Nothing will dispell the "the curtains were just blue" myth faster than writing something yourself, because the amount of pretentious symbolism i am putting in my silly little fanfics is ridiculous. I mean SO much with these words, literally every single one of them. This fic has twenty five typos and zero correct uses of punctuation but if there's curtains you bet your ass I put thought into what colour they were.

If a transgender person asks you to deadname and misgender them in front of certain people. Misgender them and deadname them in front of those people. It doesn't matter how icky or gross it may feel, it doesn't matter you'd rather be honest. It doesn't matter if there's more of you there. Certain people aren't safe, and honesty IS NOT the best policy when honesty could put them at serious risk. It doesn't matter if there's a crowd, because when there isn't shit goes down.

Be an ally, do what they ask. Understand that the trans person knows more about their situation than you do, and this includes who's safe and who's not. Some one can be "trans friendly" to other people, but not to people they know or specific people. Do as the trans person asks, yes it's uncomfortable, but it's 10 times worse if the person we don't trust finds out. 100 times worse if they have access to us when you're not around.

Respect trans peoples safety. Misgender and deadname when asked.

hey answer this for me- why are the settlers and civilians the first people who get hurt? why? you wanna know why? because israel does it on purpose. it's all systematically set up. israel systematically puts settlements with israeli people who are not soldiers RIGHT next to the palestinians, so if anything happens, the settlers will be the first ones to die, and israel and america can immediately put the blame and demonize palestinians even more. israel is doing this ON PURPOSE. israel doesn't care for it's people. they kill them off whenever it's convenient. they will do everything in their power, including allowing their own people to be killed, in order to make palestinians look less than human.

I know the whole kneeling motion was more to level the two. To stop Leo from looking up to F!Leo but... It seemed very symbolic. In the show the guys bow on their knees sometimes to show gratitude or respect.

The picture of THE HERO of that dead world bowing in front of our hero is such a strong punch to my guts. The selfforgivenes, understanding towards your past self... The mere fact he can be there to do that... The gratitude for making Casey's life normal. The opportunity to see his brothers again. To be with them again.

Scar's win has me feeling all sorts of emotions. How he admitted his alliance could have gone either way. How he continued to embrace being the villain but flat out refusing to kill Pearl until it really came down to it and the fight was as fair as it could have been. How he had so, so many chances to betray people one on one, and didn't. How jumpy and paranoid he was, on such high alert to every threat that telling Bdubs about Etho's death had him scared of Bdubs coming after him on a horse. How he still kept burning bases and causing chaos despite the flat out warfare going on. How he wasn't able to trust Pearl enough to look behind him but at the same time was only fighting her at all because his loyalty got him there. How he didn't realise he'd killed Pearl and kept trying to pursue her, thinking it was some sort of trick. How Grian of all people had to tell him that she'd died, and Scar had won. How shocked he was to realise it. How he stood there for a moment, just taking hits from that zombie. How he didn't understand how the guy with no friends had made it this far. How the villain, all alone, survived. And how upon approaching the Secret Keeper to succeed, he didn't die, not like in every other series. No, his task was renewed. To win Secret Life. Scar might have been the last one living, but he never got out.
