Happy halloween, @aliteral-ghost! I've been meaning to properly draw False for a while now, and finally got a chance to do so for your @mcyt-halloween gift!
...Not quite sure what level of spooky this is though. Maybe a 2? Blood on the Clocktower is intrinsically pretty spooky and the game False played was extremely fun, so I wanted to try designing a haunted-looking False in full fortuneteller garb.
Fun fact: below all those opacity layers and blue filters, False's outfit is mostly coppery bluegreens and browns in honour of her Empires look, with the dark green cape matching her hermit skin's jacket.

The base pattern is taken from this daxiushan (大袖衫) pattern. To make this daxiushan (Heipaoshi's Version), I shortened the sleeves a bit, added extra length to the body, added a hood, and added the weird gauzy bits on the back. I also added some cording on the shoulders and the sides of the hood, following the design from the show as closely as I could. You'll also notice a couple decorative bands of black ribbon on the chest and at the waist, as well as a square of skightly different black fabric on the back — these are also embellishments added to follow the model in the drama.
Fabric: raw silk noil, cotton lining in the hood, a silk habotai square, silk gauze, silk ribbons, cotton cording. Entirely handsewn using waxed black linen thread.
But Buck didn't seem ready to talk. He just shifted, moving so he could drop his head to Eddie's shoulder, before nodding slightly and hiding his face on his neck.
That is also new, Buck allowing himself to seek comfort. So Eddie waits, lets his hand find Buck's hair, fingers lazily moving through it until he relaxes against him.
“I thought you were dead,” Buck mumbles into his skin, still hiding, almost as if he's hoping that if he stays like this, it can't hurt him.
“It was just a bad dream,” Eddie tries to reassure him, fingers still moving on his hair, but he shakes his head.
“No, not- not now, I mean, yes, in the dream too, but when you- I thought you were dead. You went down and you were looking at me, but then you weren't and I- I thought you were dead,” Buck explains and Eddie breathes out a soft oh once he understands what he means.
“We never talked about it, about how it was for you,” he says, carefully, because even if Buck seems to be in a more open mood, he knows how fast he can shut down.
