Cracks my knuckles. Here we go. Black Arms lore drop. (Headcanons, none of this is canon but shhh)

The Black Arms were actually called "The Dealla". (Which is "Protector" in Irish btw). They lived on a planet not far from Mobius, and lived quite peacefully. Many scholars and were ones to seek knowledge, as most of their planet structures were research and learning facilities. And areas to care for young.

They still were mainly carnivores but their planet had critters to hunt and areas to forage. And, they of course had a ruler and an heir.

Black Omen, was the leader of them and his son, Doom, was next in line. Very similar to a monarchy.

They were also ones to honor and celebrate just about anything. To a warrior gaining a title to a young one hatching. They also, while still having telepathy, had their own language and even music.

But one day, their young began dying. It started off as one that passed out in a field. Then, the days following, more and more children passed away. No one knew how, as they would get sick and there was nothing to ease their pain.

Then, their food sources started dying. Then their armies.

Confusion and fear spread rapidly. Along with hunger.

Black Omen proposed they leave, as they could not keep living like this. Thus the Comet was created.

What no one could guess before it was too late, that the one behind their tragedy....

Was Black Omen himself.

Seems the King grew more and more hungry for power. And released a poison on the planet. Doom discovered this and promptly killed his own father and led his people away on the Comet...But that day changed Doom forever and he was never the same.

Thus...

They became the Black Arms.
