ik that braley is the most iconic friendship on the show but like brachel was actually such a good enemies to best friends storyline and was an important moment of growth for both characters/an example of brooke helping to bring out the good in rachel and they actually loved/supported one another in their own weird way and acted like sisters so i can't believe the show ruined such a good thing

hi! i'm loving reading all of your thoughts on oth and i agree with everything. are there any brooke ships that you especially like? my takes on the topic are that i do adore brulian. great relationship and what she deserved after everything she went through. but at the same time i was never particularly invested or cared that deeply. brucas was fucked in so many ways but i can't not pretend that i don't know some of their scenes by heart to this day lmao. also breyton and brachel!! <3

Oh wow, thank you so much, that means a lot to me! Personally I'm in the same boat as you. from what I've seen of Br*lian (admittedly I didn't watch all the later seasons) they're cute as fuck, but some things rubbed me wrong in the storytelling a little. Mostly that he used to love Peyton? Like wtf they couldn't give Brooke one guy that she really loved that didn't also fuck her best friend? Like ... why... why did they do that? Why do all story lines have to have a Peyton angle with her? She's Brooke Fucking Davis, no one in their right mind is thinking of someone else with her - also they try to play it off like Brooke and Julian wouldn't have met like... that's her best friend??? I also had such a thing for Br*cas in seasons two and three. Like damn, their chemistry? So good, but again, Lucas is a trash human that could not come close to being enough for Brooke Davis. She is a queen. I'm semi convinced that Breyton are soulmates, and my Breyton loving ass was so jealous of Braley and Brachel, but Brooke and her girls are all iconic and I love that she has women who love and support her. My queer self would also have LOVED Brooke with a girl that deserves her. As for who my otp with Brooke is? I guess I don't have one that isn't Breyton tbh. Lucas doesn't deserve her, Julian is super cute with her but they aren't in my otp status, and honestly the only guy written on the show that loved Brooke for exactly who she was, is Mouth. But she very obviously didn't feel the same and I don't think Nice Guys just deserve to get the girl cause they're good human beings. Brooke deserves like epic movie person who would burn down or build up the world for her depending what she wants kinda love. She's literally an angel.
