#i think the csi job is fun but also it’s problematic bc acab #and his dad was a doctor before he got arrested and like #before it was retconned Barry’s parents were both still alive and around and happy #and if the retcon is saying that barry became a csi because of what went down with his dad when his mom died #then in the world where Barry’s mom lived it doesn’t totally make sense for him to have to be a csi #to be clear I still somewhat prefer his mom’s death but that’s for another reasons #in this world Barry’s mom died but it didnt take over his life and turn him into Batman #and he follows his dad’s footsteps and becomes a doctor #except idk what kind of doctor Henry was so Barry just works in the ER #primarily with kids bc that’s adorable. but it gives him a weird work schedule and allows him to help people in his civilian life and as #the flash which means a lot to me #idk #also it means that the JL has a team medic which seems important and I’m surprised that (as far as I know) #the only superhero doctor out there is Dr Mid-Nite #and Flash being the team doctor is great #because he can be on the scene fastest #and also means he can still one-up Batman which is fun #Barry finished (actually in this au he kind of speed-ran) med school and Bruce dropped out LMAO #Dr. Allen AU #need a tag for it just in case #the flash #barry allen #flash family #flashfam #my post
