I've been teaching myself how to draw lately. I've been doing about 15 minutes a day (almost) every day for a month now. There's some stuff I made I really like and some o really don't. The goal? Draw cute girls. And comics. Maybe comics about cute girls.

I’ve learned so many cool techniques and I’m not even done with it yet!! What have you done that’s creative lately? The background is Marabu art crayons activated with water and then I took a pastel pencil and drew this girl on top before grabbing my sennelier acrylic ink I got in an @artsnacks box and some @royaltalensna acrylics as well as a Posca pen and getting to work before finishing it off with some Gel pen! Posting this without a single clue if anyone on tumblr has seen it. We may not have much, if any recent tv or theatre roles from Mr Quast but here is an interview he did recently, in January, for all those of you who miss seeing him.

66 years old and still ruggedly very handsome. He always comes across as the nociest, most down to eath man. I just adore him.

This 48x48 inch acrylic painting is available through @2gallerypec in beautiful #princeedwardcounty. So I made a huge boo-boo. I ran out of a product that I need so that I can make new paintings. I normally purchase all my art supplies from @deserres but I was desperate to have it NOW so I ordered 4 gallons from Amazon and when they arrived the next day, I realized I ordered the WRONG stuff arrrrrgh. Well I contacted my rep from Deserres and low and behold they just received stock and will be sending it to me in the next two weeks. I have a few canvases here that I can work on but it’s distracting to know I have to wait until it arrives to start new ones.
