How come Shelby was in therapy and said the name wrong? Shelby said that she went to Sematic Therapy, although there is only Somatic Therapy, and Somatic Therapy is aimed at processing the reaction to fear attacks and removing them, and not at releasing anger.

But the most important thing is why Shelby went to different therapies, why didn’t she settle on one specific one that helped her. There may be several options, but the most possible is that Shelby was not helped by the therapies she went to.

This shot from Act One, Scene One was really the beginning of my cinematic style. I still love it and have always wanted to make the look canonical in some event or engagement somewhere, but the whole point was it being, "so not Vivi."

These two shots, from Viviana I's Ruby Jubilee was supposed to note the comparison of Vivi's audience (close family, film crew, isolated) to Eloise's (most members of the extended Royal Family, heavy foreign royal presence, film crew AND press). I'm not sure if the message came across for anyone else, but I'm very fond of them.

Also from Viviana I's Ruby Jubilee was this shot of Arnaut @nexility-sims and Vivi happily taking a selfie- which is just SO fecking funny to me, because we've established that there is deep tension between the sisters (aka Vivi and HIS WIFE), to the point wherein Lorri would not attend the private event in Vivi's honor. My headcanon is that Vivi was mildly uncomfortable with his hand on her shoulder and Arnaut saw (and took) the opportunity to make a goof.

During @officalroyalsofpierreland 's state visit to the Ionian Union I got to showcase a lot of the lore I had builtup, but hadn't shared at that point: Tiara and Uniform Lore were the main ideas I wanted to present and I got to do that in a Royal Entrance. It may not be a big deal to Literally Anyone Else, but I always find protocol during state events so fascinating. Here's an article on state events involving royalty if anyone is interested.

Act Two changed SO much behind the scenes, but I was so incredibly dedicated to keeping the concert scene. The shots were beautiful and showcased me in the beginning stages of learning to edit my screenies. It was also incredibly important for Raheem's arc; they were engaged quickly, and this scene confirmed in his mind that he found someone who loves him for who he is, this was confirmation that he could be just a ken.

Adrienne visiting a royal watcher's blog and then wanting to meet her in person is forever funny to me. I'm also just- really proud of the page she's on still.

Viola and Raheem's wedding was very hard for me to shoot, but it paid tf off !!!! I'm still in love with absolutely every detail. The aesthetics were aesthetic-ing.

Raheem going with Elle to say goodbye to their Grandma will always be my favorite scene of Act Three. It was very personal for me. And- also, them crying and being vunerable after this shot showed personal growth for birth parties beyond belief.

Last, but certainly not least, this is my favorite shot from last post. I shot it forever ago at this point and I just- I loved and still love it for Reasons. @empiredesimparte

Computers Game Bad, Real Life Good..? (my notes on Coffin Tree / Viral Dimensions)

Previous my notes on: [1][2][3][4] The subgenre of analog horror within un-fiction is here to stay. Cross it over with lost media - where someone is mailed or accidentally comes across an undocumented game or TV series (usually from the 80s or 90s to fit the narration) and invites us, the viewers, or even sometimes ARG players, to dare to discover the whole story - and you have a ready canvas to drop a story onto unsuspecting fans online.

It happened again.

At first glance it's like so many others. We can quickly guess the gist - evil game company, testing early virtual reality headsets, things go horribly wrong. People die. The story doesn't even dwelve much on the exposition. The fragmented cuts in first episodes, most of them less than a minute, makes our brains fit in the holes pretty easily.

And yet, I am hooked.

Not because I think Hayden Rhodes, the CEO of the company that in 1995 was supposed to give the world "Coffin Tree", is out there, living and the last person knowing the whole story from the inside, before the HQ got destroyed, no.

I understand the headset messed with the brains of the players, making them confuse reality with the game, something all parents and psychologists warn us against, but driving home "virtual worlds - baaaad!" is not at all the intention of the creators.

It's also not the urge to see the lake at the last level of the Coffin Tree game, in the middle of the labirynth. What grips me is the subtle foreshadowing (I believe) which will bless me with delicious lore and surprises by the end.

Examples include the name of the company that made the game - The Tulpa Corporation. If you are a fan of Twin Peaks, you know all about top notch usage of tulpa tropes in storytelling. If not, you may be in for a ride. Or the fact, that the prequel to this was built at least 5 years ago. Whether it was because the project was shelved for a while and now the creators rebound, or because they needed to sprinkle some urban legends on Reddit and 4chan as a builtup - I do not really care.

What I really care for is whether that built up will be lore? (In part two we hear the narrator of Viral Diemnsions vlog say "I could have sworn I already edited some of these videos before." and indeed, there was a channel called "Coffin Tree" before, set in that universe, but dating back to 2020-21).

Reality is allegedly always better, when your brain is not controlled by AI, but by yourself. Yet it's hard to believe that the roots of the Coffin Tree run so shallow. They won't let you go. And reaching level 60 without dying will not save you, sorry, it just let them deeper.
