Washington-based gothtuber Adrienne LaVey (previously known as Ligeia Resurrected), famously also an opera singer and absinthe enthusiast, will be releasing her debut song, “Goddess in a Glass,” on March 5, 2023 in honor of National Absinthe Day. She said she wanted to have a song that doesn’t portray absinthe in the typical inaccurate way. From the clip in the video, it sounds very dark neo-classical. A remix by LA neo-new wavers Male Tears will also be released.

For this, her first-ever commission, Gentileschi painted Allegory of Inclination, a painting of a female nude that hung on the ceiling of the gallery. But a few decades later, the nude figure was altered by the addition of blue drapery painted over the figure to cover her private parts."
