dracula daily really captured the inherent excitement and experience of the folks from 1800s, the story lovers who waited for weeks on end for the stories published in the newspaper. it’s something special to eagerly await an email knowing your ancestor probably sat in the same spot, looking out of her window, waiting for the postman to deliver the next part of the delicious story

1. Are you named after anyone?

Not at all and in fact my name is one of THE rarest in the world. And my name has a funny story. So, my parents actually had another name for me but when they went to get the birth certificate, the nurse couldn’t spell it all. My dad had the epiphany that if a nurse is having a problem writing the name, think about the other people! Now my dad loves researching and finding names so he already had a complicated back up and that became my name.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Properly cried a long time ago when my family had a bad fight. I do take a lot of emotional shits and shed a few tears every now and then.

3. Do you have kids?

Right now? Nooooo. Kids is a topic best left untouched for the next eight years.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

So much. Being the youngest sibling makes me a smart ass by default.

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Whether they’re looking or staring at me. I don’t focus much on people otherwise. Oh and whether they’re doing something funny!

6. What's your eye color?

Brown. It’s a lot like milk chocolate in colour?

7. Any special talents?

I’m great at copying. I can sing or pronounce or draw something if I can copy them. I also can use chopsticks quite great for someone who used one for the first time when she was 20 and occasionally eats with them. I can disassociate myself from smells, i.e., I can exist anywhere smelly without being affected much. I’ve been called for not flinching over truly horrific smells.

8. What are your hobbies?

Dancing mindlessly, singing, playing ukulele and singing, teasing Zubo until he starts chasing me, reading political or historical accounts like gossip columns, daydreaming.

9. What sports do you play/have played?

Please don’t talk sports with me. During PT, I played only one game (throwball) but I hated and will hate playing sports.

10. How tall are you?

5′0′‘. Being short and feral is a regular topic of conversation among friends and strangers.

11. Favorite subjects in school?

Maths because it made sense lol. English because it gave me words to explain things that I couldn’t explain with numbers. Biology but Zoology to be precise. Botany can suck ass. I like a lot of my subjects in college :)

12. Dream job?

A columnist or essayist. My forever dream will be to give advice to clueless people or write opinions on pizza or publish detailed essays on the urban legends.
