January BoxyCharm Unboxing

This post is super exciting to me because this is my very first BoxyCharm ever. I've been wanting to try BoxyCharm for awhile but since I already had Ipsy I wasn't sure whether I wanted two subscription services. After much thought I decided I would give BoxyCharm a try and if I like it, I'll probably switch. Anyways, let's talk about what I got in my BoxyCharm Box.

Crown Brushes Soft Fan Brush - I thought it was funny when I saw this in the box since I just ordered a fan brush from Wet N' Wild but this one does look like it might work pretty well. It especially looks like it will work well on the bridge of my nose and the cupids bow so I'm looking forward to trying this.

Vintage Highlighter Double in Chocolate Diamond and Rose Quartz - I've never heard of Vintage Cosmetics before but this highlighter duo looks beautiful. I was a little disappointed when I opened this up because the Chocolate Diamond powder had cracked and was starting to come out of the pan. However, because the formula is so soft and buttery all I had to do was press it back into the pan and it was good. It does look a little messy but it swatched perfectly fine so that was good. After swatching these shades I'm not sure if I will able to Chocolate Diamond as a highlight, but I think it would be a beautiful inner corner highlight or even an eyeshadow. Rose Quartz, however, will make a beautiful highlight on my skin tone so I'm super pumped to try this highlighting duo and I hope the formula performs well.

PUR Chateau Cheek Stain: Blush Tint and Brush duo in Cabernet - I don't love cheek stains because a lot of the time they end up being too pigmented for me but this shade is really pretty and it sheered out well when I swatched it so I would say I'm pretty excited to try this.

Adesse Ultra Suede Matte Top Coat - I actually needed a new matte top coat so this is really good timing. I've never tried Adesse before but I have heard good things about this brand so I'm excited to try this too.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray - I'm so picky about dry shampoo and I have yet to find one that I really love so I'm always ready to try a new one. This has a pleasant lemony smell to it and it seemed to minimize the oils in hair because of course I already sprayed this on my hair so I'm hopeful about this one.

As with Ipsy, I will let you guys know my thoughts on the products at the end of month. I will also let you guys know what I decide whether it's to stick with Ipsy or give BoxyCharm a try for awhile. Anyways, that's it for this post, next up will a mini Sephora haul so until my next post.

Yay!!! I finally got my @boxycharm for the month! I love everything even though I'm allergic to the @glowforacause since it contains coconut oil. Good thing I have charmer friends that I can trade products with! I would have to say my favorite product is the @vintagecosmetics Chocolate Diamond and Rose Quartz Highlighter!! It's super pigmented and it makes my highlight look flawless! I can't wait to try th it @adesse_ny ultra suede matte top coat. My nails are prepped and ready to go for that matte finish! I love how @boxycharm is always thinking 2 steps ahead when it comes to designing boxes each month. The @sosusancosmetics fan brush is a must have when using the @vintagecosmetics highlighters.
