Today In History Cabell “Cab” Calloway, accomplished bandleader, singer, dancer, songwriter, and author, was born in Rochester, NY, on this date December 25, 1907. He learned the art of scat singing before landing a regular gig at Harlem's famous Cotton Club. Following the enormous success of his song "Minnie the Moocher" (1931), Calloway became one of the most popular entertainers of the 1930s and '40s. With other hits that included "Moon Glow" (1934), "The Jumpin' Jive" (1939) and "Blues in the Night" (1941), as well as appearances on radio, Calloway was one of the most successful performers of the era. He appeared in such films as The Big Broadcast (1932), The Singing Kid (1936) and Stormy Weather (1943). In addition to music, Calloway influenced the public with books such as 1944's The New Cab Calloway's Hepster's Dictionary: Language of Jive, which offered definitions for terms like "in the groove" and "zoot suit." Calloway and his orchestra had successful tours in Canada, Europe and across the United States, traveling in private train cars when they visited the South in order to escape some of the hardships of segregation. With his enticing voice, energetic onstage moves and dapper white tuxedos, Calloway was the star attraction. The standout musicians Calloway performed with include saxophonist Chu Berry, trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie and drummer Cozy Cole. The main star and head of the Showtime Animatronic Crew and modeled after the famous Jazz and Blues singer Cab Calloway, Jimmy Turtle dazzles audiences with his charisma along with his excellent singing and dancing skills with his own personal orchestra to join him in his many performances. 

Jimmy's personality to no one surprise is all about style and flash if a bit a little too wrapped up with his fame and popularity among the guests due to his advanced AI system. He also provides needed morale and support to his fellow showtime Animatronics. So all in all he's basically the ideal animatronic to have on stage that can even be among the ranks of Freddy Fazebear himself.

However lately Jimmy began to have odd personality changes mostly at night. While the songs he sings are normally upbeat and cheerful, some of the recent songs he's been singing have been somehow macabre at best, and sinister at worst. What doesn't help is that some of the expressions he has somehow began to have a creepy aura to them. 

Bear in mind that all of that had been taken place when the guests are around during the day and night. So one can only imagine if when everyone's gone and the theatre closed for the night how much more creepy Jimmy can get when he doesn't have to worry about keeping down whatever nasty urges he kept to himself.

Especially if one also imagines the poor unlucky soul who has to make sure the theatre's nice and guarded without being a potential victim to what Jimmy has planned for them.
