after months and months of doing his research without taking care of himself

bathing underneath the moon

From underneath the blanket, he grasped Zenkichi's hand tighter; Love was always a tragic thing, for everyone, always. He was no exception, and neither was his newfound partner. “I promise I'll try my best to deserve you.” Takuto whispered, looking up to face Zenkichi. Seeing the other man’s smile, allowed him to finally make one of his own. Zenkichi made a small nod, pressing his forehead against Takuto's before planting a tender kiss. “You’re the first person who’s vulnerable enough to make me impossibly weak, Maru—I’ll be damned if I don’t do the same for you.” Zenkichi’s smile widened as he pulled away, commanding Takuto’s heart with a twitch of his lips. He lifted his hand to grasp his hand, as the cold on their fingertips waned.

in a quiet ramen shop

Takuto knew the other man in front of him had no fault in coming at the night he decided to sort his thoughts somewhere other than his room; It was merely his, for he needed to unlearn the path of probable one-way love. Barely a month or two—At least that’s what he had counted—had passed since he was freed from his distorted desires. And he could never have guessed he would fall for this gentle, kind soul. Yet, he knew he couldn’t let himself fall into that cycle again. He grew terrified of that process, of falling in love, taking away everything of himself until he had nothing else once more. He still believed he was still at fault for two deaths, and he continued to pry himself away from making it three. His past lover’s family’s blood on his hands… an image that proved no intention of wavering in his head.

Everything seemed like he was back in the interrogation room, a nightmare he frequently experienced as of late. His hand separated from the curtain, and moved to the side of his head. His fingers running through his unkempt hair. It’s been days since he got back in his bedroom, but nothing about it felt like home. The bed, the television, the plant, the laptop, the desk, and the box where his belongings stayed. Everything was there, yet nothing was familiar to him. His bedroom became no different than a jail cell.

so i had another dream about Maruki again

so in the dream, i was watching Maruki and Rumi watch cars go by in a park. they both have suitcases, like they were traveling or going vacationing somewhere. i kinda heard them talking about people living their lives, the surroundings since i think it was summer? just deep talks out in the open

Rumi went to buy some ice cream and Maruki was admiring her from afar, and then after she comes back without an ice cream (there might have been a flavor she wanted but it wasnt there), Maruki hugs her

the background then vaguely resembled a home or an apartment i think, and after settling down, Maruki told Rumi to stand by the window cause it was sunset and he busted out a watercolor palette and a watercolor sketchbook. he was painting her before i woke up

things ive now made into headcanons from this dream: ↳ Maruki loves having deep talks with people; Rumi, Akira, basically anyone if he’s feeling like it and would definitely bounce around with many ideas and thoughts until he either loses his voice, or his brain suddenly stops his trains of thought ↳ Maruki paints, particularly watercolor since its the right amount of control and chaos for him to do a lot of experimenting with; he also loves that with watercoloring, he can focus on the lightest details then layer it to create layers and deeper details. like a glorified allegory for himself. and he doesnt take lessons, and self-teaches himself since its the sort of freedom he loves
