{Eternal Servants AU} Wukong & Macaque ♡ Obedience

Art drawn by me + the OC is mine... Also the mentioned OCs and the AU itself.

My LMK AU's first ever fic, lezgooo- :D

This one's mainly just showing off the relationship between the monkeys as well as the Reader. The AU actually does feature some input from that one OC group of mine, even if they mostly operate in the background. Some of them do occasionally show up. It wouldn't be one of my universes if they had no input since they're all connected by this group of individuals... A good example would be CM from Castle's Pet, if any of my ancient old Quotev/Wattpad Undertale X Reader fans are reading this.

[TL;DR] Just your monkeys being wholesome while murdering another demon.

♡ ~ Fluff ~ ♡

Seated on your throne, you sighed as you waited for your purple champion's return. You sent out Macaque to retrieve an ancient artifact a demon stole from your palace's storage. Usually it wouldn't take him long to hunt someone down. After all, he was used to tracking down any that would oppose you and would bring them to justice. However, something must've happened since he obviously wasn't back yet. This was highly unusual for either one of your champions.

'Did he get into an accident?', you thought to yourself, now getting worried.

Your blue champion seemed to notice your sudden change in mood. He didn't even need to feel it through your eternal bond, he could just tell by looking at your concerned expression. He leaned down a bit as he obediently stood next to your throne, looking at you with his void black eyes. "Master, is something bothering you?"

You turned your head a bit to look at him. "It's just... Where's Macaque?"

"Unfortunately, I'm not sure whether or not he's still occupied with the thief." He responded flatly with little to no emotion. You hummed in thought for a moment before you turned to face him again.

"Wukong, I want you to check up on your brother... Help him if he needs help, but at least just make sure he's not hurt or anything." You said firmly. The monkey in blue moved in front of you and bowed.

"As you wish, Master."

And with that, he summoned his somersault cloud and hopped onto it before swiftly flying off into the direction of where his sworn brother left to hunt down the thief.

Across the land, a giant smoke monster could be seen fighting a giant demon in green and black. It seemed like a tough battle as the demon the monster was fighting was very aggressive and wild in its attacks. When suddenly, a blunt hit to the back of the green and black demon slammed the demon in green and black face-first into the ground of the clearing they were fighting in. Its body created a giant crater. It was still alive, but just barely as it laid there motionless. It seemed like the battle already weakened it and the blow to the back was too much for it to handle.

The simian piloting the giant smoke monster panted a bit from exhaustion as he smiled darkly at the fallen demon. But then he turned towards the direction of his ginger-furred brother, who was standing on his cloud with crossed arms, and huffed. "Thanks, but I could've taken him down on my own. It just would've taken a bit."

"Master told me to make sure you weren't hurt." Wukong stated as-a-matter-of-factly.

Macaque's smile turned from maniac to apologetic as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, with his giant smoke avatar mirroring his motion. "Oh man, did I take too long again? I didn't mean to make them worry... I just kinda got caught up with stopping the thief. He used the artifact he stole and it turned him into a feral titan." He added as the giant smoke monster gestured towards the other demon on the ground. That's when the monkey on the cloud quickly zoomed down towards the unconscious demon's body. It took him a few seconds, but he quickly spotted the artifact hanging from the titan's satchel. After he took it away from the giant demon, the demon's body seemingly shrunk back to its original size, still unconscious in the ginormous crater. The simian carefully held onto the artifact, as to not accidentally trigger its power, before his cloud flew back to his sworn brother. After Macaque saw the other demon's now normal-sized body, his smoke monster avatar disappeared around him as he stretched with his feet now touching the ground again.

He grinned at the ginger-furred monkey, seeing him hold the artifact the thief stole. "Guess now we also know what thing does... Did Master say anything about wanting us to kill the guy, or to place him in the punishment wing?"

Wukong shook his head in response, his face still not holding any emotion. Macaque sighed. "Well, damn... But I guess we might as well end him now than risk having him try to steal again, right?" He chuckled as he slowly walked towards the unconscious demon's body. The dark-furred monkey gave the demon a wicked grin, not expecting a response as he summoned his shadow staff. "Nothing personal, dude. Just making sure our beloved Master is forever safe and comfortable! Any who are at risk of opposing them in any way must be eliminated..."

And with that, he smashed his staff's thorny end down onto the demon's head, ending his life with one last strike. Wukong just gave the corpse a bored look before he uncrossed his arms. "Do you need a ride back?" The Monkey King asked, referring to Macaque's exhaustion after battle. He could just help the other monkey relax and calm down with his somersault cloud, after all.

However, Macaque just waved his hand dismissively as he took a deep breath. "Nah, but thanks. I'm a bit tired, but not enough to stop me from using my powers. Do you want a ride back though?" He grinned before he summoned a shadow portal on the ground next to himself. Wukong's mouth just faintly twitches upwards for a split second, but it was enough to make his the dark-furred simian chuckle in repsonse. "C'mooon, bud~ We both know my method's faster! Just hop in already!" If Wukong's eyes weren't like a fully black void, his playful eyeroll would've been very much noticeable. He hopped off his cloud, letting it disappear as he approached the portal, straight up jumping into it. Macaque soon followed after, closing the portal once he went through.

On the other side, you anxiously waited on your throne. While you didn't think any of your regular servants would harm you, you still felt a bit uncomfortable without at least one of your champions around. After all, a human ruling over an army of demons wasn't exactly a common thing demons respected. Only those who were already your servants in other lives would respect you fully... probably. And you had no recollection of any of your previous lives.

Your anxiety faded however once your two blue and purple champions emerged from a shadow portal in front of your throne. The sworn brothers didn't hesitate and kneeled upon seeing you.

"Apologies for the wait and for worrying you, Master. The thief ended up using the artifact and I ended up having to fight him to stop him." Macaque says, somewhat sounding ashamed of himself. He didn't like it whenever he didn't meet his Master's expectations. Even if something was out of his control.

You smiled softly as you leaned back. "It's fine, Mac-Mac. It was inevitable if that guy refused to face justice... I'm just glad you're alright and came back to me alive and well." The simian's frown turned into a bright smile as his tail swayed happily behind him. If you used that nickname for him, then he must've done everything right!

Afterwards, you smiled at your blue champion. "Thanks for finding him and taking him home again, Wu-Wu. Great job." You praised him. Now his tail was also swaying more happily. He nodded his head and grunted quietly in acknowledgement. Despite him not talking quite as much as his brother, and usually not showing emotions, you knew he was just as happy and content as your purple champion. His gentle tail sways were enough to understand.

The ginger-furred monkey then pulled out the artifact from underneath his cloaked side, still kneeling as he stared at you expectantly. "Shall I return this to the storage? The Archivist wanted to check on the items later today."

You scratched your head in thought for a moment as you hummed. "Guess that would be the best idea... If the Archivist shows up, then it's best if we have all the items that we borrowed... I don't wanna deal with his colleagues again, to be honest." You admitted, physically cringing a bit at the memory of your last encounter with the group the Archivist was involved in. They weren't happy when an eternal branding iron you used on your servants was stolen. Especially the Judge...

Wukong, knowing what you meant, nodded again as he stood up and bowed his head. "Of course, Master." Then he turned and walked away towards the palace's storage. Meanwhile, Macaque continued to smile brightly at you.

"Do you have another task for me to complete as well, Master?" He asked, eager to follow your every command like an obedient puppy. You hummed in thought again, but before you could respond, you heard the familiar voice of a certain mysterious figure in a black cloak and a fox-like mask...

"They do not. I have a task for you instead, Six-Eared Macaque."

The cloaked entity with the fox mask revealed himself as he walked out from behind your throne... When did he get here? Then again, he was one of the Archivist's colleagues, so you didn't question much anymore due to all they were able to do... You raised a suspicious eyebrow at the masked entity as you spoke. "...What task?" Those cloaked beings weren't to be trusted with how they operated. And while the Oracle usually spoke of the truth and was one of the more gentle-sounding members, you could never be sure whether or not there was malice behind anything their group did.

He responded in a blank tone, as if it were obvious. "The task involves going to the Underworld and retrieving the Scroll of Memory." Macaque visibly flinched slightly as one of his ears twitched at the mention of the Underworld, yet he avoided eye contact and remained quiet. The masked entity continued. "It's not the scroll itself that you might be interested in, but rather the curse that is bound to the scroll. That curse would be an extremely great addition to your palace's security." The entity added.

You grimaced a bit in thought, looking at him with uncertainty as you propped up your head on your hand. "Mhm... Are you sure this is worth it? Macaque isn't exactly fond of the Underworld, and I don't wanna make any of my servants, especially my champions, uncomfortable... Maybe Wukong could-" "NO!" Your purple champion suddenly cut you off as he looked at you, his void black eyes were wide open in panic, practically begging you to hear him out. He coughed awkwardly before bowing his head in a bit of shame and embarrassment for cutting you off.

"M-My apologies for interrupting you, Master... But I'd like to take on this mission myself, if I may." He said firmly, determination clear on his face as he tried to avoid this uncomfortable feeling of having to return to the Underworld. But he really wanted to prove himself worthy as one of your champions. He outwardly expressed his love and devotion towards you so much more than his sworn brother, and yet Wukong usually ended up getting more missions than him despite that.

You gave him a concerned look. "Are you sure? I know you don't like the Underworld after... Well, you know..."

He nodded his head without hesitation. "Yes, Master. Please let me retrieve that scroll for you."

After another short moment of uncertainty, you sighed in defeat. You stood up and moved towards your purple champion, petting his fluffy head. "Alright, fine... But if anything makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, I want you to just come back... Okay? I don't want you to get hurt, Mac-Mac. I'd rather have you here with me without that scroll than have the scroll without you." You said softly as you kissed his forehead. The dark-furred monkey blushed as his breath hitched at your touch and words.

That was all the motivation he needed.

His bright smile returned as he joyfully saluted. "Yes, Master! I'll make you proud!" You chuckled at his sudden eagerness. Almost immediately, a shadow portal opened up beneath the simian as he dropped into it, vanishing. Upon the closing of the portal, you raised an eyebrow at the Oracle.

"...Is this scroll really necessary?" You asked quietly, to which the entity silently nodded. You sighed as you pinched the bridge of your nose.

"It's not just for your safety, Your Majesty. It's also required to garner enough attention for the future paths to be connected to the present path." He responded flatly, which confused you. But again, you didn't question his words due to his occupation. And soon enough, Wukong returned from the storage. The monkey in blue walked up to you and bowed, as if to say he had finished his task.

You petted him as well, also kissing his forehead with a little smile. "Good job, Wu-Wu." And just like his sworn brother, his tail started to sway in a happy daze as he blushed despite his still expressionless face. He clearly also loved it when you called him by that nickname. The Oracle, upon seeing the Monkey King return and being showered in affection, quickly bid you farewell for now as he still seemed to be busy with other matters. Meanwhile, you continued to pet the ginger-furred monkey, waiting for his brother again. You even decided to continue petting him while your were seated on your throne.

However, at some point while petting your blue champion, a thought crossed your mind...

"Wu-Wu... If your brother isn't back within the next three hours, I want you to go look for him in the Underworld... And help him out if need be." Wukong's eyes were closed as he leaned into your gentle, addictive touch, while his tail swayed slowly behind him. He simply nodded without opening his eyes.

"Understood, Master."

It's been days since you've been back and your father has you on watch with his most trusted demon, Kokushibo. Currently you and kokushibo were outside of the castle 'having a breather' as he would say.

"Koku, What happened to Akaza?" You asked as you followed through the darkness, He never said where you were going but you knew you were safe with him.

"I don't know." Was all he said as he kept his eyes forward.

"What about Douma?"

"Who knows."

"Daki and Gyotaro?"

"Red light district."

"Is that where we're going?"

"No."

"Then where are we going?"

"Wait and see." He flashed a small but rare smile. That smile quickly went away as you asked more questions.

It was like you were playing 21 questions and kokushibo's patience was gone.

"Enough questions y/n." He stopped walking and you almost bumped into his legs. "We're here."

You peek around his legs and instantly your face lights up.

"A FLOWER FIELD!" You screamed in excitement and took off running through them. It was as far as the eye could see. There were many different flowers, roses, poppies, lilies, salvias, and more. The night sky dulled the colors but you could see each different shade.

"Don't go to far, this place is home to civilians. I don't feel like killing tonight." He chuckled at your excitement.

"OKAY!" You screamed back at him with the biggest smile.

"And don't be too loud." He added as he watched you have the time of your life.

You played for hours with kokushibo. You put flowers in his hair. You convinced him to help you make flower crowns for the other uppermoons.

You made a Boquet for your father with every kind of flower you could find.

'he might not like it but I'll give it to him anyway.' You thought as gathered everything to get ready to leave. The last one you picked up was for Akaza, a flower crown with pink and blue flowers.

You hadn't seen him since you've been back. You that he's at the castle but you can never find him, you wouldn't find out about any meetings until they were over.

Whenever you mention it to Muzan he dismisses you.

"C'mon y/n the sun will be up soon." He held his hand for you to take as the both of you walked back to the castle.

Chapter 2 Isn't it Romantic?

Summary: SMG3 just wanted to make himself a nice cup of coffee before the work day began, but when he takes a sip from his freshly brewed coffee and passes out he will wake up to a huge surprise. Book sighs walking up to Three “You done? We need to put our heads together and figure out how we can fuse.” Heart bites a cookie humming while Spade waits till Heart isn't looking to steal multiple cookies. Noticing what Spade is doing, Heart giggles acting like he isn't looking “I know this isn't all sunshine and rainbows but we are here together! Let's head home, get some coffee and think!” Three sighs walking ahead of them not wanting to look at Heart, Book frowns noticing the shift in Three’s behavior as they walk back to the cafe.

Heart takes out a new keyboard from the bag humming “You think blue would like this?” Spade rolled his eyes. “Four is always on his computer. I swear that dumbass must be glued to it…so yeah he will.” While Heart and Spade talked, Book walked over to SMG3 “Feeling overwhelmed, or are you not a fan of having your heart open to the world?” Three bites his lip staring at Heart then he walks over to the table with his leftover coffee and tosses it in the fridge “That can't be a part of me, i mean SMG4 is such a loser me falling for him ha funniest joke!”

Book frowns “I think you should think harder about your feelings on this Original,” Heart turns hearing what Three said and frowns. Spade sighs, smacking Heart at the back of his head “If you're that worried then go show him why you're important, not that I care or anything about what happens. Just go, the idiot should be home.” Heart gives spade a soft smile before sneaking out of the cafe. Nervously he thinks of an excuse as a reason for the odd appearance as he enters the castle, there he sees SMG4 patting Beegs head with a huge smile. Heart could feel himself glow looking at the man, blushing as he approaches. “Um hey SMG4…” he takes a deep breath getting ready, Four turns around looking at him confused “What's with the pink?” Heart facepalms and groans doing his best to pull out a different trait, he crosses his arms “I made a bet and welp i got the shit end of that stick, look can we just not talk about my looks.” Four frowns before nodding feeling bad for his partner. He hums thinking of a way to cheer up the man, thinking up the perfect place he grabs Hearts hand causing the personality eyes to glow for a moment.

“I need to do some meme research, want to join me?” he winked at Heart causing the personality to blush, then he intertwined his fingers with Four surprising him. Heart lets out a smirk that stuns the other guardian “Why of course! I may not know about living memes but an afternoon with you doesn't sound so bad!” SMG3 was feeling done with the conversations about Heart, there was no way someone like that is a part of him. His chest started to feel warm, his mind was then swarmed with thoughts of SMG4. His smile, the smug look he gives when he knows he has you beat. Three was confused as to the sudden urge to run to four and pull him in for a kiss, his face goes bright red as he turns and finally notices Heart is now missing from the cafe. He pushes Book aside looking at the empty chair next to Spade “where is he?”

Spade smirks as he paints his nails “Where is who? Oh you mean pinky, heard he got himself a hot date!” Three felt a chill go down his spine, he grabs the straps of spades overalls “WHAT DO YOU MEAN!” Book runs up to the pair pulling SMG3 away from spade, once free the personality checks his nails to make sure the paint wasn't ruined. Book sighs comforting the upset Three “Original we need to grab Heart, people will notice your strange look and that can lead to some trouble!” SMG3 glares at Spade and nods “Yeah, we need to make sure people don't think he is me or at least belong to me bleh.” Book lets out another sigh unsure how he can convince the man that Heart is a part of him, Spade nods after checking if his nails were dry to slip back his gloves “Who cares? I mean know how many fucking people saw me?” Book smacks Spade “Behave! Are you aware of what would happen if we stay out here too long away from our body?” the other personality rolls his eyes as he opens the cafe door. SMG3 walks out the door, he was panicking he wasn't sure what that pink version of him is up to. He did have to admit that there have been moments things were a little on the gay side between both him and four but they both agree it meant nothing. His face goes red again at the memories as Book chuckles “What's wrong original, feeling emotional about something?”

SMG3 turns and glares at Book, the man shrugs seeing the glare “Look, Heart is a part of your emotions you can't keep denying it i mean look at you. I bet the igloo showed up again in your mind like it usually doe-” before he can finish he gets tackled by both Spade and SMG3 as they both yell “WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT!!” SMG4 was driving his forklift on the hunt for any freshly born memes while Heart was beside him humming a song. Four let out a soft smile hearing the hum, even though the man seemed upset earlier it made him happy to see and know that this ride was cheering him up “Feeling better?”

Surprised by the question, Heart panic thinking “Uh yeah guess so! I mean how can I not when you're by my side blue!” He covers his mouth, eyes wide. SMG4 hits the brakes and stares at Heart “Blue..? I uh didn't take you as a nickname guy, it's uh heh nice i don't mind it.” he blushes unsure how to take the sudden nickname. Heart hearing the reaction gave the man a huge smile making SMG4 mind go blank “Oh i'm so happy you like it!” While SMG4 missed the usual look of SMG3 the side he is showing today was a rare sight, he wanted to memorize that smile. Noticing his train of thoughts he panicked, the sudden movement made him slip off the forklift. He screams as he hits the floor making Heart jump off to check on him “ARE YOU OKAY FOUR?!” As heart ran over to SMG4 his hat fell off, Four stared wide eyed at Heart and the light was hitting him just right to make it look like he was glowing. Teal green eyes looking into his blue ones as the wind blows his hair, he never noticed how fluffy SMG3 hair was even in a ponytail. He stretched his hand out to him, a sight that felt familiar “Get up scrub we have memes to hunt!”

Four takes Heart hand, he pulls him up quickly causing Four to get a little too close as their noses are now touching. Heart let out a shy giggle as SMG4 was lost in his eyes, he knew these feelings well it wasn't the first time he felt this way around Three. This time though they felt stronger, flustered he stepped back “uh thanks..” SMG3 was looking around everywhere he thought would be romantic, that's when he felt his face heat up. His heart was racing and thoughts of SMG4 was swarming him “STOP! I HATE HIM AND WILL NEVER LOVE HIM LIKE THAT!” Book and Spade freeze from the outburst, the pair exchange a concerned look. That's when Book notices a stain showing up on Three chest, he leans in seeing the stain was purple and was coming out where SMG3's heart was. “...You need to accept the truth. How long will you push Heart away! Look at yourself by pushing your heart away, you're getting corrupted!”

Confused he looks down seeing the purple stain, he touches it and flinches from a burning pain. This meant nothing he told himself as he kept walking trying to find his last personality, Book glares at Three making Spade cross his arms “Book, if the corruption has started that means Heart is going to vanish right? And if that happens we are fucked to yeah?” Book nods looking down sadly “If we lose heart we won't be able to feel anything…we will be an empty husk..” Spade takes off his hat then takes out a photo of Eggdog and smiles brightly at it, he then looks up at three and casually shows the photo “Hey what do you think about this?” Three looks at the photo of Eggdog and softens then continues walking “It’s cute but we need to find Heart!” Spade looks at the photo stunned. Book frowns as he puts his arm around Spade “This is bad, we normally would scream of excitement how deep in the pit is original..”

Spade sighs putting the photo back into his hat “Get your fucking hand off of me,” Book lets out a nervous chuckle as he steps away from the man. Spade watches as the purple stain grows, he growls showing his sharp teeth as he stomps forward passing Three as he hunts down Heart. Heart was having a fun time watching Four take pictures of memes and writing down notes on them. Heart opens his mouth then freezes as he feels sharp pain go through his body. He looks down and sees the color on his overalls start to fade, his hands start to shake “Heh…still rejecting me…why…what did i do wrong?” Heart eyes start to water realizing he was being erased. SMG4 stands up excited to show a meme he found when he noticed Heart was shaking “Three are you okay?” Heart jumps hearing Four and starts to run away ignoring the man calling out to him. If he were to die he wouldn't do it in front of SMG4, the world starts getting blurry as he falls to the floor.

He could hear the panic in Fours voice nearby giving Heart more strength to get up and run “I…can't stop,” he then locked eyes with Spade running towards him. If heart didnt feel like he was going to pass out he would tease the tsundere personality for looking so worried. Spade dashes and catches Heart “HEART! GUYS I FOUND HIM!” Heart coughs and breaks down crying as he sees more of his color fade “Spade…i don't feel so good..” Spade nods patting Hearts head “Don't worry pinky, if i have to i will beat our original ass just know i'm not doing this for you alright? I'm just doing it because I would hate to lose my love of bombs.” Spade blushes as he picks up Heart and runs to the others, SMG3 eyes go wide seeing the energetic personality so weak and pale. The teal green eyes have gone gray, the rest of his clothing was slowly following. He reaches out to only feel sharp pain in this chest “AH FUCK WHAT IS THIS PAIN?!” he drops to his knees shaking as he looks at his hand covered in a strange purple liquid. Book slowly walks up to Heart and holds his hand “The pain is your heart dying…every time you reject him the more you reject having emotions. Heart is dying because you can't admit no because you're too much of a coward to admit the truth.”

Book glares at Three “I SMG3 Logic admit the truth that i am in love with SMG4,” Three shakes his head causing more pain, Heart eyes flicker red for a moment as Spade sighs his face turning red “I guess…yeah i could be in love with that idiot so what?!” SMG3 shakes his head making Spade angry “LISTEN FUCK FACE! WHAT'S SO WRONG HAVING FEELINGS! I LOVE BOMBS AND VOILENCE WOW HOW FUCKING HARD WAS THAT TO SAY!” Heart taps Spade letting him know to put him down. Heart eyes glow red as he gets closer to Three then smacks him “WHY CAN'T YOU ACCEPT ME! WHAT DID I DO WRONG!” SMG3 starts to cry as he suddenly hugs Heart. Spade and Book take a step back surprised, heart softens as he wraps his arms around Three. As SMG3 kept crying slowly the color was returning to Heart “I…what if he stops being friends with me…i cant..i can't lose someone again.”

Heart lets out a giggle “ Love is scary but remember what happens when you don't let me do my thing? We lost Terrance..and he never got to know we loved him like a son..please stop rejecting me.” he looks up his eyes looking into Hearts. He felt the pain slowly leave his chest as he wipes his tears, Heart gives him a soft smile starting to feel himself again “Honestly why are we so stubborn with our emotions hehe.” SMG3 lets out a soft smile “I love SMG4…i really do and im scared about it,” Spade rolls his eyes “Nothing to be scared of, not like that bitch can do anything if he does I BLOW HIM UP HAHA!” Three sighs watching Spade letting out an evil laugh. Book lets out a huge smile “I’m so glad we got over that, cause now we have a new problem. Wasn't heart hanging out with SMG4?”

“SMG3 WHERE DID YOU GO!?” Four was running around in a panic wondering where SMG3 was. Three and Heart stand up in a panic “Shit!”

You are a painter, and you are searching for models, for beautiful models. Then you see Brienne.

You were in your room, as usual. A paintbrush in your hand, you were looking at your most recent artwork. A month before, you had an idea, a brilliant idea. You wanted to paint beauty. But not the beauty of Margery Tyrell, or Cersei Lannister, who are conventional beauties. No, you wanted to find men and women with an atypical beauty. You wanted to paint the beauty of the damaged fields workers' hands, of the wrinkles on an old lady's face, of the soldiers' scars. That was your idea. And you thought not everyone would like it, but you didn't care. You would. And you were sure really art lovers would too.

The painting you were doing was a portrait of a young boy, with a scar on his cheek. You did the sketch today, in his house. You paid the mother who was not happy that her child was prevented from working that morning, but when she saw the money you could give her, she agreed. So you drew him. He talked about his life while you were doing this. You always loved this part of your job. You loved to hear your models personal stories. Sometimes it was amusing, sometimes it was touching. This time, it was amusing. He told you how he got the scar.

He was seven, and he was walking to the fields when he fell headlong into a bush. Leaves were stuck all over his head. In his hair, mostly, but also on his cheeks. And when he arrived in the fields, his goat (he had named him Eddard because he was a fan of the lord of Winterfell) ran towards him and ate the leaves, biting his cheek. Yes, of course, it hurt, but now the image of his goat biting him to eat leaves made him laugh.

And you came back to the castle, in where you had a room as the new lord's official painter. A big room you furnished with a ton of brushes, pigments each more expensive than the last, paintings bought from fellow painters... You really loved this room. It was a little isolated from the rest of the castle, and so you weren't often disturbed. It was cosy, with a large bed, and big dressers half empty because you were not really into fashion. It was on the top floor, and the floorboards creaked a little when you walked. You liked that sound.

But what you loved most was the view. You had view on the see, and you could see the sun rise every morning. The light was hitting directly the wall through your window and you loved how the shadows appeared.

You put down your brush. You needed a break. You didn't eat at lunchtime, and your stomach began to cry. You went out you room, and walked down the stairs. You might find something in the castle kitchen quarters.

You sneak into the kitchens and snatched a piece of bread. Nobody saw you, they were all focused on what they were doing. Then you went out, wanting to go for a walk in the garden while eating. But when you were in the corridors, you bumped into someone. Armour? Was it a guard? Shit, you were going back form the kitchen, a piece of bread in hand.

"I didn't stole anything !" You said immediately.

"Don't worry I am not a guard" She replied.

You looked up. She was a woman, she was so tall. And she was... Well she was precisely who you were looking for. Blue eyes, blond hair, pale skin, but unusual beauty. And that was what you found beautiful. In your eyes, she was Beauty.

"Perfect"

"I beg you pardon ?"

You cleared your throat.

"Hm, I'm sorry, good afternoon ser... lady ? I am Y/N Y/L, lord's official painter, and I am currently searching for models to draw them. Would you want to... be one of my models?"

"You... You want to draw me?"

"Of course, I'm working on a project, I called it 'Beauty', and I-"

"Very funny, lady Y/L, now if you'd like to stop now the joke, that'd be nice."

Her voice had turned cold. You were confused.

"Why do you think that's a joke? I don't look like a painter?"

"Oh, come on, you know who I am, don't you?"

"I-I am sorry, I don't"

"Brienne of Tarth"

Your eyes widened. Obviously she was Brienne of Tarth. Blond hair, blue eyes, THAT tall... And you knew. Some men were calling her "Brienne the Beauty", to make fun of her. That was why she reacted like that.

"I am sorry, if that sounded like a bad joke but it wasn't. I really find you beautiful. Well you are. Not in an expected way though. Trust me, as a painter, I know what's beautiful"

She was speechless. How could she reply to this? You took her arm.

"What if we talk about it in the garden?" You said.

She nodded. In fact she didn't know how to act. What if you lied to her to make fun of her? But she really wanted to trust you. Did you really found her beautiful? She had to know. She let you led her to the garden.

You sat on a bench, she was sat next to you.

"Do you want to eat? Turns out I may have stole a piece of bread."

She smiled.

"No thank you"

You bit the bread.

"Sho, like I shaid, I am working on a project, I want to paint beauty but not in the usual way. I already drew a sketch of a boy with a scar on his face, and finished a worker's hands"

"Why don't you choose a beautiful lady?"

"First : you are a beautiful lady. Second : I told you I don't want to paint the same people as everyone. I want to make something new! I want to do art!"

"You think I could be a great model?"

"Of course! You'll be perfect!"

She blushed. Were you crazy?

"So, do you want to be my model? I can pay you if you want" You said.

"No, that's okays, I'll do it."

"Thank you, Brienne! Meet me tomorrow morning here, we'll find a good spot. If you want to take your armour or sword, you can, and if you want to dress an other way, that's okay. Whatever you're comfortable with."

"O-Okay"

The next morning, she was there, sitting on the very same bench. She wasn't wearing her armour, but a blue shirt. However, she had her sword. And she was waiting on that bench. You were late. In fact you weren't awake yet. You had spent your whole night painting the boy, and you needed to sleep.

When you woke up, the sun was already high, and you ran to the garden, hoping she would still be there.

But she wasn't. She had leave the place, eyes filled with tears. You had lie to her. She felt so stupid to trust in you. Of course, no one would ever want to draw her. She was a beast. She was ugly. Why did people insisted on reminding her in such a painful way?

You felt so stupid for staying up so late. Now she probably would never want to talk to you again. And worst, she would think you lied to her. You kicked the bench.

"FUCK !"

Your foot hurt, but you didn't care, you had to find her now.

But you couldn't find her. She had left the city, as she planned this the day before. When you asked the lord about it, he told you he sent her on a mission...

And that night, in the dark of the room, you tried to draw her, from your memory.

Brienne of Tarth came back, four month later. You didn't knew that. You were too busy. You had just presented your project in one of the rooms of the castle.

She heard about it. And Podrick, who didn't knzw about the whole story, wanted to see that. He didn't knew anything about art, but Tyrion always told him art was important. So he dragged Brienne in the exhibition, not wondering for a moment why she didn't want to come here.

While Podrick looked closely at each piece (he was trying to understand), Brienne just walked into the room, eyes on the floor. There were few people, mostly noblemen. She sometimes took a look to one of the paintings. She recognized the worker's hands you talked about. She had to admit you were a very good painter. And she began to look more closely to your art work.

"Look, isn't this Brienne of Tarth?"

She sighed. Were they going to make fun of her now?

But when she looked around, there was no one who looked at her.

"Yes, that's her!"

She noticed the two men talking about her. They were in front of a painting she couldn't see from where she was. She came closer and saw the piece.

That was her. You drew her portrait. Brienne was confused. She looked so beautiful on it. She wasn't sure she was exactly like that for real. Then she saw little note next to it.

The only painting I made without a reference. Actually I was late at our meeting and when I came she wasn't there anymore so I had to do this one from my memory. Brienne of Tarth, my model, is exactly the kind of beauty I was searching for. She does not fit the beauty standards, but she carries grace and strength. She embodies the essence of my project. Beautiful, but only for those who open their eyes.

She looked again at the painting.

"I didn't know you were a model" Podrick said.

"Me neither. I just discovered it."

In the evening, you went to the garden for a walk. You were thinking about Brienne. You felt so sorry for her. You walked to the bench you were to join her.

She was there. She was sitting on the bench. You heart warmed up as she waved to you. You sat next to her.

"Good evening, I'm glad you aren't mad at me."

"Well to be honest I was. But I saw the portrait you made of me."

"Oh, really? Did you thought it looked like you?"

"Yes but... I'm not that beautiful"

"You are. And if you don't like it, no worries. I can draw you tomorrow morning. I promise I won't be late."

I think this is probably more what Cissy looked like at the beginning of her sickness. I don't quite know how to draw her as she was at the last.

Was able to create these redesigns while we had nothin to do in classes. Im tryin to slowly make myself fall in love with art again and my hyperfixation on mlp redesigns are helpin me do that >:'] ...and oh boi this is gon be a long post feel free to read my rewrites ehe

I had so much fun through the whole process for this one! (Tbh the mane 5 becomin more like semi ocs now) For my version, Pipp is more of an actress/performer who does multiple side gigs and hobbies. Shes basically the city's "angelic sweet girl" since shes known for playing a soft and whimsical persona, often doing her iconic closed in ears and faded voice to give a more innocent look for the public. Her attitude is no different in private but she forces herself to stay too positive even when shes in need of relieving some strong emotions. Im not a fan of Pipp being a stereotypical phone addict in the show so I instead headcannoned her as neurodivergent and needing a distraction everytime or else she gets all panicky when shes doesnt have anything to do, she tends to overshare info, forgets to rest, known to take other's spotlight away and dissociate a lot (especially when reading fan comments) Shes disabled and uses formed cloud wings designed by her sister.

As for her redesign, I made her mane to be more stylish as a way to show her expertise on hairstylin. Her tail and tiara is rose shaped to go with her last name "Petals". And her colour pallete is brownish purple and powdered pink to give her character a more softer feel.

Lmaoo I have a lot to say- Anyways heres an old piece i made for zipp Im still confused how to draw her hair patterns...

In my ver. Zipp is well known for bein hardworkin and intelligent. Shes not ready to be queen and often "slacks off" with her main royal duties but she organizes and fixes problems happening outside the castle by talking to the staffs. Shes extremely curious and learns a lot of random detailed infos since she was young which ended up makin her become great at managing situations happening in and out the city, which is why her mother is so persistent on makin her the next queen. Zipp is a solutionist and researcher but she only focuses on what catches her interest before goin on the to next. (Ngl all the mane 5 are neurodivergent to me) Because of how determined she is on those interest, shes made several secret places to avoid just doin main work. Her fav studies are chemistry, physics, cosmology, ecology and aeronautics. Shes mysterious to the public eye but her friends know that shes just a bundle of hyperactive mess once she starts discovering smth new. I assume og Zipp is secretly non-binary coded but for my version, shes a transmare and everypony already knows and accepts it.

I gave her a more light pink and blue green mane colour. Her bangs are like sherlock holmes' as to pay homage for zipp bein a detective in the series along with some side braids. I also gave her twilight freckles and tired,soft looking eyes (not only cuz shes a workaholic like Pipp but its also cuz of genetics)

Aight, I was never really a fan for givin the mane cast just one element and the fact that G5 series havent showed any mentions of it just made it seem unimportant. Soo I instead gave them multiple elements that the mane 5 will develop as their journey goes on. Pipp will be the element of Strength, Purity, Assurance, Control, Pride, Value, etc. While Zipp is the element of Curiosity, Determination, Potential, Wonderment, Eagerness, Persistence, etc. (I imagine if twilight would have ever come back from the dead she would most likely write down what their elements would be as she observes the mane 5)

Frozen nods/ Easter eggs in Wish

Now I had to make this post because initially many people thought it was the new Frozen but it's nothing like Frozen in its own good way. But I wanted to point out a few things that I thought were inspiration from Frozen. And that's given because Jennifer Lee is part of this movie too.

Note : This is not meant for comparison as to which is better as people have different opinions nor is it a who is better in characters either. Take this as Frozen Easter eggs if you must.

Queen Elsa and Queen Amaya

The thing I noticed is the similarities between Elsa's main icy blue iconic dress (In Frozen and the end of Frozen 2) and Amaya's gown and their personalities too. Queen Amaya is portrayed with a long braid, an off the shoulder dress with a layered middle slit on the skirt, a triangular or pointed waistline and two long see through capes and not too mention the pointed ends of the sleeves. Plus both are Queens. The skirt also has an upwards pointed design like Elsa's fifth spirit gown. Now I'm not saying this is a bad thing but just that it was clear Elsa was her inspiration for her character. She also has similar poses to Elsa as seen below and her personality is calm and modest as a Queen. If Frozen kept Elsa's fifth spirit necklace from the concept art then that'd be another similarity with both of them wearing necklaces/ pendants.

Amaya's design is honestly a very beautiful design and really gets me just excited for what Elsa's attire will be for Frozen 3 and 4. I'm just in awe of the dress structure too. I'm currently working on possibilities for that with Elsa's most iconic dress and her fifth spirit dress combining to one.

Hans and Simon

The other thing that I thought could be a nod and tease was to Hans with Simon. In my Wish review (previous post) I mention the good and bad sides to Simon's...

Spoilers below!!

... betrayal. In Wish, Simon betrays his friends and hands in Asha then the other friends. His friends call him a betrayer (I think it was). Then at the end after Magnifico is defeated, Simon apologizes to Asha. It was kind of a twist but I kinda saw it coming from the beginning and honestly not as good as Hans' twist despite him being the real villain of the movie and Simon not. In Frozen 2, everyone basically calls Hans a betrayer after he betrays the kingdom and Anna. But why I think this may be a possible hint of Hans' redemption in the upcoming Frozen movies, is because Simon apologizes too. Before I expand on that Simon does look like Hans with the shade of red hair too. But I know Hans won't be redeemed in the same way if he returns but I'm just saying it's possible that it's a hint by Jennifer (I know Hans fans would like to disagree but hear me out please) because I'm sure she has a sense of the story at the time of writing this.

I don't think it's right to compare Hans with Magnifico because they're nothing alike. Magnifico is self centered and loves power, in the magical and throne sense. Though Hans' movies appear as stealing the throne, if we read is backstory in 'A Frozen Heart' book, with the abuse by his brothers and father with no love or place it's kind of justifiable. Hans isn't self centered and wants the best for Arendelle even if it means killing Elsa to end this winter. Magnifico is a villain villain. Hans' has potential for redemption.

There's also a nod to Hans' “I love crazy” quote with Asha saying that talking animals and nature is crazy to which the talking mushrooms reply “We love crazy”. I loved it.

Also I guess you could say, or at least I take the red string used by Star as a nod to Frozen Fever with Elsa using a red string to guide Anna to her birthday tour of presents around the castle and kingdom for Anna.

Valentino/ Star and Sven/ Olaf

With Valentino being the goat pet and Star being the magical creation born, it reminds me of Sven and Olaf. Valentino has a mischievous... I guess you could say.. personality and has a low/ deep voice. Sven doesn't talk but Kristoff makes his own voice deeper and humorous to do so. Star is a magical creation born out of a wish Asha, the protagonist, makes. He also has a humourous touch to him and a bit of nativity to him given he was just born. Olaf is the snowman Elsa, one of the protagonists, creates out of a subconscious desire to want to be free with her powers and feelings to create a snowman. Like Star he is funny, cute and is naïve at times. Not to mention both duos are chaotic and fun together and are males.

Hello! I’m hugemilkshake and I’m a Cookie run artist. I mainly do X Reader scenarios and sometimes headcannons but here are my rules for requesting/asking stuff (I might add a master list later)

Do remember that art and writing takes time to do!

Stuff that I’m comfortable with!

- Fluff, wether that be romantic or platonic, i find that stuff super wholesome

- goofy silly things, asking silly questions like what’s my opinion on the color blue or silly art requests I really enjoy :3

- Yanderes, I find yanderes very interesting and I enjoy the concept, but not in an actual real life scenario.

- only gender neutral reader. I want to make reader as interpretive as possible so only gender neutral

- Fan art is always welcome!

- Angst, I might not be good at angst but I wILL TRY-

- Cookie run characters from games like kingdom, Ovenbrake and Witch’s Castle are allowed! Wether it’s a playable character or an npc I will do it!

- Stuff about my OCs. My ocs are very silly (sometimes)

- Child, evil, witch or mermaid, ect reader are welcome.

Stuff I’m uncomfortable with-

- Anything smut related. I don’t want to draw anything like that in any shape or form, flirtatious stuff is the furthest I’m willing to do

- Romantic Adult x Child for obvious reasons

- Stuff related to other fandoms I won’t draw or write unless I state so, but I can answer any questions about other fandoms, I just won’t draw it.

- Stuff that deal with serious mental issues like depression, I can do stuff for anxiety but that’s all I feel comfortable doing

- Anything super political. I don’t jump into that

- Don’t ask super personal questions like what’s my name or age. Just don’t.

- Hateful things towards people or groups. Stuff like that is not allowed here

- Things about religion are a no go for me, unless it’s for a character like pastry cookie, I won’t go into religion

This is the fourth in our occasional series featuring luminaries of stage and screen with a strong personal and/or professional connection with Northeast England, inspired with thanks by @robbielewis. Previous profiles were of Jean Heywood, John Nightingale and Edward Wilson. This time, Sunderland born actor siblings Malcolm and Catherine Terris.

Malcolm Terris was born on January 11th, 1941, boarded at Barnard Castle School in County Durham, then worked as a cadet journalist at the Sunderland Echo before training as an actor.

He was active on British television from 1963, his style perfectly suited to larger than life characters, and is possibly best remembered for his role as Great War veteran and salt-of the-earth union leader, Matt Headley, in 34 episodes of the Tyneside interwar social-realism drama, When the Boat Comes In.

His more than 120 recorded screen credits include a variety of British television programmes, including Fall of Eagles, Doctor Who (Horns of Nimon, 1979), Reilly: Ace of Spies, three separate roles in Coronation Street, Our Friends in the North, The Bill, and a regular role in Rockliffe’s Babies. His final appearance was in Midsomer Murders in 2011.

His big screen appearances include as ship’s surgeon, with Anthony Hopkins as Bligh and Mel Gibson as Fletcher Christian, in The Bounty (1984), with Ricky Tomlinson in Mike Bassett: England Manager, and in Dickie Attenborough’s Chaplin, which starred Robert Downey Jnr in the title role. He has also appeared on stage including in productions of Othello and in a Broadway production of Hamlet.

He passed away at the artistes residential care home, Denville Hall, on June 6th, 2020, aged 79.

Catherine Terris was born in 1948, and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She has been active in British television since 1972, appearing with her brother in seven episodes of When the Boat Comes In. Her other television work includes Z Cars, two roles in Coronation Street, Anna Karenina, Inspector Morse, Dalziel and Pascoe, Heartbeat, George Gently, and a regular role (15 episodes) in William and Mary with Martin Clunes and Julie Graham. She also appeared in the hugely successful feature film, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

According to her page on the Coronation Street fan site, Corriepedia:

"...On stage she has appeared in productions of Faustus, A Rite Kwik Metal Tata, Andy Capp, Tight at the Back, Rose, Tom Jones, Billy Liar, Queuing for Everest and Into the Blue..."

Her most recent television screen credit is In the Club (BBC 2014-16) and latest big screen appearance was in the 2021 feature film, Martyrs Lane.

By the Numbers update!!

With just over a day left to sign up as a creator for Fandom Trumps Hate 2023, here's a quick roundup of all of the numbers:

We have 705 offers by 527 creators (I've had to update this three times while writing this post!). Of those, 97 are offering to work in ANY fandom! The rest have signed up offering fanworks in 273 fandoms, including 177 write-in fandoms! (To compare that with roughly the same time last year, as we approached 24 hours left to sign up for FTH2022 we had 680 offers from 525 creators in 257 fandoms including 153 write-ins … meaning we have 23 more offers in 16 more fandoms by the same number of creators for 2023 … SO FAR.)

A look at the offers, broken down by type (with last year's numbers in italics for comparison purposes) -

The orgs selected least often are The Appeal, Razom, and Violence Policy Center.

In our listed fandoms Good Omens has increased its lead and its lock on the top spot. MCU caught up with Sherlock and Teen Wolf for a brief 3-way tie for 4th place behind HP and K-pop, but has since gained an additional signup to claim that spot, leaving Sherlock and Teen Wolf tied for fifth ahead of Star Wars, Stranger things, SVSSS, The Untamed, and The Sandman.
