the thing is that the way to keep children safe on the internet is actually that u should monitor their internet use. not in a helicopter mom overbearing way just like u should have a big desktop in a family room where people usually walk in and out and they should have a flip phone with no internet until they are 15 at least. u should also still be teaching them not to give out personal info to people they don't know. I didn't tell anyone my real name on this site until I was 17. did not tell them my age until I became an adult and it was important. strict laws on what can and cannot be on the internet lead to the oppression of already marginalized groups and the suffocation of activist groups. if u actually give a fuck about your children u would just like. hang out with them instead of giving them an ipad

#they also need to bring back places like club penguin and disney channel games and cartoon network games etc #but they want 8 year olds to scroll tiktok and download apps so that will not happen #anyway buy your kid some computer games ispy spooky mansion is literally only 2.98 on any desktop that will keep them busy for a week #text post
