Everybody is posting their fullmetal alchemist and mean girls posts for October third but I'M babycatposting

On October 3rd, 2019, my babycat was found under a dumpster behind a pharmacy in small town Quebec. She was too malnourished for the vet to be sure how old she was (probably between 2 and 3 months) so we celebrate her dumpster day instead of a birthday

Child gets this lightbulb look on her face all of a sudden and cuts herself off before looking at me with wide, accusatory eyes.

"Art fight."

"You're supposed to be doing Art Fight right now. Go."

Recruiting my child for accountability purposes was a mistake.

can’t sleep but kittycat is really comfy snoozy atop of me so i can’t move either. vexing because i could b doing dishes or reading but wonderful because my cat loves me and feels safe enough to sleep on top of me (maple who lived in the box spring for six months after i adopted her).

something about having a cat. my little kitten girl who likes to sleep somewhere in my vicinity. I look around and see her, and she turns her head and looks back up at me and stretches one leggy out real far like just being seen is a gift, or if she's in the other room and I call her name, she comes running in with her tail up like Mommy! There you are! how can I not but love this sweet child even when (especially when) she crawls under the covers and tries to steal my spot in bed
