Astrid is such a buckwild character.

First off, she joined the enemy for shits n giggles. "Join the Avilion Alliance," Lord said. "Are you gonna let me trash my former comrades?" "Yes." "Dope. I'm in."

SECOND, she establishes that LoH has a post-apocalypse setting by being a video game nerd. Video Games are Ancient Relics, and Astrid's crop top is "antiquated."

THIRD, she's the fourth wall break character. Yes she will make references no one gets, yes she will refer directly to the Real Actual Player multiple times. Need a char to introduce hard mode after Everyone Dies? Astrid!!

Speaking of modes. She's the ONLY character to ever be Born Somewhere Else. Normal it's East Gallus, Hard it's West, Extreme it's fucking Lumisade. If there was a mode beyong extreme i fucking bet it would be Avilion. Astrid keeps getting closer.

And! She remembers all timelines so Lord doesn't collapse into a lonely puddle of guilt. Why her? NOBODY KNOWS! How does this random elf bend space time along with our dear protagonist? She just does.

I'm half convinced Astrid is an isekai protagonist and just not telling anybody. She got attached to these timelooping assholes and now there's no escape.
