Ive been recently listening to TMA but like im very slow on podcast that its been one month? but i only manage to listen to 10 episodes but i hate about my brain it kept wanting me to make TMA AU for the watcher boys even thought I HAVENT EVEN KNOW WHATS IT GOING TO BE like whos gonna be who?? Idk idk SHUT UP BRAIN LET ME FINISH FIRST DONT JUST GO OH SPOOKY BEETER MAKE THIS AN AU LIKE NO- Anyway i just love how the stories never fully reveal the creature on their statement, its so good

AHHHH LITERALLY THANK U FOR INDULGING ME i was just sitting over here like "man no one cares abt what i have to say about tma :(" so sorry if this answer is absurdly long (spoiler alert: it is) but pal you opened pandora's box asking me about my current hyperfixation

so FIRST OF ALL same about being very slow listening to podcasts like i've literally been listening to tma for over half a year (and tbh most of that time was listening to season 1—it is the slowest season for me so far because you don't yet see how interconnected everything is so it just feels like listening to completely separate stories that have nothing to do with each other, so i wasn't exactly itching to get to the next episode). but once i got about halfway through season 2, i started picking up the pace very quickly. it gets so interesting and very high-stakes and lots of cliffhangers and every time i'm like "there's literally no way this can escalate more" it does!! it escalates more!!

and not all of the stories get answers, but you actually get more answers than you think you will as to what some of the creatures are! like i said, a lot of things are (unexpectedly) interconnected, and they'll address things that happened in season 1 and you'll be like oh :O!!!!! so good the storytelling is truly so good

Me, watching AYS : haha, the story is basically a statement if it is a TMA, just thinking about how Ryan is basically a new archivist, trying to theorize with Shane who is a new researcher in the institute. Lmao that would be funny. Me : ... Me : OH WAIT SAMANTHA, Ryan and Shane could be just Jon and Tim at this point. ( maybe a little change of personality, but i like it more if shane is the archivist ) anyway, you are right about listening to season 2 faster. Im already like 15 episodes in.

Its okay, honestly listening to someone who is so passionate about what they are talking about always makes me happy! AND HOLY MOLY TWO OF MY FAVOURITE MOVIE IS IN THERE TANGLED JUST 💖💞💖💖💞🥺💞 cause honestly i felt so much conection with Rapunzel. I love that entire movie. Especially eugene?? How they made a chara?? Like that? The moment he change? such good crumb RATATOUILLE AAA food = culture for me and how the ego was nostalgic just idk i relate?? I cried. Also the music in that 💞 (1/2)

My other fav is Wall-e Cause holy shit i freakin cried everytime i rewatch it, just robots and i love the simbolic nature about it so frekain good for me 💞💞 toy story. Cried again. Like i dont think the entire series but something about moving on. just... hnnnng. My opinion on cars, for someone who had watched all three of it ( i have a small brother, its not on my own choice ) is that yes its NOT MY THING AND IDK WHY but it did convey somehow a message about retirement and moving on too. 2/2

hi archie 💖💖💖💖💖💖and i have never done a list so!!!!! lmao here we go!!! 1. Tangled- my favorite film of all time, i just really connect with Rapunzel, and the lantern scene is just one of the most beautiful things i’ve ever seen. Plus, like eugene is wonderful and just . ugh. words cannot express my adoration for this film.

2. Big Hero 6- probably a “spicy” take lmao. but i adore this film. mostly because it’s protaginist is relatable to me i guess? like im half white half asian, and so are hiro and tadashi, and to see san franskoyo as basically what i experience as someone based in america but have lots of asian influence? fucking love it. AND its a movie about characters focused on STEM careers, which like ME TOO. especially medical research???? BAYMAX??? god this movie was made for me. plus tadashi hamada is the cutest dude ive ever laid my eyes on.

3. Mulan (1998)- iconic film. my absolute hero as a kid i adored mulan (and still do). just... she’s amazing????? incredible???? i dont have words i feel  like i dont need to explain why i love this film??? like a woman find agency and purpose in herself, defying any and all previous expectation????? *chefs kiss* and that fucking SCENE when she looks into the helmet and “sees nothing” i die. feel that shit in my bones to this day.and then immediately goes to become the savior of the whole country like an absolute icon. also im half chinese so like. mulan. that’s my babe yknow. love her. as a kid i watched that film more in mandarian than i did in english actually lmao

4. Aladdin- funny, entertaining, aladdin is a great character, jasmine is a great character, it’s like the perfect disney renaissance film. plus, a whole new world is also one of my favorite songs. full stop. fun side characters, good villain just a good recipe of a film

5. Ratatouille- REMY. MY BOI. MY RAT SON. best pixar movie, shane is correct. i just.... it’s beautiful, the music is beautiful. the story is beautiful. the message gets me. i love that lil rat ans just want what’s best for him. and ego is such a good villain.

Honorable Mention:  Mary Poppins- i just like. stan julie andrews okay. afhsalkjfsalf and dick van dyke is fun too. but like, i just love mary poppins and the way she makes the most mundane things absolutely magical. in particular i loved the jolly holiday sequence because of the mix of live action and animation i always found that so amazing. like especially a part where dick van dyke does a dance sequence with animated penguins, it’s like *chefs kiss* it looks so good those penguins are beautiful

Dishonorable Mention: the WHOLE fucking cars franchise. cars 1/2/3 and planes 1/2 hate them all. cars was mediocre and fine but like then it just made...... MORE....... and more and more and i screamed i lil bit because none of these films are GOOD???? so why keep making them?????? their basic premise makes no sense there is NO reason they have to be cars/planes lmao
