omg I can see the reader from Lightning Bug just nonchalantly saying "thanks mom" to either Wanda or Natasha (maybe one of them made LB breakfast) but LB doesn't realize it until later in the day
Oh 100%. It would be so natural for her to do that the day would just keep going. UNTIL, she's in bed and remembers what she said and completely panics over it.

jarring realization that i haven't actually haven't done a proper introduction post — no time like the present I suppose?
Anyways you can refer to me as either Poet or Lexi ( or any variation of those two nicknames, Poe, Lex, etc. ). I am nineteen years old ( as of June 2021, because I will no doubt forget to update this as I age so please feel free to do that math ) and go by any pronouns ( although I must ask if we are not close, please stick to she / they ). I'm currently in college pursuing a degree in english, with hopes of being an editor in the future. I've been writing since I was eleven years old and like to think I've gotten pretty good at it. This is my first time posting any work on Tumblr, despite being a reader of stories on here for quite some time.
I am a self-proclaimed "war boy enjoyer" — so you can safely assume I've watched Band of Brothers, The Pacific, and a few different films. Haven't gotten around to Generation Kill quite yet. Outside of period pieces, I enjoy tolkienverse, animanga, and thai dramas primarily. I also play a lot of Dungeons & Dragons and play a lot of video games ( and for all our sakes I am a Gemini, ENXP, and 8w7 ). I’ve got a puppy named Loki who likes to bite my hands to prevent me from writing, and I’m prone to impulse posting AUs at 3am because all of my friends are enablers (affectionate).
My pride and joy, my current focus work is Sad, Beautiful, Tragic, which you can read here on Tumblr and here on AO3. It’s sister work and some extra fun bits are also posted on my AO3. I’ve also got an OC Masterlist here featuring some OCs from my next work, With A Fighting Heart, which I am quite fond of. They’ve got their respective tags if you’d like to read about them too.
SOME USEFUL TAGS
" poet's think thoughts " — alternatively titled "the poet screams into the void and now you must all listen." this is first and foremost a place of safety and comfort, as my url suggests. also just
" poet's mail box " — anything from my inbox goes here including answers to games & writing challenges
" poe's pals " — anything from friends / mutuals goes here
" poet's notepad " — i try to update this fairly regularly with whatever drabbles / ficlets i’ve written which aren’t apart of the main fic
“ poet’s secret friends ” — my anon tag, for those of you who are a little too shy to say hello, but I love you anyway
“ hi pretty boy ” — gifsets of my favorite war boys ( so .. a lot of ron + dick + some snafu sprinkled in there too ) alternatively, for my favorite women — try “ hi pretty girl ”
SOME FIC RECS alternatively titled "what is getting Poet through the semester?" complete with AO3 / masterlist links (and their tumblrs, if I have it) — can also be found under #fic recs
The Names We Call Upon by TysMisadventures ; for my Dragon Age enjoyers. I am Elera's number one fan and also her wife. If Solas won't make a move I WILL! Also I love a good Modern AU.
A Garden In Bloom by Arlana ; it has Hanahaki and Medieval AU in Haikyuu. Also the first AO3 fic I ever read and life just hasn't been the same since. I love princes falling in love.
Fire on Fire by liebgotts-lovergirl ( @liebgotts-lovergirl ) ; I am going to war for Alix Martinelli. If she asked me to jump I would ask how high. I am her number one fan.
The Darkening Sky by MercuryGray ( @mercurygray ) ; If you see me crying over Annie Sutton in a public restroom no you don't. I'm cheering Joan Warren on with pom-poms whenever she does anything ever. I am her ride or die forever.
Barren Soul by softspeirs ( @softspeirs ) ; If Kat Gray has million numbers of fan i am one of them . if Kat Gray has ten fans i am one of them. if Kat Gray has only one fan that is me . if Kat Gray has no fans, that means i am dead . if world is against the Kat Gray, i am against the world.
as spring makes promises outside by shoshiwrites ( @shoshiwrites ) ; shoshi will write an au and I will think about it for the next month and a half and that’s not even a joke. anyways flower shops and joe toye and jo brandt will save 2022 and if you disagree argue with your momma.

'Well that spell went wrong...' Arlana considered upon rubbing the back of her head. She had little clue of where she is and the fresh wound on her arm was a mark of her failed calculations. The castle she had ended up near was certainly intriguing to a point where it may have some bandages for her predicament. The blood mage wandered up to the imposing building and knocked upon the door before simply opting to open it. "I do hope the owner of this castle doesn't mind this minor intrusion..." from @diiscordandstriife
What was it with all the people knocking on the castle door these days? Maybe mother should just invest in a front door maid, whose sole purpose was to answer the door. If Cassandra had it her way, she’d place a sign out front saying ‘GO AWAY - TRESPASSERS WILL BE EATEN’. But then again, if she did that, the food supply would dwindle. Unless people were stupid enough to think it was a joke... which was a possibility.
Either way, the middle Dimitrescu daughter was currently stuck with answering said front door. But at least she could have a little fun with the visitor. Swarming over to the door, she solidified enough to unlatch and begin opening the door before swarming a good ways back, on the top of the front entry stairs, and becoming fully human, giving the illusion that the door opened by itself. It was a cheap trick, but unnerving foreigners was fun, and who else would be knocking on their castle?
When the doors fully opened, she silently watched the woman’s reaction before her gaze slid to the fresh wound on her arm. The sight of it caused her to swallow instinctively, her mouth suddenly dry. Realising she was staring, Cassandra spoke up.
“Oh, you’re wounded... Come right inside.” And this, ladies and gentlemen, was exactly why Cassandra let her sisters do most of the introductory talking.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE BATMAN [41]
“I’m taking you to introduce you to your new PR manager,” Tim says. Jason looks entirely too entertained by this, shoulders shaking as his lips pull upwards.
“What happened to my old PR manager?”
“I’m going on an enforced vacation,” Tim answers. “HR and our mental health department are kicking me out - unjustly - saying that I’m taking years off of my own life with poor choices and am showing signs of depression and I’m hyper fixating.”
Jason blinks, mirth replaced with confusion, “Uh…”
He waves an arm at the area around them, indicating the dozens upon dozens upon people on this floor all showing the exact same symptoms Tim just listed.
Mark — Mark Anthony, not Marcus or Mark-short-for-Denmark-because-my-parents-liked-anime-way-too-much-and-I-wish-it-was-for-the-actual-country Mark. — is currently staring at his blank computer screen with an equally vacant expression. Jin is methodically cutting pieces of paper into precise strips and placing them in probably sorted bundles. Sheena has seven styrofoam cups lined up on the edge of her desk.
Elena is openly crying into her hands, hair a complete and total mess.
Yesterday was the end of W.E.’s tech show, which is always punctuated with a speech from someone in the Wayne family.
“We have to stop hiring these people from out of Gotham.”
“Why would we have started?”
Good questions that Tim has the answers to after meticulous hours of needling recruitment until they succumbed to his tenacity.
Short answer was lack of resources within Gotham.
Long answer? All Gotham born candidates tend to swing towards becoming possible Arkham inmates, cracking slash peaking early before falling apart, get snapped up by government posts after a few months, or switch professions immediately. It’s a quickly shrinking field that had to be outsourced to people from…not Gotham.
“I don’t know which one it is,” Tim says, “But rumor has it that one of them is from Metropolis.”
Jason looks around, eyes wide. “For real?”
“Cannot confirm,” Tim says, also glancing around. He rarely has any reason to come to this floor.
“Well. Whoever that poor sap is, they’ve gone native. I can’t see a damn difference between any of these people,” Jason says. “You were my PR manager?”
“Yours was a delicate case, sir,” Tim says.
Jason was dead for one thing. That was, somehow, not the hardest part of the PR problem.
“I handle everyone’s PR to a certain extent,” Tim continues, “But after a while I pass the majority of work on to our actual PR team and they ask for input and suggestions whenever they need it. Yours has mostly been handed off, but since I’m being put on forced leave I need to make sure that all of the teams are ready and that all of you know each other by face.”
Tim comes to a stop in front of a bland gray door and raps on it twice before opening it.
“Helen, this it Jason Todd, I’m giving control of his file to you,” Tim says without preamble. “I’ll be by sometime tomorrow to bring you up to speed on everything, but you’ll have all of his documents and any current plans by the end of day today.”
“I thought you hate Helen,” Jason whispers, voice much closer to Tim’s ear than it should be. Tim sidesteps completely out of the way, giving Helen a full view of which Wayne she’s going to be working with.
Jason tries to hide behind Tim again. It’s kind of funny how scared the Waynes are of their own employees. It’s also rightfully deserved.
“That’s Helen, one of the phone operators,” Tim answers. “She sounds like a chain smoker from the twenties and keeps putting her cigarettes out on my motorcycle tires. I think she was here before the building was built. I think they just built it around her, actually.”
“I hate sharing a name with Helen,” Helen the PR manager says. “I can’t wait for her to retire. Or. Die on the job. Whichever.”
“That’s harsh.”
“That’s Helen.”
“Which one?”
“Both.”
“Jason Todd,” Helen says, pinching the bridge of her nose. There are marks on her face where her glasses were. “Thank god, if there is one, it’s only Todd. I can handle Todd. I thought you were going to give me the angry one.”
Tim turns in time to catch Jason’s look of utter shock.
“I’m not the angry one?”
“You are, literally, the one everyone here has been hoping to get aside from Cassandra Cain who’s been assigned to Long for the past three years. We’ve all been really hoping for a mass reassignment while Drake is away,” Helen says.
Jason’s eyebrows have lifted off his face with how high they’re going. Tim thinks that’s a touch too much drama, honestly.
“She’s the best, you know. The absolute bst,” Helen says. “You can just say whatever you want. She showed up at this event, oh she did that, she did this at this time, whatever. No one can prove otherwise. She’s innocent until proven guilty and there’s no proof she wasn’t there, not doing the thing we said she was doing.”
“Still. I’m not the angry one? Who’s the angry one? I feel like I just lost my rep.”
“Damian. Obviously. He’s a teenager. How could he not be the angry one?” Tim says. “Helen, Jason. Discuss priorities and outreach. It’s almost five so I’m going to break the news to Arlana that she’s getting Damian.”
“It’s two thirty,” Jason says.
Helen and Tim both say together, “It’s five o’clock somewhere.”
“Seriously, how is this company above board? How has this place not been taken down by OSHA or a union or something?”
“Do you know how much I pay in lobbying?”
“Do you mean…how much my dad pays in lobbying or how much my dad’s company pays in lobbying?”
Tim stares at Jason because is there really a difference between the three at this point?
“Right.” Jason grimaces. “Ignore that.”

Chapter 1
Word Count: 1470
Triggers: None?
It was all Sophie’s idea. At least, that’s what Nate would say if asked. He was serious when he said he wanted to get out of the game. But he also missed his team. Nothing could ever replace Sam, but Eliot, Hardison, and Parker did a pretty damn good job. Of course he’d never admit that he missed them, or the chase, or taking down corrupt CEOs. But he did. He missed it far more than he ever thought he would.
Sophie would gladly admit that she missed her children. She video chatted with Hardison and Parker when they first moved on, and she called Eliot occationally to complain about Nate, but after a while, they drifted apart. The three musketeers had started something bigger, but they didn’t really talk about it with her, and she had lost touch before the plan had come to fruition. She wondered how they were doing, and she begged Nate to just visit them. It had been 10 years since their last visit. In that time, they had traveled the world and then some in that time. It was time to go home and see what the kids had done in their absence.
“Wow, the Brew Pub is looking really good! I love the new counter tops!” Sophie marveled as she ran her hand down one of them. Hardison gave Eliot a knowing look. Eliot rolled his eyes in response. They had been fighting about what kind of countertop they should get for months. Eliot finally just bought the countertop he wanted without telling Hardison, who found out and quietly changed the order.
“Oh, boys it’s so good to see you! It’s been so long!” She said finally, engulfing both of them in a tight hug. They wouldn’t say it out loud, but both of them missed getting hugs from Sophie. “Where’s Parker?”
“She’s in the back, there was an issue with one of the satillites, so she’s trying to fix it via webcam,” Hardison answered nonchalantly.
“The Brew Pub has satilite restaurants?” Sophie asked, surprised at how well it was doing. The boys blinked and were silent for a second.
“Oh, no, we expanded Leverage Inc. to be nation-wide. We might start an international branch in the fall, but it doesn’t look promising. We might have to push back the date a while,” Hardison answered her. Sophie’s eyes grew wide.
“Wha-what does that…entail?” She was awe-struck.
“Hey, when did the Brew Pub need a whole extra level of parking?” Nate asked as he entered the Brew Pub.
“Nate!” Sophie beckoned him over and he slowly meandered towards the small group. “The boys have some exciting news!” “News? I mean, it’s not exactly a ‘new’ thing, Sophie. We started recruiting about two years after you left, and then it all spiraled out from there. This is our what,”
“6th full year,” Eliot finished for him. Both Nate and Sophie stared at them for a full minute, not saying anything. The only reason they stopped, was because Parker stuck her head out of the back door.
“Guys, we have a bit of a situations. Sophie! Nate! You guys came back!” She squealed the last part. When Hardison and Eliot moved toward Parker, Nate and Sophie followed suit.
“Which one is it?” Eliot asked, pulling up a map of the United States. A string of red dots fell down upon the map, signifying where the satilite buildings were.
“Our New York office,” Hardison answered, typing on his laptop. “If we leave now, we could totally make in like two hours.”
“Wait, how are you going to get to New York? We’re in Portland!” Sophie exclaimed.
“We bought a small plane when we started branching out farther.” Hardison said this as if it was common knowledge. Sophie and Nate looked at each other in complete confusion, but they followed their kids out of the Brew Pub and into the busy streets of Portland. Eliot flagged down a taxi, which took them to a private airport.
“It’s not a particularly big airplane so we stay under the radar,” Hardison explained as he helped Eliot open the door. “And it helps that Eliot has his pilot license.” And with that, they were off. Nate and Sophie held back the thousands of questions they had for each of them. Only Sophie actually asked any questions.
“Did you two get married?”
“Nah, it seemed stupid.” Parker answered, typing away at her phone.
“We’re still working out the kinks…” Hardison clarified, looking disappointedly at Parker. She didn’t notice.
“Ok, so from what I can get from the lead there, they were hacked. Not like a normal, Hardison-can-just-type-on-his-computer-and-fix-it type hack like a really, really bad one. And honestly, they’ve got some of the most talented hackers we have at the New York office.” “Yeah I was thinking of maybe movin’ some of ‘em? Just to spread the wealth to the other ones.” Parker thought about it, but she shook her head. “They’re family, just like us.” And that was the end of it. When they landed, they were greeted by the head mastermind of the New York Branch.
“Arlana Foely, we spoke on the phone.” She extended her hand to shake Parker, Hardison, and Eliot’s hands. “Our car is this way—“ She cut herself off an did a double take. “Are you…Are you Nathan Ford and Sophie Devereaux?” She asked, awestruck. Nate smiled, weakly and shook her hand. Sophie, on the other hand, was beaming. “You guys are legendary. Honestly, I wish we had more time, because I have a million questions to ask you, but time is of the essence and we we’re about 20 minutes away, on a good day.” She quickly refocused herself and led the quintet to the car. The drive was fairly quiet, only Arlana spoke, debriefing the team on what had happened since their last contact.
Finally, they made it to “home base,” as Arlana called it. What it was on the outside, however, was a “Fitness Complex.” She led them past a sea of treadmills, stair-steppers, elliptical, and a range of weights to a door marked “EMPLOYEES ONLY.” She pushed through the door and the rest followed in her wake. Behind the door was a mess of computers, flashing lights, and freaking out.
“Arlana, I got our cameras back, but I can’t seem to figure out how they – shit now they have it back again, goddamnit, help me make sense of this Julia,” a young girl growled out as the team entered. Hardison didn’t skip a beat, sitting down next to the girl.
“Alec Hardison and you are?” The girls looked up, frozen in shock.
“I’m Irene. Ellis.” They both extended their hands and Alec shook them, one at a time.
“Now, I couldn’t get in by myself, and neither could you, so let’s see what happens when we do it in tandem,” he said, starting to frantically type. Irene didn’t waste any time and began typing away at her own computer.
“Wouldn’t it have been smarter just to send Hardison, if all it was was a computer thing?” Nate asked. Parker shrugged.
“This has been happening on and off for 12 weeks, so we figured it was time to visit and see who’s wreaking havoc on us.” She replied. Eliot glanced around and then leaned over and whispered something in Parker’s ear. She nodded and he left.
“Levada, you’re getting good,” Eliot said as he approached the punching bag. A young, short, woman appeared from behind it. She wiped the sweat off of her forehead and raised a single eyebrow.
“I was already good, I’m just gettin’ better,” She countered. He smirked and tossed her a water bottle, which she easily caught. “Thanks, what’re you doin’ in town? I thought you guys weren’t due for a visit for another couple’a months?”
“Some computer thing that Hardison has to help with.” Lavada nodded.
“Irene’s been goin’ crazy over that code. I woulda sworn up and down she was gonna smash her laptop.” She said with a soft chuckle.
“Yeah, Hardison gets like that sometimes. You been keepin’ busy?” she shrugged and began unwrapping her hands.
“This job keeps me busy. I like it. Helpin’ people never feels bad.” Suddenly Lavada something behind Eliot caught Levada’s eye. “No rest for the weary,” she grumbled as she headed towards the “EMPLOYEE ONLY” door. Eliot followed. Just as they both entered, Hardison and Irene were able to take back control of the hub for good. They high-fived, then Hardison noticed something on his screen.
“What’s this job?” He asked, pointing at a file.
“Oh, that’s the one we’re working on. It’s small potatoes compared to most of the ones you guys do.” Hardison looked up at his team.
“Sometimes it’s good to go back to the basics.”

The Days To Remeber Snippet...
From yours truly and @eustacefrog:
The preparation for the War Games closing ball...
                                            Chapter III
  Max was grumbling, going through his parade dress uniform.
  “Tell me again why are we going?” He asked his smirking wife.
  “Because it’s a military ball, and you’re kinda forced to go!” She answered him with a giggle.
 “Ah! Much better! I knew there had to be a reason for me to get into this straight jacket!”
  “You look good in it!” She reminded him.
  “Looking good doesn’t mean feeling good in it!”
  “Stop complaining!” Mia took out his boots and handed them to her husband. “Now, get dressed and get out of here! I have to get ready myself.”
  “Ok, Ok...i’ll get ready and go to the living room...like a good boy…” He pulled her to him, kissing Mia gently. “I won’t spoil your surprise.”
  “You better not! I went to great lengths to find this dress!” She held him closely, nibbling his clean shaven chin. Max leaned for another kiss, before picking up his uniform and getting himself dressed.
  After the Colonel finally left the bedroom, Mia locked the bedroom, and took out her brand new dress, smiling to herself.
  She cast an evaluating at the dress in front of her. Max was going to like it!
  “I bet you’re expecting something yellow or green, aren’t you love?” She whispered to herself. “You have a surprise coming…”
~~~~~~~~
 In another bedroom, two naval officers were also getting ready for the Closing ball…
  “And he said he wanted the first dance? Just like that?” Needa inquired the smaller officer, glaring at him.
  “Yes, Lorth…” Piett mumbled. “He said he’d want the opening dance. “
 “Thrawn wants to dance with you…” Lorth growled. “ Are you sure he doesn’t want anything else?”
  “I’m sure…” Piett huffed at him. “I’m not his type anyway…”
  “Oh? How would you know?”
  “Because I know his type...and he’s sitting on the sofa on the living room waiting for his husband!” Piett announced.
  Lorth looked at his lover, trying to make sense of his words...until it finally hit him!
  “You mean…?” He pointed at the door, in the direction that took to the living room, gaping at the Axxilan. “ Tycho?!?”
  “Yes! That’s exactly what I mean.” Piett confirmed. “ Those two were quite cozy, when they were rescued from their crash at Obroa II...I pretended I didn’t notice, but they seem to have kept some kind of affair.”
  “But Wes is going to the ball too…” Needa reminded him. “ Don’t you think that could cause problems?”
 “Listen, you’ve been getting to know Celchu...do you think the boy is the kind to go on having affairs like that? He’s not! Alderaanians have a very strict culture when it comes to marriages!”
  “Everyone does, Fir...except Axxilans…” He scoffed him
  “Not true!” He countered. “I could present you with more cultures that have open marriages as a norm! Or that have strict rules on how and when you can do it! Look at the Kuatys for example…”
  “The Kuatys are too pompous and conceited for my likings…”
  “They could have the same opinion of you!” Piett smirked. “ It all depends on the point of view, I guess…”
  “I guess…”He conceded. “Ready to go?”
  “Ready!”
                                               ~~~~~~~~
  Tycho was talking to Zev, while his Arlana and Orin were entertaining the toddlers. He turned at the sound of footsteps and got up.
  The three officers stepped into the living room, all geared up in their parade dress uniforms. The Captains in their Olive greens and the Colonel in grey. They all had black slacks with a golden trim running alongside the exterior.
  Unlike the regular jackets, these had a kind of breast plate configuration that buttoned on each side with five gold buttons with the imperial symbol. The epaulets were also trimmed of gold, with the Imperial symbol and they're correspondent military branch.
  The rank bars, instead of the usual silver durasteel background plaque, had a glossy black one, rimmed of gold too.
  The comparison between them and him, in his very simple all black TIE fighter dress uniform, was blatant!
  Flight Officers, didn’t have those very posh and uppity elegant uniforms…
The Colonel, amused with the blond man’s doleful look, shook his head.
  “Don’t worry Celchu! At least you can move properly on that uniform. “He told him. “We can’t even go to the ‘fresher without wasting a lot of time…”
  “Where are the other two?” Piett asked.
  “Still getting ready, I guess. “ Tycho mumbled. What in the hell could Wes be putting on to him so much time?
  As if on demand, they heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs. The man making his appearance at the staircase hardly looked like the usual Wes Janson they were all accustomed...and Tycho couldn’t be gaping more at the sight his husband presented!
  In a full ceremonial Taanabian traditional clothing, Wes’ exotic looks and dark skin were even more evident!
  The outfit was all in pale yellow and gold. It included tight slacks, brown knee-high boots made of high quality Nerf hide, a hip length tunic, that crossed in the front complete with a sash, and a long jacket that ended just short of his knees. All richly embroidered in organic patterns.
  Wes tanned skin and his golden-brown eyes stood out even more!
  To Tycho, he looked like a prince! Like a character taken out of the fantasy stories his mother used to tell him and his siblings when they were little!
  ...And here he was...in the most simple, unattractive uniform ever to be made by the Empire…
  Wes smiled at him, feeling his dismay.
  “You look perfect to me!” The Taanabian reached him, getting his soothing thoughts across to his husband.
  “Well, we might as well stay at home!” Lorth chuckled. “No one’s gonna notice we’re there now!”
  “You clean up quite well, Janson!” Piett added. “You don’t seem that surprised! “ He turned to Max.
  “You forget I spent a year in Taanab, my friend!” He reminded the Axxilan Captain. “Taanabians are proud of their culture, and many people still prefer the traditional garments to the more simple galaxy-common clothing! You should try going there on the Festival of Life! Taanabians don’t do dull colours!”
  “That’s right!” Wes nodded.
  “So, what’s the Taanabian’s fixation with yellow anyway?” Needa asked.
  “Not all Taanabian’s wear yellow, sir! Me and my sister wear yellow because we have the right!”
  “The right?” The two Captains exclaimed.
  “Yep! There are some basic colors that can only be worn by descendants of a certain cultural group! It’s mostly related to our Ancient religion. The colour division is yellow, red and blue. Now, this only applies to traditional clothing. If your wear casual clothing, you are free to wear whatever you want! It just so happens that, like Max said, most of us are attached to our traditional wear and our Heritage Colours. “ He explained. “ Yellow is the colour of the followers of the Goddess Ithylia and the keepers of her temple. Red is for The Unnamed Mother, the deity that created all livings things. Blue is for the Storm God Sendurii and the keepers of his temple! My family, the Janson family, descends from the followers of Ithylia! Simple as that!”
  “ Wow!” Tycho whispered, mesmerized by his tale. “ So, you always have to wear traditional clothing in that particular colour?”
  “The main colour has to be yellow and it can’t included none of the other two. But it can be mixed with the other colours that aren’t attached to any Heritage.”
  “And of course...this also doesn’t come as a surprise to you!” Needa turned to Veers.
  “None at all!” He nodded. “I even took a  couple of days to go to Pendath and see the temples Wes spoke about!”
  “And than you left my sister with a little surprise...didn’t you?” Janson scoffed at his brother-in-law.
  “Well…” The Colonel reddened slightly. “ I did come back for her, not knowing about it! And I would do it again! I’m not hearing you complain about Sari…”
 The rest of them laughed happily. Everyone knew that the Colonel loved all of his children to madness, and even Janson had been won over by his nieces and nephews too.
  But the Taanabian’s absolute weakness were the little ones! He doted on Sari and Lani, dragging Tycho along to babysit his small nieces.
  No matter what his insecurities made him fear, he would be a great father one day, the thought occurred to the Colonel…
  As the men were entertained picking fun on one another, another figure descended the stairs. A tiny surprised whisper drew their attention.
  “Mommy, mommy...you butiful mommy!” Sari exclaimed, blurting her words out and running towards Mia. “Look daddy...mommy gotta pweety dess!”
  The men stood still, watching the vision Mrs. Veers presented. The Colonel had a look that was half awe, half pride!
  The woman coming down the stairs had the confident poise of someone who knew damn well the reaction’s she elicited, without looking arrogant.
  The blue dress she had on was absolutely magnificent! The bodice was heart shaped, with a deep blue colour, intricately embroidered with Shooza fabric, Cerlin silk and small silver stones, like the ones that could only be found on Kuat! The reinforced Shooza, covered her cleavage. Ending on a built-in necklace that featured a rainbow gem.
 The wing sleeves were very delicate, decorated with leaf-shaped Cerlin silk appliques, and the same Kuaty stones.
  The main body of the dress enveloped Mia’s body until it reached the end of her hips, from where layers of blue Shooza overlapped in various tones of blue and silver, forming a full skirt.
    Mia smiled as her husband kept gaping at her, she turned around to show the open back and the thoroughly embroidered appliques that also overlapped spreading through the skirt. The dress continued into a small train.
  The various shades of blue and the sheer of the the Cerlin and the stones complimented Mia’s  complexion, like it had been made specifically to bring out her dark-tan skin and her golden-brown eyes. Her dark hair was just slightly pinned at the sides, letting her glorious curls fall on shoulder.
  “That’s really not fair!” Piett’s amused voice snapped them out of their lulled state. “You two are going to be the center of everyone’s attention and the rest of us are going are to play  “Who’s the most invisible guy?”...Take off that dress woman! Go put on something ugly so people notice me!” He scoffed at Mia with a mischievous wink.
  “Sorry Fir...I don’t have anything ugly…” She answered him, strutting towards her husband and holding on to his arm.
  “Your fault Max! You pamper her too much!” He pointed at the amused Colonel.
 “I have a beautiful wife and i’m not going to spoil her look by buying her awful clothes!”
 Tycho shyly raised his hands as if asking permission to speak.
  “I thought the Jansons couldn’t wear blue?” He asked.
 “That is not a Taanabian dress, love!” Wes explained. “If you think she’s getting everyone’s attention like this, then wait until you see my sister in a full Taanabian ceremonial dress!” He offered a proud smile at his sister.
  Arlana got up from the couch with Lani on her arms and went to her parents. “Can I have a dress like that too?” She asked hopeful.
 “When you grow a bit more, Lana. Ok?” Her father told her, ruffling her hair and poking on Lani’s nose. “Until then, we can go to Coronet and pick a nice, age according, dress for you before mom and dad leave for Axxila. “
 The girl pouted a bit, but agreed with her father. She loved mom’s dress...If only she could grow up fast enough to wear those kind of dresses…
  “But I choose the colour!”
  “Yes sweetie…” Max smiled at her.
  “I wish I could go too…” Arlana complained.
  “Well, I don’t!” Orin made himself heard, sitting on the couch with another holobook in his hands. “Too much noise, too many people and too many awfully perfumed boring military wives that just have to pinch our cheeks and,  ‘aww...they grow up so fast, they’re cute…’ ! And other babbling nonsenses...Nope! I’d rather stay home, thank you very much!”
  “I for once, agree with squirt here! I’ll just stay here looking after the gang! No boring overcrowded parties for me either!” Zev added with a smile.
  “See?” Mia looked at her husband. “Those boys are going to grow up as antisocial as you!”
  “I’m not antisocial, my love, I just could very well spend the rest of my life without going to dull parties! I only attend these things because of you anyway...the only good thing is getting to spend the evening dancing with you!” He hald her close.
  “There will be more women there to ask for a dance…” Lorth reminded his friend.
  Max squinted at Lorth, his face giving away the opinion he had on being dragged to the dance floor by the other officers’ dull little wives.
  “No thanks!”
  The main door buzzer rang, and the six of them left for their transports, leaving the house for the younger elements of the family…
  Zev clasped his hands together looking at his siblings.
  “Right! Now that we have some peace and quiet, how about some toast with Illum spice butter and goldberry Nerf milk, while we go over the previous season  of  ‘Starfighters of Mindor’ ?”
  “Nice!” Arlana grinned, pulling her little sister closer to her. “You and Orin go get the food. I’ll search the holobox for the series.”
  “Don’t start without us!” Orin shouted over his shoulder as he and Zev raided the kitchen for the snacks.
  “Wouldn’t dare…” She whispered as she turned the holoscreen.

Is there a next part to your series called family ???
Yes!
There is another part in the works and it's called Sins of the Family! It's like 80% done. Here is a little sneak peak of it:
“Remember,” Wanda said, glancing at you and the twins. “Billy, you need to bring in your permission slip. Tommy, we have to go to the mall and get you new shoes,” the twins nodded their heads. “And you have a meeting with the home school agency. Did you finish your essay?” You glanced over the book you were reading. The trip to Iowa was done and it was time to head back to reality which meant starting home school. The couple asked if you wanted to attend another school but the incident with Henry and Coach Griffo made you lose faith in the schooling system. Home school was the best option for you and they agreed.
“I finished it before left for Iowa.”
"Atta girl,” Natasha winked at you from the driver’s seat.
“Nerd,” Tommy mumbled with a smile on his face. You rolled your eyes, bumping your shoulder against his.
“Dork,” you countered. You were an only child for the longest time it was such a nice change to mess with someone.

Ahi, i kinda liked to ask you if you could do another part of the Family Au, maybe an episode of Y/N healing, i kinda hoped that it could contain some fluff
You know what, I think you are right. I think she deserves some healing and a happy ending! I got some ideas bouncing in my head so I will right another part.

Just imagining older sister yn, terrifying the f*ck out of kate 🤣🤣
Yelena is the baby! Of course there is going to be a shovel talk! I'm very excited to write that actually. I can imagine the reader, Natasha, and Maria giving Kate the talk because all of the Avengers see Yelena has the baby even though she can kick all of their asses lol

I'm actually working on it right now. Just have to edit it and write two more scenes then it will be done so hopefully tomorrow.
Also writing a Natasha x reader one shot! Hopefully that one will be done tonight and I can post it tomorrow as well.
Sorry, I'm a little inconsistent with the posting.

I’m so glad there will be a second part to Marry Me because I want Wanda to be unhappy with her mediocre life and husband and see reader and Yelena COMPLETELY thriving…..
maybe that’s just me
Listen! I think we all want that. I have some great ideas coming up in the second part we are going to see a lot into reader x Wanda’s past relationship and Yelena x reader! Can’t wait to share it with you guys.

Wow, Katara proving those gender roles wrong was like the most important thing about her character 😭
The original creators dropping it is odd

Watched the first episode and like....*big sigh*
I don't know man. Like it's better then the movie but I just think some things don't need a live action adaptation.
But then I look at One Piece that recently came out and that did so well because it stayed true to who the characters were.
There are some things I like and other things I can't stand. You'll have to let me know how you like it when you watch it.
