I have been wanting to do this text thing I had seen long while back for the longest time. But never knew how to work with it.  And it finally hit me.  Pidge and Bandor probably dating. And. Well. Pidge took a wrong turn somewhere.  I feel so happy to finally get this. And I love it.  Also. Look. I love Pidge with pointed ears and orange freckles. So I had to give her that look. Adds to her concern and desperate plea for help.

Voltron for the fandom ask

Shiro

Favorite thing about them? Well, honestly, Shiro’s probably one of the more likable characters on the show.

Least favorite thing about them? I feel like both fandom and canon tend to give him a flat character arc too much.

Favorite line? Form Voltron

brOTP? Keith

OTP? Shallura

nOTP? Shaladin, & most ships involving villains.

Random headcanon? Shiro’s grandmother is basically a one woman Japanese adaptation of Golden Girls

Unpopular opinion? If Shiro was going to die or retire, it should have been in Season 7, at the earliest. Then we’d feel the gravity of the loss. An S2 twist was alright, but 

Song I associate with them? Hunted by Steve Jablonsky, The Born King by Daniel Pemberton, Come Together cover by Gosmack, and possibly Broken Parts by Hollywood Undead

Favorite picture of them?

Allura

Favorite thing about them? I like how passionate she is. Whenever she’s being silly or sad or angry or whatever, Allura goes for broke.

Least favorite thing about them? Allura can be a bit of a know-it-all. Granted, she’s very smart, but still she can be pretty stubborn when it comes to admitting to be wrong.

Favorite line? Pidge is a what!?

brOTP? Coran

OTP? Shallura, though I also like unrequited Lotura

nOTP? Allurance

Random headcanon? Allura doesn’t have a bellybutton since she was hatched from an egg.

Unpopular opinion? I’ll admit that while aspects of Allura’s character arc in VLD were clumsy, I do feel that fandom tends to give her a halo. 

Song I associate with them? The White Whale Chant by Roque Banos, though I could see Angel with a Shotgun

Favorite thing about them? say what you will, Keith’s feelings of insecurity and lostness can be relatable.

Least favorite thing about them? Him getting shotgunned into the leader position rather than exploring

OTP? Goodness, I’ve got three; Kacxa, Komelle, and a secret one just for me until furthr notice.

Random headcanon? Keith can purr.

Unpopular opinion? Keith could have been a good leader of Voltron, but we never really see the arc of it. If it’s there, it’s kind of hidden.

Least favorite thing about them? Pidge can be kind of closed off at times... Look I’m trying my best here.

Lance

Favorite thing about them? I guess I like that Lance’s ultimate character arc is one of realizing the value of teammates over glory and finding grace through humility.

Least favorite thing about them? Lance can be pretty obnoxious at times. Like, really dislikable. And I know that makes him a good character, I’m just saying that I wouldn’t get along with him in real life.

Favorite line? “As someone who’s made a million mistakes all you can do is get up and try to make it right.”

brOTP? Hunk, Pidge, and sometimes Keith

OTP? Plance, but I also like Lirance from the Space between Stars fic by @thethiefandtheairbender 

nOTP? Klance. It’s just... not very interesting to me. I’m also not a fan of Allurance, either. No hate, I just don’t really care about them.

Random headcanon? Lance is Roman Catholic and somewhat protective of his faith.

Unpopular opinion? Lance can kind of be overblown, by both canon and the fandom.

Song I associate with them? One for the Razorbacks by Green Day

Favorite picture of them?

Really, I like any image where Lance eats crow, but I also like those moments where he’s like this.

Hunk

Favorite thing about them? Hunk’s a pretty cool guy, in all honesty: gregarious, relatable, understanding. Really he’s just a great guy.

Least favorite thing about them? IDK, maybe... fear? (I got nuthin)

Favorite line? The one where he said he had a family too in a really quick awkward way, when Pidge was leaving.

brOTP? Lance & Pidge, the other two amigos

OTP? Hunnay

nOTP? Everything else, I guess

Random headcanon? no headcanons. Only Gifs.

Unpopular opinion? The food jokes with Hunk could work. They just need a little better framing and a little less... tonedeafness

How does Chibi spend a peaceful stormy Saturday?  By drawing Bandidge! But! Swapped! I wanted to work with Altean Pidge and Earthling Bandor again as I had done before. While Pidge’s outfit is mostly the same, some minour changes, I completely redid Bandor’s outfit, though it does have some of the same colour schemes to it that his outfit did in canon. And! Suspenders hanging down!

Good gods, regardless of the AU, these two would be straight up adorable.

Not an exact redraw of this ancient piece, but it is based on it with partially the same dialogue. I had originally tried it as an exact redraw, but. I decided re-envisioning it would be better. And I'm proud. I love Pidge looking more shocked than weirded out. And Bandor. Look how happy he is. And. Uh. Ulaz? Please put that knife away, we shouldn't be scaring the child. I know you think no one is worthy to court Pidge, but still. Play nice. Also, Krolia's just shocked and caught by surprise. She's been hoping Keith would court Pidge, but here Bandor is just automatically putting on the moves.

Remember this fifteen year old revamped DotU Pidge? I had to revisit him when I had a desire to work on something bandidge and then thought of revamping Bandor. Now he has a full new outfit and a bit of a VLD touch with his marks. So.  Here I am now with them. From dialogue to scenario to Cheddar up on top of Pidge’s head, thank you @breadstickcat! You have provided so much help.  So! Here they are, blowing up something with way too much jet fuel.

Honestly? I love various ships with Pidge. But Bandidge is probably one of the cutest. They’re both fluffy haired nerds and deserve to be adorkable together.  Anyway, I was needing some Bandidge content in my life. Now, don’t be fooled by Pidge’s ears, she’s not Altean like Bandor. Her orange freckles are indicators that she is Balton (like VF, not to be confused with Baltoan, which is my AU where she’s a tiny cat person).  At least no one will comment on her ears being hideous (RIP, Lance’s ears). They blend well with that of Alteans.

Okay, so @breadstickcat had done an art of Pidge watching glowing butterflies. And it just had me inspired. I wanted Bandidge content, the two watching glowing butterflies. So, here we have a pointy eared and orange freckled Pidge with Bandor; Bandor is totally wearing a Voltron shirt Pidge gifted him, as suggested. And! Pidge has Bandor’s jacket over her shoulders! How sweet! There’s so much I love about this. But one such things is the fact that while Pidge is watching the butterfly, Bandor is watching her. He loves her.

“I want to show you something.” Bandor leaned forward, moving the plush lion from Pidge’s hands. He then took them into his own and focused. “I don’t know if this will work but...” He hoped it would. He didn’t have a way to practice first, but he had a slight feeling things would go well. He closed his eyes for a moment until he felt a sort of energy. A connection. Nodding, he opened his eyes and looked up to the sky.

“I don’t get it, what are-” Pidge trailed off as her eyes widened. She had grown used to seeing through Green and Voltron, she had that time on Olkarion, seeing of its past, and she had moments on the training deck with letting the team connect their minds. But this time, she was truly seeing, even if through Bandor’s eyes. “This is…It’s amazing.” Pidge smiled softly. Her eyes then widened when she saw a flash. It burst and sparkled. It was followed by more. Fireworks. She knew the sound well, often annoyed by it. But this time it was different. She could finally see why people were so amazed with them.

Bandor felt a wave of warmth. Pidge was so happy. He was able to figure out the ability, found he could use it, and he brought joy to her. He didn’t even need to look at her to know that; he could feel it through their connection.

Oooh! An excerpt of an MitD chapter go go with the art? Perfection! Anyway! I thought Bandor finding a way to use some Altean ability to connect with Pidge, letting her see through his eyes. And seeing the night sky and fireworks? Truly a wonderful night for her.

Okay. @breadstickcat inspired me to want to finish a couple of these. So. Here are a couple of Bandidge drawings from my WIP post lined and coloured. I didn’t want to shade them, so I didn’t.  I actually adore them with the possible kiddos. Look how cute they are! And one of them is wearing glasses!  I also adore Bandor showing Pidge the juniberry flower. With the AU these are from, MitD, Pidge can’t see. But she can feel and smell the flower just fine. And Bandor’s loving gaze has me. 

Anyway! I hope y’all enjoy the cuteness. And no, I don’t know what the kids would be named. Though assuming the baby in Pidge’s arm is a boy, I almost wonder if she’d name him after Coran since the comics show that she and Coran are close. Well, until next time!
