Hey, my mom and I have both been out of a job since November, and while she just got a new job, those 2.5 months ate up our savings and she doesn't get paid till the end of the month, and there's a three day notice on our rent. My mom has set up a GoFundMe to try to keep us from getting evicted prematurely at the very least, because we literally don't even have the money to pick up our things to move in with family right now either.

the funniest way to write lancelot and gawain is that lancelot thinks hes definitely smarter than gawain, which he is not, and not because he has a massive ego but because gawain has never proven him wrong in one on one situations

"Polyamory could've saved Camelot" in at least one situation it made it worse (galehaut helping Lancelot and guinevere get together)

I'm tired of reading Arthurian retellings where they take out the infidelity and make it desire and a misunderstanding at most. Like I wish I could say these were recent works but these are all like 30-40 years old. What was going on in the late 20th century that we were like so upset at the idea.
Like it's always difficult but for comparison the trend now is to just make lancelot and guinevere lesbians. Or to make Arthur and lancelot gay. Like it's justifying the adultery but justification is still doing it. It's not avoiding it altogether

Ultimately Lancelot's canon response to finding out about Galahad, namely that he immediately becomes so fond of and proud of his son that his death destroys him and leads towards his undoing, is way more interesting than the instinct to have him be uncomfortable with and denounce Galahad upon meeting him

Genuinely the funniest bit of Dresden files canon is the implication that if Thomas wasn't a vampire he would need glasses. Harry seeing Thomas' true self in his mindscape and being like "I think he's nearsighted"

It has NOT been 60 years since the last time there was a SAG strike! It has been 60 years since the last time SAG and WGA were striking at the same time!
To my knowledge SAG hasn't striked in a couple decades, pretty sure the last one was the commercial actors strike in 2000 (which is why Elizabeth hurley was blacklisted for a long ass time, because she scabbed it lmao), but that's still more recently than 60 years ago lmao

Intellectually I get why people try to make Galahad look angelic but I love him looking like basically aggressively normal. Like maybe he's a little good looking he is his father's son but like you know.

The fact Todd in the shadows also made a video about James somerton is so insane. Do you know how bad you have to fuck up to do that. He's a music critic. It's literally the only thing he talks about at length. The last time he made a video about something else was when he made a video about the top ten nut shots in movies just to fulfill his release schedule obligations for channel awesome. That was ten years ago.

It's so funny how commonplace fridging has become as a term to the point that people don't know the origin of the phrase, which results in characters in the DC universe, where the original fridging in question was a real thing that happened, saying that term. And it's like. I mean do you know or do you hate Kyle that much.
