OOH. paul pelletier (artist for early superboy and the ravers) draws one of my favorite kons ever in canon (the curls. the curls!!) and of course i really like dan mora and jorge jiminez and also bilquis evely's art. shoutout also to fatima wajid for my Favorite smot cover, and david talaski for my second-favorite smot cover dsfkjlds

WELL as a guy who loves inhaling lore, connecting dots, engaging in general pedantry, and sorting through various bits of canon to pick my favorite versions,

(my first ever fandom, by which i mean the first one where i started like engaging in and creating stuff and reading meta or fics or looking at art, etc, was tolkien's legendarium, aka the silmarillion plus histories of middle-earth, if that tells you anything about me.)

sldjflkdjflK NO but mostly because im terrible at keeping up with whats actually ongoing and upcoming. i dont know shit about fuck unless kon is there, at which point i do pay attention (so like, i DID know about smot and kept up with dates there) (and now i'm back to living under a rock). except that i also generally don't like a lot of postflashpoint takes on characters i liked preflashpoint, so i never really look forward to those without a degree of trepidation. (for example. stares at the lex luthor psychic bomb retcon. what the fuck is that.)

um... are there any upcoming cool minis like city boy and spirit world with new characters?? thats mostly the kind of thing i'm enjoying as far as modern comics go!!! so... if there's anything of that sort. that'll be what i'm looking forward to skjdhfjkds but honestly i don't know!!

Bc of this he Hates for his space to get to messy. He's always going around picking up after his friends (unless he's drunk, then he sits in Matt's lap and doesn't worry about it).

🐾One time he did this sort of Gus Waters (tfios) thing where he laid down on the dorm floor and pretended to be dead and had everyone give an impromptu eulogy. He played it off as a joke but Matt suspected he was trying to get some reassurance about his place in the world.

🐾Despite sidestepping his own feelings, he's one of the more articulate and careful when it comes to helping his teammates. He has an uncanny ability to sense exactly what someone's struggling with emotionally and bring it up tactfully, like Neil taking too many classes

🐾Many things rage trigger him. Stupid people in class mostly, but he tries to keep it in check by ranting to Matt or the group chat when he feels like it would be a waste of time to yell at whoever he's mad at.

🐾Matt and Wymack are good to push and shove if he needs a physical outlet. They're also good to curl up to when Dan inevitably breaks down crying after a rage episode.

🐾I once saw a tiktok of a stripper that was like "when men give me all their money and think they're in love with me but I'm just a little autistic boy in a wig". Yeah thats him. He likes his stripper girlfriends and they like him because they're all scrappy and do what it takes to survive. Dan respects that in anyone.

🐾 When the monsters took him to Eden's he was Pissed the Fuck Off about being drugged and gave them all a mouthful for that for 45 minutes before it fully kicked in and he started to answer questions

Paint: Full disclosure; I exist solely because theres a system here called the paint water system and I formed as a personified factive of that despite knowing hardly shit about them. I'm just here to vibe, have no filter, and fuck shit up wherever I can.

Pie: Pie is nonverbal so I'll do the same thing I did for Omni; Pie is a very touchy time bomb, essentially. Pie is the reason we experience tics and they worsen the closer pie is to the front. Pie's been quiet lately so we haven't had as bas or as often tics.

but when blu died from whatever happened (it was an instant accident kinda deal, like a stumble+fall or smthin) and everyone kinda freaked n left, luego was the last one to leave

bc he geuinly didnt know what to do n so he hung back just staring in horror and trying to think of some other option until the grouo called back like "dUDE LETS GO" or smthin n he judt made a rlly frustrated / upset noise before glancing over one last time apologetically / "this is so fucked" kinda look at blu n then turning to run with the rest

bc they knew if police or smthin showed up thered be a fuckton of trouble for them since they prolly had a p bad reputation around town anyways, so itd def look like a crime rather than an accident
