Living the Life of a Free Spirited Gypsy Soul

Hello, my fellow dreamers! "She's an old soul with young eyes, a vintage heart, and a beautiful mind." — Nicole Lyons Many of you may be wondering what a free-spirited gypsy soul is. I am very much both of these things, so I'd like to share with you more about who I am and how I live my life. There are things that define a girl with a gypsy soul. If you've ever come across a girl with this trait, she must have had an impact on you. She's probably like nobody you've ever met. That FREE-SPIRITED girl was someone that made you feel comfortable and good about yourself while in her presence, and you would very much like to be her friend. She is bohemian like and her spirit is wild and free. Her thoughts are sometimes unconventional and she doesn't like to be tied down to society's rules. Like myself, they have their own path to follow and rivers to flow in. A gypsy soul feels deeply and is very empathetic towards others. I love deeply and I put other people's needs above my own. My emotions are strong. I can be very happy and sad at the same time, but I try to stay positive and allow the negativity to wash away. I rely on my intuition and I always follow my heart and my soul. I'm not afraid to take chances — sometimes living in uncertainty. I try to be brave even though I'm scared. I'm very aware of who I am, but more importantly, I LIKE who I am. A free-spirited gypsy soul loves diversity. That's why they love meeting new people and listening to their stories. They aren't much for routine because it doesn't fit their life well. I very much do things as the spirit moves me. We appreciate nature and the universe around us. Being in tune with this magnificent universe inspires much of my writing. I'm inspired by what God has created: the sun, the clouds, the moon, the snow, and the vast mountains and the trees. Just look around you! My "alone time" is very important to me. I enjoy my own company, so when I'm alone in my 4 walls, it's OK. I don't solely rely on others to make me happy because I CREATE my own happiness. Free-spirited people paint their life's canvas with bold, bright colors. They love artists: musicians, writers, painters, and the like. Music is an important part of our lives. Lyrics, rhythms, harmony, and dance are all an essential part of life. A gypsy soul does everything with great passion. They have a purpose and a vision in life that drives them. Passion is the fueling fire in their soul. They are curious people that ask questions. Like myself, they are always looking for the deeper meaning of life. I love unconditionally with my whole heart and soul. My love is unquestionable and undeniable. Free-spirited people like to wander through life, constantly searching for a deeper meaning of themselves. I like to get lost in my thoughts. Sometimes being lost gives me a new sense of direction. I'm always trying to find new ways to improve myself and improve my creative mind to inspire others. I stare at life straight in the eyes. I take everything as it comes. The things I've been through have made me a stronger person. I believe something good is always waiting around the corner. Optimism is food for the soul. I'm always looking for that one tiny miracle that will change things for the better. A gypsy soul tries to have a positive outlook on life, keep positive people around them and always keep a positive vibe. Brooke Hampton writes, "I like stormy nights and full moons. I like wolves and wild waters. I like to wander and I like adventures. I like unpredictable kisses and conversations full of unexpected truth. I like things that have a soul. They make me feel free." Emotions are my guideline. I often overthink things, however, I'm extremely considerate of other people's needs without neglecting my own. I'm very empathetic, but the downside to being such an emotional person is that I get hurt easily. You will find this in anyone who has a free spirit and a gypsy soul full of love to give. Free-spirited people are very unique. They're not like anyone else because everyone else is taken! God made us to be ourselves and to be our OWN PERSON. I have my own ideas and dreams, and I follow my own path. I create my own unique style in every aspect of my life and I don't seek out other people's acceptance. To me, what you see is what you get. If you have all of this, then it means that you love YOURSELF. I don't mean in an egotistical way, but being comfortable in your own skin. Pursuing the things that make you happy and fulfilled inside. Part of being a free-spirited gypsy soul means taking responsibility for your own action and setting yourself free from anything that will hold back your dreams and aspirations. Your family and friends will keep you grounded, but will not squash WHO you are. Have no fear of testing the waters. Testing the limits of your comfort zone is a pretty strong sign that you are a free spirited person. It's about all of life's challenges and making the most out of every situation. Marching to the beat of your own drummer might take some time, but it's well worth the journey when you finally get there! It's like you are grooving to your own rhythm. It can take years to find that "thing" that really feeds your soul. So when you find it, you shouldn't have to limit your enjoyment and pleasure of it. Sometimes I find myself writing at 3:00 in the morning — and that’s OK. Writing that perfect blog or poem brings me excitement and it is exhilarating for me! Feel free to explore, discover, and enjoy whatever interests you. Get crazy with your ideas! Being a free spirit means you have your own passions and your OWN world to enjoy. Do things because they make you happy however weird or wacky they seem to others. The term FREE SPIRIT often conjures ideas of hippies and flower girls, but a free-spirited person is very kind, considerate, and loving — someone who connects deeply with the world and the people who live in it. They are pulled into the direction of their heart — a force that never leads them astray. They have strong values and opinions about life. How much of a free spirit and gypsy soul do you have in you?
