It seems that your chancellor regalia has been completely drenched in daedric ichors and imbued leftover necrotic energy. You might want to burn it, it is actually not good for your health to have prolonged skin contact with such material. I’ve done extensive testing on this exact matter.

What do you think of the reconstituted Five Companions?
Considering the Vestige’s propensity for lucking their way out of trouble, Titanborn’s desire to muscle and punch her way through most obstacles, Sai’s tendencies towards self-flagellation, and… whatever it is that Varen was bringing to the organization when he was an old man speaking in ominous riddles, I do not envy Tharn as the holder of the group’s only remaining coherent thought. I may have been on the opposite side of that entire mess, and it may have cost me one of my lives, but considering how many migraines I was spared by being so, I cannot say I fully regret it.

Wait, what did you do with Lord Tharn? Did you go to a sauna with him or something?
"Badass" means "tough."
A sauna? No, we have not been to a sauna. However, we have done a lot of things together.
Ah, so badass in that sense. Alright. Carry on!

Well, I did it. Meet Theodora al-Satak, Dora for short. Her mother Katia was an ambassador to Cyrodiil from Hammerfell. After the, eh, Incident, her mother obtained a position within the newly formed Daggerfall Covenant, working with Breton and Orc ambassadors. Dora spent a lot of time between Cyrodiil and Hammerfell before the Soulburst, after which she stayed in Hammerfell full time training. She is a commendable soldier, but refuses to use her mother’s position to advance, instead preferring to get by on her own merits.
She doesn’t know her father - she’s always been raised by just her mother and studying with tutors and later honing her fighting skills.
And yeah, she’s a Tharn bastard.

Cadwell's never been one for gardening, so he did not understand the purpose of everything that was to be found there, and he did not bother himself with it, because what would he use such a knowledge for? Anyway, that is not the point. The point is that to make them a most effective storage, the sheds are rather tall spires, from which there is an amazing view. Or perhaps they are just actual spires which have been repurposed as gardening sheds, both is very pragmatic of the Impalers. Still, the view.

As I said to @talonticus I realised a better way of Elanna not being around for the events in Elsweyr instead of wasting her trapped-under-the-ocean event.
She just doesn’t fucking show up.
She sees its Abnur Tharn asking for help and is gripped with a sudden, all-encompassing need to be literally anywhere else, because if she has to be about Abnur for even a minute she will knock his block off.
My necromancer Ylva Shadowgrave helps with the dragon problem instead b/c she’s the one who woke up at the khajiit temple.
And then when Lyris (presumably) reaches out like “hey we have a vampire problem” Elanna groans and drags herself over to Skyrim.

(this is the anon that asked about your thoughts on the ending to eso) I LOVED IT TOO it was really good and i agree that it was well paced, also enough to get you attached to the characters! i remember when they were telling me 'this is it' i was trying really hard not to cry because we did so much and it was all finally going to end (i did the covenant btw)
[CONT] (same anon) also i do think eso had a better story than skyrim because though both are instances of the world ending, in eso you can actually see it. people struggling from the alliance war, daedra terrorizing everywhere, etc. in skyrim the only person who was really in any danger was the dragonborn, but in eso you fight alongside all these people and you kinda feel bad for dragging them here but its necessary and so yeah i think eso’s story was more realistic
i was honestly pleasantly very surprised! i wasnt expecting much but they did a great job making the characters likeable (not even just main but also minor characters?? and even Abnur Tharn. like. h o w) and pacing the story, especially when it came to actually taking the fight to the bad guy. it wasnt just ‘lets go kick molag bal’s ass nbd’ it really gave me a sense of urgency and risk?? (i’m looking at your shout-three-times final boss fight, Skyrim.) also love that it wasnt just a one-person hero story, it was such a team effort? good content. (BLOOD FOR THE PACT!! jokes c: ) but yeah. as a person who ashamedly bashed ESO at first, i am really happy the game not only proved me wrong, but also exceeded my expectations.
if anyone’s considering buying the game, me and anonnie here clearly recommend ESO 10/10

My liege a question about your role during battles with the 5 companions. I came across a descriprion that stated you might have been assigned the role of the healer during your time adventuring. Is there any truth to it? If not who exactly did the healing? Since neither Sahan nor Titanborn seem to have the necessary knowledge and between Aquilarios and Tharn only the former seems to do any healing. And I guess this is a recent developement.
An apt question, and one that does indeed have some truth to it. As of the time of our travels, three of the Companions were utterly useless at magic in general, leaving Tharn and myself as candidates. To my knowledge, Aquilarios did no magic until after his time with the Moth Priests. Tharn will verify that he was never one to practice Restoration magic to any great extent, thus leaving me as the only somewhat qualified Healer of the Five.
While we largely ignored smaller injuries - scrapes and bruises and that sort of thing - to heal on their own, due to the nature of our travels, sometimes magically-induced healing assistance was required. To that end, I would like you to imagine Titanborn barreling forth screaming into a horde of Orcish warriors, with Sai Sahan and Aquilarios not far behind, weapons drawn and no shields for defense. Then imagine myself, standing in the back, knowing these bloody imbeciles are going to die if I don’t start covering them, and then where will my quest for the Amulet be.
Now imagine this going on for over a year.

How was it when you took Lord Tharn to the Shivering Isles? What did he say? Whatever happened, he certainly seems quite fond of you now.
I didn't exactly take him to the Isles in the... dramatic sense of taking a mortal to the Isles, you know?
I just gifted him a small isle, the Isle of Tulips. It has a cottage and a nice garden. Abnur really likes it there!
And of course he is fond of me, he's my husband!!

I was finally able to join one of Chancellor Tharn’s games of cards today, and I must say, it was an interesting, but not unenjoyable experience! I shall have to do so again soon, and I very much encourage my readers to do the same!
On an unrelated note, I may or may not be making another short trip to Nibenay. Perhaps...

Elis clings hard to anyone who offers her even a modicum of understanding wrt her necromancy tbh. She adores Verandis because she relates so hard to having to hide and keep people at a distance for fear of (potentially violent) judgement based on stereotypes and fear. Verandis actually helps assuage some of her internal fears that maybe she ISN’T any different from necromancers like Mannimarco or Angof who go around desecrating graves - because if Verandis can be a good vampire, she can be a good necromancer.
Out of the companions she actually clings to Abnur. Sai and Lyris are, understandably, wary of Elis because necromancy. She can’t begrudge them that - and eventually they DO become less cold, even friendly - and she feels that Varen’s tolerance of her stems from the fact that she is The Vestige™ and not out of any actual fondness. At least when Abnur judges her it’s not about the necromancy - his flippancy is refreshing.
