On episode 188 of Toon Talk Weekly, Jake and Brad head back to the 80s to fight some future crime when they watch an episode of the animated series “C.O.P.S."
C.O.P.S. is a 1988 animated series released by DIC Entertainment and ran until 1989. The series boasts “fighting crime in a future time” and the title C.O.P.S. is an acronym meaning Central Organization of Police Specialists.”
In the series, the members of C.O.P.S. all have different abilities to help them protect Empire City from Big Boss and his gang of crooks. The show was based on Hasbro’s 1988 line of action figures called C.O.P.S. ‘N’ Crooks.
