Top 5 One-Scene Film Performances (e.g. Viola Davis in Doubt); Top 5 Moments in a Cassavetes Film; and Top 5 Books!
making a list of one scene performances without viola on it is really hard (since you used her as an example, i'm excluding her here. just for variety) but:

I think John Cassavetes movies would be too sad for me to watch. Am I right? I think I am.
they are sad sometimes but they're SO worth the watch. i think a big theme of his work is confronting our own emotions and expressing them even if it is difficult, rather than avoiding or burying them like society kinda expects us to. so to that end, i would say even if you think it'd be tough it's still very worthwhile to engage with his art and just see how it makes you feel. there are a lot of happy moments in his films too that are worth enjoying, you just gotta take the ride to get to them

i have an essay i want to write primarily focusing on husbands which details and expands upon thee ways in which cassavetes attempted to express His own emotions and be as honest as he can while also struggling to express himself due to pride and a toxically masculine upbringing . husbands and thee making ov it is so interesting. john said they learned so much about themselves, many things they didn’t like, and i do think his ability to look his flaws in thee eye and understand thee pain he may cause with his crassness and impulsive nature and just. male emotional oddities and spend time with other men exorcising that lead to his ability to write characters like mable in a woman under the influence.
i think thee movie ending with john when he isn’t thee centre ov thee film, coming home to his kids who say moms gonna be mad, but he comes home anyways, is the perfect entrance to a woman under the influence. in many ways john’s character in husbands and gena’s in awuti are complimentary to e/o

Okay but important question, do ever watch an old movie and go "now that's what I call acting" and not as a slam against current cinema and actors but because there's just something so ahead if the curve even today about some of them?
oh, all the time. i don't have the time energy or stamina to like, get into my thoughts on the current state of acting, but like, i watch a performance like kay francis in one way passage or liz in who's afraid of virginia woolf (to a lesser extent cat on a hot tin) or like. bernard in sweet smell of success. jack lemmon in the apartment. celia johnson in brief encounter. gena in awuti. and i always go yeah no one they could cast today would ever have killed it like these guys killed it.

Lack of Skills Training Affecting Ghana's Market Competitiveness
Lack of Skills Training Affecting Ghana’s Market Competitiveness
Madam Mawusi Nudekor Awuti, Executive Director, National Vocational Training Institution (NVTI) has observed that the lack of interest of the country’s youth in skills training was negatively affecting Ghana’s “market competitiveness.”
She said the drive towards a middle-income status depended largely on maintaining quality workforce and called for new ‘love’ for skills training.
