Cress had an odd relationship with shame. It was stifling, suffocating, a constant noose she wore like diamonds, always threatening to tighten around her throat after every choice. But that was the odd things about shame, wasn't it? How it felt like a shadow. An echo. Always after. Always chasing, following, trailing behind. So when Cress spotted Ezra -- a surprising appearance at the Berry wedding, all things considered -- she felt the rope cinch, beginning to choke. She placed her violin down, stepping an inch closer, then a foot, until she was within earshot to manage a discordant note.
"Hello."

Since Greta is from the My Wedding Stories pack, I felt obliged to plan a proper ceremony, buut quickly decided that was a problem for Another Legacy Hayley.
Instead they eloped. And does building them a cute kitchen make them any less likely to wash their dishes in the bathroom sink? No, it does not.
