Is it hilarious being Misha, or like... dismaying? Does he do it on purpose to throw the cat amongst the pigeons, or is it just a whole bunch of actual verbal oopsies that keep blowing up in his face? Is he a chaos mastermind playing us like all too predictable fiddles, or a delightfully inept, pure-hearted himbo with good intentions, pretty eyes and great tits who can't stop talking? Is there a secret third option? What is happening in his brain?
i swear to god if this news about misha being called by warner brothers telling him to pretend to be bi for the rest of his life gets picked up by major media outlets this man is gonna be in so much trouble with that company. and that company is gonna have to do some majorrrr damage control. nothing says ally more than trying to persuade an actor into pretending to be queer forever!
In regards to your recent post about the CW asking Misha to say he was Bi for financial reasons, I think they are getting it from a comment Misha said at a con...i cant remember which one will send you the link if I can find it. It was not too long after he made the comments that led to many people believing he had come out as Bi, and subsequently when he had to "come out as straight".
Misha mentioned that while discussing with WB PR folks about his statement he was going to put out correcting the misunderstanding, those PR folks DID make a passing comment of like "Well...would there be any chance of a world in which you DIDNT correct it?"
Misha said he quickly shut them down, and it doesnt should like they pushed at all besides running the idea briefly by him.
Thanks for the context. Let me know if you find that. Discord changed how you search and I can no longer search entire servers, so it's really hard to find stuff. They were trying to save him from any personal embarrassment, if possible, because retracting the statement caused a lot of embarrassment and was negative PR.
There were a lot of people on Twitter who weren't involved in the situation, who made similar comments. They said that they would rather try to date men and see if they might be a little bi, then having to put out a press release that they were actually straight.
That's why I find it hilarious when tinhats say that he was forced to retract it because of PR, when the PR move would have been for him to roll with it and pretend it was true.
Does anybody think Bigate simply happened just because WB were like "yeah bitch..be gay! Woohoo!" And Misha, who had all intentions of coming out, just went "Nope, gotta walk it back right NOW!"
Found someone yelling about Misha bigate in an unrelated comments section and I think I'm cured of my depression somehow (on a completely different site too 💀)
we keep calling it gay for pay but was there any indication that WB was planning to compensate him extra for pretending to be bi? maybe he would’ve been down if they went through his agent and drew up a paid contract
