ᡣ𐭩 ・tw : mentions of blood, wounds, bars, reader is a nurse, reader doesn’t rlly act like dazai is a executive, shorter than chuuya, NOT PROOFREAD
you quietly hum as you gently clean dazai’s wounds and wash out the blood, applying new bandages and handing him a fresh suit to wear.
“[name].” dazai suddenly calls you which takes you by surprise, “. . . yes ? how can I help you ?” “was-“ he started but paused again, seemingly trying to find better ways to word his sentence. “is there anything you would like to be ?” “like . . . to be ?” you put a finger to your lips, thinking of the things you like.
“I suppose I would like to be left completely alone for a day. no visitors or anyon-”
“no. i was asking a a new profession or whatever.” he interrupted, looking at you, a small smile on his face. you couldn’t understand what he meant by that.
“what ?”
“I mean, if you weren’t in the port mafia, what would you be ?”
you gulped, “is this a trick question boss told you to ask ?” “nope ! I’m just curious ! you don’t have to tell me if you don’t wanna~” he sang, swinging his legs back and forth on the medical bed he was sitting on.
”just put on the suit sir. would you like me to help you ? since you have quite a lot of wounds here . . .”
“sure.”
the conversation ended after you started to help him put on the white shirt, too busy with your own thoughts.
it still lingered on your mind after he left, not saying anything. presumably heading off to a bar. that’s what he told you these days. it was weird. how he would leave your office everyday after getting hurt to head to some place to go out with friends.
that was the word that struck you. friends ? not acquaintances ? it was weird. although you were glad that he has people to rely on now
but . . .
what you would like to be if you weren’t in the port mafia . . . ?
you wrote it down quickly on a slip of paper then folded it up quickly, biting your lower lip, you slipped it onto the now clean suit he has. he would most likely see it later.
even though it was dangerous, you didn’t mind. it’s not like you had anything to live for.
. . . . . . . . . . . .
dazai reached into his coat pocket a few days later, getting ready to burn it. but checked around it just in case before a small slip of white paper fell out and fluttered down the floor.
raising a eyebrow, he reached down and picked it up from the ground, carefully unfolding it. after he saw what was written in there, he chuckled, slipping it into his pockets then took a lighter and lighted the black coat on fire, creating a bright light in the black night.
in that slip of paper you wrote in one word, hopefully enough to not cause you any suspicion.
「 detective 」
cinna’s notes : both reader ‘n dazai r 18 in here !! :D the reason why reader talks with dazai so freely is cause most likely she doesn’t rlly care what happens to her + da fact that dazai threatened her to do so. he thought that she would be less blunt when she didn’t have any restrictions but surprise surprise ! she’s still as blunt as ever !! (●´ω`● ) might make a part two hehe

AN: looking to make this an ongoing series of one shots.
WC: 1.3K
Rafael hated these meetings.
He sighed irritably as he kicked up his legs on his desk listening to his boss on the speaker of his cellphone. He gently swirled his drink before taking a sip. By day he was ADA extraordinaire but by night, he was the underboss to one of the most prolific crime organizations in all of NY.
Playing Jekyll & Hyde with the law was exhausting, but it made him a very wealthy man and also helped put the “true” criminals away - pedophiles, rapists, abusers, dirty politicians and the like.
When Rafael joined the DA’s office, he was a pretty green attorney. When he met with McCoy, he learned the true nature of the DA’s office. McCoy was The Boss. Rafael knew the dangers and the risks and he could have taken a generous bribe to walk away and look away, but he decided to stay. He quickly rose through the ranks of organization, securing the utmost trust and loyalty.
McCoy was on a rant and Rafael nodded along as he took a long drag of his drink, finish it. He swung his legs off the desk and made his way to the bar cart, refilling his glass. As he closed the top of the bottle, he scanned his knuckles which were gashed, but scabbed over. In his position, rarely did he ever have to resort to fists but there was a rat who infiltrated a lower level and they needed to be handled.
The door to his office was open ajar and you poked your head through, looking around. Rafael met your eyes and he smiled, beckoning you in with a crook of his finger. You walked in and stopped at the cart, fixing yourself a drink. Rafael took your appearance in and his eyes darkened with lust. You were wearing his Harvard hoodie and thick thigh high socks. He felt his pants tighten and inwardly willed the phone call to finish.
Rafael sat back down and when you walked over he pressed a finger to his lips, motioning you to be quiet.
You nodded and sat on his lap, facing him. You began to press soft kisses along his cheek, jawline, and throat relishing in the feel of his five o’clock shadow pricking against your lips. Traces of cologne clung to his shirt, woodsy and masculine and you let yourself get lost in his scent. Rafael’s eyes closed as your lips trail along his skin before sucking against a pulse point.
“I am on a call,” he warned you.
You shifted your head to his ear, nipping at his lobe and pulling a harsh intake of breath from him.
“But I’m bored,” you whined. Your hand drifted to the bulge in his pants, rubbing. “Your call is taking too long.”
“Fuck,” Rafael muttered. It was growing more difficult to focus on what McCoy was saying.
You grasped Rafael’s hands and placed them under the sweatshirt and along your hips. Rafael is pleased at the realization that you are in fact, completely bare.
You unbuttoned his shirt more, revealing more of his throat. You nuzzled your face against him before you pressed more kisses along every inch of exposed skin.
“Having fun?” he growled in your ear.
“I am now,” you purred, rolling your hips.
His hands slid slowly down and over your hips and he shifted you until he had you flushed against him. His thigh is wedged between your legs.
You gave a purposeful roll of your hips against him. You gasped at the sensation of your bare pussy along his denim, gripping his shoulders tightly as he rocked your hips on his thigh. The meat of his muscle is a fantastic solid mass to drag against.
“You’re playing a dangerous game, princess,” he warned. His voice is gravelly and thick with lust.
You ignored him and continued to slide over his thigh, pressing down harder.
“Feels good, doesn’t it?” His voice is soft and quiet. “Do you wanna cum baby girl?” His question was followed with a growl into your mouth, a needful sound that found its echo in the space between your legs. His eyes were dark with desire. He tightened his grip on your hips, his fingers digging, helping to drag your pussy along his thigh.
“Yes,” you whined desperately.
His mouth is on yours, hot and demanding. His tongue traced against the seam of your lips and you opened your mouth to let him in. You easily lose yourself in the pressure and warmth, in the mingling of breath. Your tongue slid along his, urging. You wrapped your arms around his neck as you two continued to kiss.
A hand swept up to your breast, squeezing softly, before twisting and tugging on your pert nipple. Another slipped under the sweatshirt, sliding up your back, before sliding back down. His nails scraped your skin and you shuddered and groaned in response.
Your hands move back to his shirt, grasping and fisting, curling around muscle. There’s so much of him, and still not nearly enough. You continue to fuck yourself against his thigh, your eyes fluttering shut as your mouth opened slack, breathy little sighs escaping. Your motions grow more frantic as your clit drags against the slightly rough denim.
“I’m going to come,” you choke out.
Rafael pulled back enough to see your face, watching as you fell apart for him. Your lips tingle, your toes curl, and all you can hear is blood rushing in your head.
“That’s it baby doll. Soak my thigh.”
Your breathing is still heavy as you come down from your high. Your fingertips scraped the back of his neck as you pulled him closer and ghosted your lips across his. He felt the warmth of your juices soak his pants and his cock twitched.
“Let’s take care of you,” you murmured against his lips, as if reading his mind.
In response, Rafael hoisted you on top of his desk. You moved to remove the thigh highs, but Rafael grabbed your wrists. “Leave them on.”
McCoy is still blathering on but Rafael no longer cares. He unbuckled his pants and pushed down his boxers, his hard cock finally freed of its prison. He grabbed your legs, placing one on each shoulder.
You look up at him, a dreamy smile spreading on your face as the blunt head of his thick cock pressed inside of you.
“Take me. I'm all yours, so take me."
He thrust forward, your walls burning and stretching to accommodate him.
The moment was ruined as Rafael’s name was called by McCoy.
Rafael pressed a finger to his lips again and took the call off mute.
“Yeah Jack, I’m here.”
You struggled to keep quiet, your hands gripping the edge of the desk for dear life as your McCoy’s voice filled the room again.
“Will you be able to cut the deal?”
Rafael snapped his hips forward hard and you whimpered.
“When have I not been able to do so?” Rafael’s thrusts slowed a little and you knew that was your cue to be silent again. “I always close,” he continued, no hint of the fact his fat cock was stuffed into your cunt in his voice.
Rafael rolled his eyes and began to fuck you, but careful not to let the backs of your thighs meet his body, so there was no slap of skin on skin to give away what you were up to. Your eyes were screwed shut as you felt your orgasm fast approaching and you knew you couldn't warn him vocally while he was talking to McCoy.
The realization made you cum hard around him, pressing your first into your mouth as you tried your best to remain silent.
“I got it,” Rafael snapped. As McCoy turned his attention to someone else, Rafael hung up the phone. He gave you a dangerous smile as he started to fuck you harder and faster.
“It’s daddy’s turn now.”
FIN.

I can't believe there's Ango hate ;(( He's just a little guy! He loves both his friends, wears silly little glasses, he actively helps Dazai, who did very much put him in a hospital. Chuuya of all people manages to bully-manipulate him in DA, because he knows Ango feels guilty about DHC, even if he couldn't have done anything (though he tried!) He gives Ango closure before his leap of faith and says "It wasn't your fault. You tried your best." These two, making my bsd brainrot worse 😌
I know!! I really don't get it. :(
And yeah he loves both his friends very much, and the story emphasizes how much he values human life! His introduction and establishing character moment is exactly this!
Yes, absolutely I liked the acknowledgement from Chuuya, that Ango tried to stop it but didn't have the status or influence to do anything. As someone who also recognizes the value of a life, that only makes sense. I do have to wonder what their history actually is. They're both very interesting, with their affiliations to an organization that aligns with their exterior selves and presentation but contradicts some of their inner values. I also have a theory that Ango did not join the Special Division by choice, which would heighten the parallels... that's more of a "what if" theory though than anything bounded by sole rationality.
It's odd though... despite not enjoying the fandom hate I've seen for Ango I actually enjoy (?) the continued animosity from Dazai. Let me explain. I've already gone over why hating Ango for what went down is kind of irrational, but it's precisely because it's not rational that makes it so interesting to me. Dazai remains furious at him, and it's not just because of Odasaku. His anger began with Ango's betrayal in the first place. I will never stop bringing up how Dazai was the one to approach Ango. Dazai found him interesting and liked him. Dazai invited him to join them at Bar Lupin. Dazai has taken the initiative to "just hang out" with no other character in the series.
Dazai is angry because he is hurt, plain and simple. It's not just a betrayal of the mafia, it's personal. It's an emotional response. And in a book (Dark Era) whose whole purpose was to draw a dividing line between the Demon Prodigy and Dazai - that is, that Dazai does not, in fact, make all perfectly logical choices and will prioritize emotion given the right impetus - the continuation of this theme throughout the manga is a good reminder when we don't get detailed descriptions of Dazai's countenance or others' impressions of him in the narration. Moreover, I think it's not just Ango that's an issue but also that he brings back painful memories Dazai would rather not dwell on - remember that Dazai was the one who brought Oda into the Mafia with a promise of relative safety from the people who were after him. I would say there's likely a projection of self-blame going on here too.
It just really sucks for poor Ango, who already blames himself and ends up being regularly bullied and guilt tripped into doing stuff for him. I really really hope that the story leads to some kind of closure for them and that they both stop with the blame, self-directed or otherwise... They need it badly.
Also also! He's very strict with his subordinates but also good with them! And I am certain he must've had to jump hoops in Gaiden to keep everyone alive oh my god.
Wow, only decades too late to save good Soldiers careers. We had a DA select recruiter, an E-5 who was pulled from a Ranger Battalion to do freaking recruiting duty. He struggled through the 90 day probationary period, the Recutting mafia kept him even though he'd only put 2 people in the Army in in 90 days. The command went so far as to put contacts in the army under his code to make it look like he was producing.
They kept him as a whipping boy. Negative monthly consoling after Negative monthly consoling, an NCOER that was so bad you'd think this Ranger had screwed 1SG's wife and beat the Co's dog to death, then came the final nail an ART15 for art 92 violation, he didn't put anyone in the Army when ordered to.
He was barred from reenlistment, tagged with an R3, and booted out of the Army after more than a year of misery.
I hated recruiting, but I was good at it, it was 5 years of threatening my NCOER, no time at home, and being told to do unethical shit and when I refused to do it, total retaliation by the command. Ultimately it took me getting busted from E7 to E6 to get out and back into the Line units. That only happened because my Battalion Commander who was a former 18 Series saw I was being Rail Roaded by the Brigade Command team and shielded me from the worst of what they wanted to do.
Not one person out of the thousands I met in the Army ever said they joined to be a recruiter, not one, but the Army is all surprised when you take people out of fields they excelled in and put them in recruiting and they suck at it and somehow that is their fault.
Vive La Revolucion - Chapter Preview (Read the rest at ao3)
"Didn't we beat you the last trial?" Chloe retorted. But her annoyance was growing exponentially by the minute, partially because time was about to run out for her, but also partially because of his insistence. Chicago could be goofy and silly in the office, but he was good with his work and dependable. Why was he being stupid now?
Chicago looked at her exasperated. But if he had any counter arguments, Chloe didn't hear any. The police detective that placed her behind bars marched in at that moment to release her, "You're free to go."
"What?" Chicago looked confused. "How?"
"DSM dropped the charges on Ms. Beale here," informed the detective.
Chloe beamed. She was about to gloat towards Chicago but it didn't seem like he was paying any attention to her. If anything, he looked thoughtful. Here she though he might use this as a chance to drive home the point that DSM wants her back.
But then again, Chloe had hoped, her release was because of one Beca Bella.
And in the end, she had been proven right, much to Chicago's chagrin.
Beca stood in the middle of the precinct with a smirk on her face. She was wearing a light gray blazer, part of the collar that went around her neck made of a different black cloth than the rest of the suit, and a light lavender button down. She paired it with black pants and a sensible pair of black oxfords. She looked cool, calm, collected with a ready order of Chloe's coffee order in hand.
Chloe ran towards Beca and snatched the drink, twirling around to face her while sipping away. Beca's smug look became even more obvious when Chicago joined them.
"You're amazing, you know," Chloe commented. "And ready with my favorite 'dirty water' too!"
"Yeah, quite amazing," Chicago added dryly.
Beca simply shrugged as a response to Chloe's remark before turning her attention to Chicago. "What are you doing here?" she then asked.
"I wanted to work on setting Chloe free," he replied rather monotonously.
Beca nodded. "Well, sorry to waste your time then," she replied before placing a hand on the small of Chloe's back to usher her on. "Come on, we have a lot to catch up on."
This time it was Chloe who nodded, she waved goodbye to Chicago, who stayed rooted where he stood inside the precinct, as she let Beca usher her out.
"Seriously, you're totally the best," Chloe replied, linking her arm around Beca's own as they walked towards Beca's car. "How'd you do it? Did you make them an offer they couldn't refuse? Threaten to send them sleeping with the fishes?"
"Is The Godfather the only movie you've watched?" Beca asked amused.
"Well, it's my only basis for mafia activity, Ms. Consigliere," Chloe chirruped as a response before Beca shushed her. Chloe couldn't help but giggle in response to Beca's reaction. Sometimes she's simply too adorable that it's truly hard to believe that she's a mobster.
"No," Beca replied when they were safely in the car. "I made a deal with Luisa and delivered the DA and the state general attorney in exchange for your freedom."
"But Beca!" Chloe then begun to protest. Her freedom came with a massive loss to their side. Beca seemed unperturbed, however.
"You're freedom is worth more to me," she simply replied, keeping her eyes on the road, leaving Chloe a little bit speechless. "Besides, if they do help Babel and DSM in the end, I guess they'll just have to be punished as well."

Ok, so, it's not that I don't want to share impressions in DM, it's just that for all the 10 years that I'm older than you, I'm actually an anxiety riddled moron lol
Even with this, I know we speak the same language, but it's easier for me to talk to people in English. Srpski mi je nekako previse... personal.
But yeah, as far as the impressions go, I loved the episode, and it's been an emotional roller coaster, but it ended on a surprisingly happy note.
But yeah, about Jeff, so I'm aro ace, so a dude being hot isn't really a thing for me, nor do I care about personal lives or famous people, and so far I've only seen Ingredients which was more of an ad than a show, so he wasn't that impressive there. But then the more they kept showing 'Kim-the mafia son' going a bit berserk the more I started to see the appeal. He is indeed very sexy while beating people up. Also that moment when he slaps the dude, and the dude wobbles a little, so Kim mocks him for a second before slamming his head against the bar, chef's kiss.
No problem
I get you im glad you could see the appeal just a little haha ive loved him since the first time i saw him tbh
And the anxiety thing i really get don't worry i have the same problem
Tho i... I'm not really happy with the episode... I need more time to collect my thoughts but...the vegaspete ending even though i love the happy ending felt rushed to me...and a bit insincere idk... Loved kim beating people while chay plays and bukvalno sedi na baru kao chay nema pojma
Kinn... Like i didn't think he would like kill his father but the fact that he still doesn't doubt him and kept stoping porsche from killing him just...ugh
The whole mother thing.... I GET TIT SETTING UP FOR SEASON 2 but like i....im not....idk its not like i expected more just....bot that

So Rudolf has passed the bar. After some consideration, I think it might be better for him to work for the DA (District Attorney, the prosecutors/the state for those unfamiliar with American legal jargon).
This could potentially lead to an interesting story where Rudolf is basically Tod’s mole in the state prosecutor’s office. So like, two cops are trying to bring Tod down and Rudolf is assigned as the ADA (assistant district attorney) who will take the case.
The cops are trying to spy on Tod at the opera or the theatre or something and they run into Rudolf. Tod then appears and ‘demands’ (lol they were there together anyway) Rudolf’s company for the rest of the night as penance for his ‘minions’ annoyance so he won’t sue the city or something.
Brazil’s fearsome militias: mafia boom increases threat to democracy
Rio’s heavily armed paramilitary groups have exploded in influence in recent years to wield power over dozens of communities
The theme from Mel Gibson’s Braveheart filled the air as the man accused of helping spawn Rio’s paramilitary mafia movement was lowered into the soils of a graveyard called the Garden of Longing. Fireworks exploded overhead.
“My brother was a noble man with a magnificent heart,” said the dead man’s sibling, Natalino Guimarães, as he and hundreds of mourners prepared to say their last goodbye.
“He was truly a Braveheart. I’m a Braveheart. All these people here are Bravehearts,” Guimarães declared, motioning to the crowd outside the cemetery’s VIP chapel, many sporting caps or T-shirts emblazoned with the nickname. “We fight for the people bringing good and not evil.”
Guimarães’s “braveheart” brother was Jerônimo Guimarães Filho, a former policeman, politician and convicted paramilitary leader, who was shot dead in early August by a trio of black-clad assassins.
The murder made front-page headlines and ended a controversial life, nearly 11 years of which were spent behind bars for his alleged role in creating the Liga da Justiça (the Justice League), which would become Rio’s most feared paramilitary group.
Jerônimo Guimarães is now dead but his murder will do nothing to slow the advance of Rio’s heavily armed milícias (militias) across Brazil’s most famous city.
In the two decades since the Guimarães brothers allegedly founded the Justice League, such groups have only grown more powerful.
Rio’s three drug factions have earned international notoriety thanks to blockbuster films about gangland life such as City of God and Elite Squad. But experts say militias now pose a far graver threat to the city and – because of their political ambitions and connections, including to far-right president Jair Bolsonaro – to Brazilian democracy itself.

Cosa vedere a Tokyo? Dei consigli?
1)Asakusa e Tempio Senso-Ji
2)Shinjuku
3)Parco di Ueno
4)Shibuya
5)Roppongi
6)Palazzo imperiale
7)Tokyo Skytree
8)Tokyo Tower
9) Odaiba
1 Asakusa e Tempio Senso-Ji
9 Odaiba
