#but think about the first game when you arrive in Fyrestone
Text
I'm just saying, they could totally make a (borderlands-style) Stephen King's Desperation/Far Cry kind of story/game/whatever about some off-worlder, maybe someone anti-Hyperion getting stuck in Lynchwood (possibly getting stranded on Pandora and thinking that this place might be civilised and bandit-free) and hoping to get out of there (but also out of the desert and off Pandora). Possibly even working as a prequel to Nisha's death in Borderlands 2 somehow.

Borderlands AU with my twin @crxsshairxs but this is more a silly doodle than anything. I actually play as a hunter with my twin but in my single player game I play as a Siren. Polaris loves the claptraps because when you rescue them they give you extra inventory slots and they are cute. Writing below the cut.
"...Can we keep it!?" Polaris held the offending mechlet up towards the paratrooper, rather pleased with his find but Cross was having none of it. "No. We are not having a fragging claptrap as a pet!" He loved the spymaster, he really really did but sometimes he had opinions which were really inconvinient. Such as adoring the local Claptrap population the moment he laid eyes on them which was about 2 minutes into landing on Pandora for the first time ever. He'd been trying to convince Crosshairs ever since to adopt one with him but he was still having absolutely none of it.
This time a friendly Claptrap bore red colouring and had been frantically speeding back and forth out of Dr.Zed's clinic and the various vending machines dotted around sanctuary. Such a dingy town surrounded by mountains of rubbish it was hardly much more than a village but it was somewhere more civilised than Fyrestone at least where they had previously rescued the good doctor from a grisly fate by bandits. This particular Claptrap had been fearing for its life for unknown reasons, most likely concerned that another of its kin had previously been lying to rust on the floor it wheeled past each time it went outside to fix the ammo venders Markus forgot to maintain. The locals didn't think too highly of the resident drones by the look of it, Polaris parkour'ing his way around the rooftops before his partner could stop him in order to fix the little robot leeking oil into the hard sands of Haven.
Claptraps everywhere rejoiced the arrival of the blue blur by the look of it. Each one eager to say hello and run to him for protection. Crosshairs personally found it disgusting and he made no attempt to hide it as the makeshift mech/medic was held up high meekly and thrust into his face. "C'mon Cross this one is terrified of practically everyone here! He just wants to help and he's paranoid to hell! He isn't that different from us," The Claptrap being waggled in front of him was still shaking, not really trying to get free.
