I’m still not sure when I crossed over from just Halloween costumes to actual cosplay, but I started this cosplay account 5 years ago today! 💖🎉 I only really have three cosplays that I’ve redone over the years: Aziraphale, Fluttershy, & “random Hogwarts student.” The picture on the left is my first version of Aziraphale from 2017 (picture is from @t2comiccon, although I first wore this to @syracusecomiccon). This was mostly a closet cosplay based on the book as the only thing I made was the bow tie & the only thing I thrifted was the coat. (The shoes, skirt, & Oxford shirt were from my closet.) I typed up Agnes Nutter’s prophesies from the book & pasted them inside a purchased leatherette journal and wrote the title on the cover with gold Sharpie (I should repost those pictures). The picture on the right is the most recent version, based on the miniseries & debuted at Salt City Comic Con 2019. Updates: purchased a blue Oxford shirt specifically for this cosplay, made my third bow tie, added the pocketwatch (given to my family by a family friend), & made the the frock coat & waistcoat. 💖😇📚☕️ Next updates for Aziraphale: I want to make a skirt instead of always borrowing my mum’s trousers! Also, I need to find a women’s waistcoat pattern so it fits better (& actually learn how to make the welt pockets).
