my baby cousins came over today!!! their family is heading back home tomorrow, they traveled from northerb hoenn for passover, but they really wanted to see me so my aunt and uncle dropped them off for the day 💛 isaiah has decided that lulu is close enough to a snake for him to really like him hehe, kitty has absolutely fallen in love with buckwheat, and gabe spent a lot of time just chasing bouton around. we got lunch and went to a park and watched a movie at home!!!! i really love my baby cousins but i do not get to see them very often so it was really nice 🥺 ren got along great with everyone too!!!!

Hey, um, i have a question for you, and it's super fine if you say no.

There's this ponyta, the galarian kind, at the service pokemon academy i volunteer at that has some special needs thanks to an accident he was involved in. He cant be around pokemon with sharp teeth, like even herbivore pokemon, but they really don't have space for him to be separate and so he ends up in these small spaces and kinda lonely.

I know you specialize in grass types and it's way out of your wheelhouse but would you consider taking him in? I figure most grass types don't really have teeth, and those that do aren't usually sharp. He's very small, and sweet as long as, you know, the teeth thing. His name is Buckwheat.

oh gosh!!!! oh noooo poor buckwheat :( it definitely is pretty far out of my usual specialties but you are right that for the most part grass-types will not have particularly sharp teeth and i can always ask the rangers to make sure i am not given a pokémon like...a scovillain i guess??? that is the only one i can think of with especially sharp teeth off the top of my head... or maybe an ivysaur or vensaur but i have never been given one of those before either, just a bulbasaur a loooong time ago

i have never raised a psychic-type before... but i also cannot just hear about buckwheat being lonely and sad and not do anything!!! 😭 i do not know if i can offer to take him as a forever home to be very honest, it has only been soleil and me for a very long time and another pokémon would be a really big commitment and i do not know if i can make that decision right away, but i think if you are willing to help me with some of his care i could at least take him in as a foster? that way he will have more space and more attention than it sounds like he does now at the very least!!! and if the two of us decide we like each other before some other tooth-free house decides they like him then we can see what happens hehe

Tix here, i have good news: i have cleared scheduke for the 30th and 31st! (Which isn't actually that hard if you're self employed and don't have any workers, but the construction company needed a bit of a heads up). This means I'll be able to attend your birthday party! Hurray!

I've got an important question though: would you be able to house my Pokémon for a night? And if so, which ones? I would love to bring Coffee and Muffin, and maybe even Basil and Poppy. It wouldn't be any trouble if you can't, but it would make it easier to choose a Hotel.

oh my gosh, i am so glad you are able to make it!!!! i would be happy to keep your pokémon and also you in my guest room for the night, but i think basil might be a little tricky... buckwheat, my galarian ponyta, absolutely cannot be around pokémon with sharp teeth and toxtricity have those little fangs... :( if you are staying with us too i think we could make it work by rearranging pokémon between the guest room and the plant nursery, that is how we have to do it with amy's nidorino and how we did it with tom's bats and it worked just fine, but i would need you here too to have the extra set of hands. i'm sorry!!!

A box of cards from @the-rainbow-kids arrives. Along with more flowers, some seeds for those flowers, and a small lyre with a beginners instruction book. There is also a book of crosswords and a book of Terramaran myths.

Hello. I know that getting stabbed his highly unpleasant. So here are some things to pass your time while you are recovering. I made sure to send nothing consumable as that would be a dreadful waste.

Also, would you like a Terramaran Trubbish, they make compost amazingly and eat kitchen scarps. Briar was considering it but sometimes can be too shy to ask these things. For when you are recovered of course. @prof-hemp420

oh my goodness look at all of this!!!! these flowers are gorgeous and i am so excited to learn about the seeds that were sent so i can plant even more 🥺 these are going to look so beautiful in the garden!!!! and oh gosh are you sure about the lyre?? instruments are kind of expensive right, are you sure this is ok???? i cannot carry a tune in a bucket to tell you the truth hehe but maybe something like this would be fun to learn... i will give it my best but only if you are really sure i can have this!!!!

also as far as the offer for the terramaran trubbish goes i think that is very very kind of you, i do love to compost hehe, but i will have to think about it. it has just been soleil and me for so long, plus the rotating fosters, that adopting another pokémon is a really big deal you know? and i think maybe i should not make that decision until things are a little calmer anyway...

but this whole package and card and sentiment are just so so sweet of you thank you so much 🥺💛 please send briar my appreciation for the thought too!!!! thank you, i'm really really grateful
