Ah, i didn't mean so much to shout at her, but more to just. Say what we were trying to say but louder so she might hear? I see how that might come across though... Maybe my instincts aren't quite on point in this case.

I do try to talk to her about you... Sometimes she even lets me get a few minutes in but it doesn't seem that she's really hearing me. She's angry at me for bringing it up, but i think that she's just a bit lost in her emotions and I'm really not sure what to do about that. I barely knew how to deal with my own emotions about this no less hers.

You'd think at this point I'd be better equipped to handle teenage angst but I am in fact still clueless. It's much more difficult when they can teleport

She'll come around... eventually. I hope. The teleporting is the issue isn't it,I'm sure if she would just listen a moment she would understand but well. It really is much like a slammed door isn't it, except then you can at least shout from the other side of it, hah.

Maybe we could try that, who knows.

When pulled out of the ground, Oddish will shriek loudly in an attempt to scare off potential predators. Occasionally, a perfectly safe and secure Oddish will also start to scream while it walks about during the night.

This ability to make such a loud noise is peculiar, as the entire Oddish family is typically quiet and calm. It is hypothesized that some Oddish will shriek when they become very bored or lack enrichment.

Some people believe that when an Oddish starts to scream, it must be communicating with other nearby Oddish. However, Oddish that hear their neighbors' shrieking will rarely react in any way.

It really is disheartening that Rose just doesn't seem willing to talk to Casi. I've tried to convince her but she just isn't interested, she won't hear of it. She'll teleport away if Casi so much as rounds a corner.

... It's not unlike a teenager slamming shut a door, really. Except that the teenager is a pokemon and the door can be anywhere at any time and you also can't open it afterwards. It's not a perfect analogy.

It's not exactly me you should be asking really, but honestly I'm impressed that you were able to get her to cooperate enough to be measured as it is. Who knows, maybe you'll get your chance.

We're both sleeping in the bed. It's a twin so it's a tight squeeze for sure... I've basically been competing to claim a spot before the Houndoom because otherwise I have to try and either move her and her strange lanky body or I have to sorta just... Form myself around whatever space may be left. Which isn't comfortable.

If I manage to get in bed before her she lays on top of the two of us. Getting smothered is preferable to sleeping like one of those... Crazy straw things. Do kids still use those? The twisty ones. That's what I feel like

Professor why are you cuddling your paperwork

I'm not cuddling my paperwork. I fell asleep while working. I knew I should have been working somewhere other than the bed, but well Casi seemed insistent that I at least lay down. I suppose now I know why. As it is I need to redo that paperwork and check it over for mistakes, quite a bit of it was crumpled.

Maybe I'll do some work outside today. The weather is nice and well. This working space makes even me feel claustrophobic. Brings up some bad memories.

My girlfriend and the Houndoom she claims she doesn't like. "Standoffish." I'd sooner believe you could fit a Mamoswine in a coin purse before I'd believe that.

At least she's finally resting... With the lights on and surrounded by paperwork. Wonderful.

As far as I understand it it's one of the lower risk crosses, as neither pokemon's bodies are composed of fire or ice in any major way. I do believe that a fire and ice combination is possible but unlikely, as Dark is the more likely type to pass on Houndoom's end in the less common scenario that they inherit a true typing from their father. It would not be desirable, however, as they have a slightly higher likelihood of medical issues... or i believe so anyway. I may not have the correct.

As far as temperament, she isn't aggressive or anything of the like, but I would not go so far to call her friendly. Perhaps standoffish is a better term. She doesn't seem to enjoy the company of many, and detests the company of most of the rest. She's gotten on alright with Rose and Miairu, but not many other pokemon, and she doesn't exactly play in the way one expects of canine pokemon either.

I'm not sure you have a choice in the matter of her being yours or not, she seems to like you a lot!
