u know what actually appreciation post for my joints because yes I’m in pain every day but I haven’t felt like I’ve needed my cane in a couple of weeks so thank u body ur doing a good job

#I bought it for that very bad flare and convinced myself I was going to need it from then on for the rest of forever #I guess I technically do bc I will have a flare that bad again #telling myself I won’t is delusional #but that’s okay because using a cane doesn’t make me any less of a person and I still need to remind myself sometimes but ultimately #im grasping that #I am still mourning my abled body (I guess more abled it more accurate I’ve always had EDS whatever) #but that’s okay im allowed to love my disabled body and mourn my abled body at the same time those are not mutually exclusive #me pacing whil typing bc it helps my brain and my left big toe cracking w every step: ur talking abt me and im helping :3 #yes sweetie ur doing amazing left toe u are helping #anyway #I have a lil sodie and I just lit a candle I’m going to clean my toilet real quick (I hav one of the Clorox wands so it’s suuuuuper easy😈 ) #and I cleaned the whole outside the other night before showering #and then I’m gonna take a nice hot shower and leisurely get ready for work #I have new undies and new gender affirming pants that I know fit me to wear 🥰🥰 #I think I had a nightmare last night that I don’t remember (this is frequent. sometimes wake up crying not knowing WHY) #but I woke up a lil sad and my eyes were watery blah blah blah a few of my other lil ‘maybes’ I have #but I’ve done a good job at making it a good day so far 🥰
