cowboy gojo who wakes up early to watch the sunrise. he makes his rounds, feeding all his animals and giving all his cows a smooch on the head before moving onto his daily chores.

cowboy gojo who hires you, a newly graduated vet, to take care of his animals exclusively bc he loves them that much. you don’t mind, he’s paying you handsomely and it’s peaceful in the small town. plus all the animals are kind and welcoming, just like gojo.

cowboy gojo who watches with a fond smile as you give his horse a regular checkup. she can be temperamental with others, but his horse immediately takes a liking to you and she even follows you around the ranch sometimes when you’re out and about. he watches as you hold each chicken carefully, talking to them and cooing over them as you do your best to make sure they’re in good health.

cowboy gojo who goes out in a tank top tucked into his jeans when the weather gets too hot, a smile on his face as he wipes the sweat off his forehead before getting back to work, muscles flexing as he moves stuff around his ranch. you can’t help the way your eyes stray to his muscular thighs, straining against the tough denim of his pants as he carried bundles of hay to his truck.

cowboy gojo who helps you get used to living in the town, taking you into the city and introducing you to everyone. he takes you to the farmers market, the summer festivals, and even to the local rodeo, where you find out he’s the top competitor.

cowboy gojo who goes all out in his next competition, winning in the barrel race and the calf tying before giving the crowd a victorious grin. he makes his way over to where you’re waiting on the sidelines, climbing off his horse before placing his hat on your head, earning gasps from those around you. gojo’s never done that before, never even implied that he’s been interested in anyone. but he’s just made his interest in you public knowledge.

cowboy gojo who offers to show you how to ride his horse, laughing when you give him a hesitant look. his hands are rough and strong as he pulls you up, positioning you in front of him before reaching around you to grab the reins. his broad chest is pressed up to your back as he slips the reins into your hands, his fingers enveloping yours as he leans in close to whisper instructions.

cowboy gojo who turns bright red when you turn around and pluck his hat from his head, placing it on yours before leaning back into him. he almost chokes on his breath when you give him a sly smile, commenting on how simple riding seems and if there was anything else on the ranch that could give you a bigger challenge.

Hiiii I don't know if you've already done one like this, but who are your favorite fic writers? I always love your recs and I'd love to know who your favorites are so I can check them out! Also I love your fics!

hii! thank you so much for this ask I can’t believe I hadn’t though of doing this before!

most of these authors are people that I have talked with at least once before, and I can vouch for their character 1000%. reading their writing is so much more gratifying not only because it’s well written, but because of the satisfaction of knowing that they are truly good individuals as well. I am also thinking about doing one of these recs for artists and other content creators as well if anyone would be interested in that!

I'm in the middle of midterms right now so my brain is very scattered and I'm sure I’ve forgotten some people, but know that there is no way I could possibly list all of the wonderful authors that have made a difference in my life. but please check out these authors and leave them some love if you do! as always, please stick to your own interests and don’t spread any hate!

reading this author’s work is like getting immersed in another world. why i chose my url: dumb pun i drew in comic form in middle school about hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy and me being in the midst of a semi-intellectual phase; it was a glass of orange juice and it said ‘philosophy juice - only 42 calories in every half glass’

following: 466 but ive been meaning to go through them all again cause lots are inactive/blogs about things im not into as much anymore (i think that also includes my other two blogs?? not sure)

average hours of sleep: anywhere from 4 to 10 on the average day, but when uni is going usually like 7/8

instruments: ive played piano for a super long time, same with alto saxophone all through school but i haven’t played since i graduated; i also play guitar (but still super rusty) and i sing a lot!! i’d like to learn viola or violin, bass, and some other kind of wind instrument

what am i wearing: booty shorts and a thrifted sweater...... and some space themed earrings i just got in the mail from a really cool artist i follow on twitter

dream job: published author!!!! that’s my dream. but i’m hoping to get some sort of career in conservation, climate change research, sustainable planning and development, or something in those realms since i’m getting my degree in environmental sciences and geography :))

dream trip: iceland!! and i’d also love to do a road trip up to the arctic circle here in canada. my other top places i wanna visit are argentina (esp patagonia, and taking a boat down to antarctica), taiwan with my best friend who’s from there, new zealand, turkey, greece, egypt, and way too many other places. also back to scotland cause hopefully i’ll be living there one day!

favorite food: anything that is pasta. i also love creme brulee (for a favourite dessert) and this thing called cranachan that’s like, whisky and raspberries and homemade whipped cream and oatmeal and it is. sublime. way too many other foods tho............ (if astrology isn’t real why am i a taurus that can’t stop thinking about food)

favorite song: oof yeah no can’t decide that but a top contender that i listened to for the millionth time this morning is all these things that i’ve done by the killers

last book read: reading the scottish boy by alex de campi and i am VERY MUCH enjoying it (there’s def some kinda iffy aspects to it, but it’s gorgeously written. and im a sucker for lgbtq historical fiction. so) it’s literally about a knight and his semi-squire in medieval britain who fall in love amidst political turmoil. the other book im in the middle of is gideon the ninth by tamsyn muir and if you’re reading this you’re now contractually obligated to read it. PLEASE IM SO ALONE AND IT’S A MASTERPIECE

top three fictional universes i’d like to live in: lotr, zelda, animal crossing...... anything where i can be freed from the chains of neo-liberal capitalism and maybe have some magic as a treat

-are you staying home from work/school? yeah my uni’s been closed since around a month. it sucks but well

-are you a homebody? kinda. my favourite type of party is getting slightly drunk by a campfire by the sea so i don’t go to a lot of parties

the last 2 minutes of my dream consisted of scrolling through nexflix who had commercialised on mchanzo by making a ton of low budget films about cowboy / archer gay romance and i’m like “well there goes my uni break”

Hi Ravens fans,I am a UK based Ravens fan and I thought you may like to hear my story ahead of the game in the UK, I got into the NFL through a cheap purchase of a second hand Madden in a bargain bin in a video game store after I won a gift card to that game store in a pub quiz. When I turned them game on and flicked through the teams trying to decide who to play as I landed on the Ravens, mainly because of my love of the TV show the Wire, little did I know then I was to be hooked in by these unknown names Flacco, Lewis and Reed. I played Madden throughout the summer and started getting into the sport with it not being in season I went on Pirate Bay and downloaded old NFL games to watch and learn more.My first season was 2010, I had o friends in to the NFL at this time and watched alone, left heartbroken by our Steelers loss, in the summer I went to America with my family, my brother had started watching me play madden and as we where in New york decided to root for the Jets (Been years of pain since). that year I got a few of my friends into the sport and found a few people in my home town of Liverpool who followed it and started to play fantasy football, Cundiff wide left ended the season in heartbreak and at that moment I really knew I was going nowhere I was so upset by this bizarre sport miles away, I also attended my first game in this season Bears vs Buccs at Wembley.2012, what a year, in the Summer I left uni, and with a UK gripped in a financial crises I headed for Canada and better opportunities, my one aim while living and working in Canada was get to Baltimore, I booked a return flight from Toronto for the Steelers game and headed to America. I arrived in Baltimore with little idea of the city, arriving on game day the city was buzzing the train I got from the airport downtown was filling with fans, when I arrived I chose not to check in just dumped my bag in the hotel so I could go straight to the game. Tailgaiting blew me away, I am a big fan of real football over here and had never seen anything like it thousands of fans, when I chatted to people and told them I was a UK fan I got free beer and food from various people, the game started and i was overwhelmed by the pregame hype, sadly my hero Ray Lewis missed the game through injury and the result was horrific Charlie Batch in a defensive slug one for the Steelers, I headed to a restaurant by the Orioles stadium after the game and a random group of fans let me sit with them they where shocked with my knowledge and passion for the NFL. I followed by staying in Baltimore for two days I bought a ton of Merchandise (Including a Ray Rice jersey I later binned) and I loved the city, its a beautiful place but the people really stood out to me, so many chatted for ages about my UK love of the Ravens and bought me things showed me round a groundskeeper even let me in Camden Yards for photos! We won the superbowl, I watched in my living room in Toronto and danced around like a madman.The next season the Ravens played in Buffalo which is just over the border from Toronto, again I headed down, this time on a bus full of Canadian Bills fans, again we lost to an awful quarterback EJ Manuel, Flacco was horrible, the ride back with abuse from drunken Bills fans was a nightmare.The next year I moved back to England, since then the NFL has exploded, so many people follow, the games are a feature - I have been to Cheifs vs Lions and Jets vs Dolphins int he past two years, but then I saw the Ravens where coming, having been over to America twice and seen two awful losses I hope this changes my curse, I live in Liverpool in Englands north and I am coming down for the weekend dragging my Cowboys supporting best mate along he will be one of us for the weekend, I am not a big fan of the city of London but its a great place to visit as a tourist so I hope all Americans travelling enjoy, if you get a chance check out some of the rest of the country! I cant wait to see us here in the UK and I hope I can meet Ray Lewis at the pub on Saturday and repay the fact I never got to see him live! If anyone else has any stories they want to share I would love to hear about how other fans got into the Ravens and if they got the same amazing hospitality in Baltimore. via /r/ravens
