So, I don't paint, I don't understand painting, whether on canvas or digitally, and I don't draw landscapes. And my grasp of color theory is about as strong as a Post-It on a wet railing on a stormy day.

But I tried one of Bob Ross's painting tutorials and What. The fuck. Who in the world was this angel of an Art Teacher???

Like. I made that!!! Following his instructions!! I didn't even know why the fuck I was doing what I was doing half the time! I was just trying to find a decent digital analog to the flat brush or fan brush or what have you. And he led me to digitally paint THAT!!!

I feel like half the reason crochet got so popular over the last few years while knitting hasn't had as big of a new following is due to the fact that it's not too hard to find good crochet tutorials, but all the knitting tutorials on YouTube fucking SUCK.

i believe this is my third finished model! and my second attempt at actually rigging things lol. i'm slowly getting comfier with blender, though certain aspects still feel like pulling teeth haha

my models are actually pretty 'ugly' (or is unrefined a better word?) in terms of topography, but i usually just screenshot the nice parts because i love feigning competence hehehehe
