Raised in the same town, Angeal and Genesis were most likely pals from the very beginning! <3 They first bonded when itty-bitty Gen was trying to reach an apple hanging jussst out of reach. Angeal comes to the rescue, propping the little tumble of auburn hair on his shoulders and letting him pluck the Dumbapple off the tree! *sit-com applause*. Annnnddd they come crashing down from the lack of equilibrium. The two end up bursting into laughter afterwards, and Angeal hands his new friend his prize.

“You eat apple,” Genesis insists, smiling bright under the Banora sun. “You help me get it.”

Angeal has an even better idea. An even fairer one! “Nah,” he says, the two still plopped on the grass, “we split it!”

The two are inseparable after that, spending every hour of the day can they together. And despite it all they have very different personalities! Angeal is always throwing himself over Genesis, the auburn contrastingly always fussing about his hair afterwards and much prefers to express his friendship in vocal/written means. On the other hand, though, Genesis hates being alone too long. His parents are unfortunately not around much, busy and somewhat uninterested, and so he’s always sneaking off to Angeal’s yard to play. His parents don’t want him to hanging out with a lower class member of the town—but Genesis doesn’t care! He wants to be with his bestest friend. And Angeal is always waiting for him with open arms—literally!

Later down the road, the Sunday papers arrive, and on the front page they find a silver-haired teen slashing right on through a Behemoth. They’re astonished! New ambitions quickly blossom, a new dream cloud being shared between them. And many days are seen sparring in the yard with sticks and the occasional pool noodle.

This is Poko on the day I got her from the shelter 6 years ago this Black Friday. The shelter was giving away their cats and kittens, so I came home with her. :)

I can't believe she was ever small enough to nap against my hand like this. And I have tiny hands, you guys. :)

She might be my registered emotional support companion, but she has anxiety, so I'm her emotional support human. :)
