Family Pack #4
Tumblr media
I’m happy to share some sims with you all today! In this post, you’ll find 12 households (40 sims total), each with their own stories and biographies. All of these sims have additional Everyday outfits, skills, bonus traits, Likes and Dislikes, sexual orientations, pronouns, family dynamics, and Lifestyles. You can find them all on the gallery under my Origin ID: TheLastAirSimmer or in the tray files linked under the cut! As always, feel free to tag me if you end up using them.
Tumblr media
Abreu
A respected food critic, Maria’s opinion is highly valued by all as the towns’ baked good connoisseur. Her husband Joaquin, a renowned pianist, is no exception; he worships the ground she walks on. Together, they project their creative outlooks onto their sons. Santiago, the eldest and a romantic, has the full support of his parents and wants to become a professional wedding photographer. Even though young Rémy feels he didn’t inherit his parents’ imagination, he still wants to make them proud.
Tumblr media
Naval
Aparna owned her own restaurant while raising her two girls alone. Hema was able to help out when she was old enough, allowing Aparna to find success and receive critical acclaim by publishing her own cookbook. Today, Hema is focusing on her engineering studies while trying to find love; she’s very smart and sincere, but a bit naive. Ridhi is chasing a riskier path; she wants to be a famous musician. And while Aparna hopes that this is just a phase, she supports her youngest daughter anyway.
Tumblr media
Monaghan
As young parents, Stefan and Marianne sacrificed a lot. Stefan became a cop to support his family, but still gets caught up trying to relive his youth from time to time. Marianne longs for the day that she can quit her job at the local diner and become a singer. Soren feels pressure to please his parents, but really just want to play videogames all day while Tatum and Aria constantly bicker, not at all concerned with their parents’ feelings or the wellbeing of Hunter, who just wants attention.
Tumblr media
Larson
Quite the jazz singer in his day, Clive is desperate to find ways to stay relevant in the ever-changing music scene. Fiona, longing for the authentic soul who serenaded her years ago, knows she can inspire him again; she’s stood by him through a lot. But until then, you can find the melancholy art critic drinking to yesteryear at the bar. Jade dropped out of college to pursue a career in social media (much to Fiona’s discontent) while Candice is following the artistic path her parents paved.
Tumblr media
Agawa
Ever the class clown, Yuto knew that he had a knack for entertaining people. This was only confirmed after he went viral on Social Bunny for the first time! When he told his parents that he wanted to pursue a life in the public eye, they saw it as further evidence that he couldn’t take anything seriously. He makes a decent living streaming video games and his eccentric personality is pure internet gold. Though to be fair, he should probably be a bit cautious with what he says and does online.
Tumblr media
Hollifield
As a teen, Whitney’s future looked bright. But she forfeited a lot of opportunities to pursue a whirlwind romance with a boy who had a dangerous edge. They were happy for a time, but it didn’t last and the only thing she kept from that relationship was her daughter Emma. She now works a lowly job in fast food while taking classes at Britechester, hoping to find a career in social media. Her days are busier as a working single mom, but Emma keeps herself entertained by befriending her neighbors.
Tumblr media
Catton
Following the loss of her son to avoidable circumstances, Dottie found herself in the care of his two children. Filled with regret for not doing more for her son, the college professor watches the kids like a hawk! She’s keen on using her connections to better their lives. Temperamental Owen does well to make her proud with his grades, but he has an artsy side that he only shares with those closest to him. His little sister Bonnie would rather spend time making friends than studying though.
Tumblr media
Qian
After founding a groundbreaking app, Shirong found a place among the company of the rich and powerful. His charming wife Meifing, quite the schmoozer at elite parties, is constantly looking for funding for her next big venture (while also being the go-to-girl for all the neighborhood gossip). Nuo chose to move home after grad school to save money, but is ready to leave and start her own law firm. Her younger brother Haoyu adds to her restlessness by barraging her with his antics.
Tumblr media
Sullivan
Atticus’ dad Clifford, a retired veteran, supported his sons’ musical dreams fully, having raised him alone after his wife died. While roaming the world, Atticus met Elisa; a fashion guru with a fiery disposition. The pair had three children and Clifford moved in to help with the newborn. Like her dad, Lydia also wants to be an artist (whether if it’s for her love for acting or a desire to be in the spotlight remains to be seen) while Malicia, afraid of being unseen, finds relief in her friends.
Tumblr media
Kingsley-Ramirez
Jaime and Paxton met/moved in together before they could actually get to know each other, both having been new to the city at the time with zero connections. They found themselves compatible not only as roommates, but eventually boyfriends as well! Jaime always puts others before himself; it shows in the passion he has for social justice causes he advocates for. Meanwhile, Pax works a parttime job at a small coffee shop, but is intent on putting himself through school to become a veterinarian.
Tumblr media
Tanaka-Murdock
Nigel and Shannon met at Foxbury and developed feelings for each other during study sessions. Though Nigel was the only one to graduate, he admires Shannon for making the decision that was right for her. He enjoys being the breadwinner while Shannon follows her artistic instincts, though he wishes he had his wife’s free spirit. Shannon is quite hard on herself and works tirelessly until she makes something she’s proud of while their son Kason, while a quick learner, really just wants to play.
Tumblr media
Miyake
Even if he’s never been the most social person, Kenzo is a loyal and fierce friend to those lucky enough to make it into his circle. A patron of the sciences, he cares deeply about precision and perfection. However, when it comes to raising his son Akira, he wants the boy to follow his own path, even if it’s not exactly the one he would choose for himself. Akira seems to be doing just that; far more sociable than his father, he never fails to leave a lasting impression on anyone he meets.

Out of curiosity why do you ship sabine and shin ?
Okay anon so I am trying to figure out how to approach this ask because I know that this fandom has a real problem with bad-faith actors looking to troll Wolfwren shippers and I do not have the patience to deal with that, but also I do want to talk about them because they're lovely.
So. If you are asking because you're a troll, the answer is that I'm a big mean lesbian who likes ruining Star Wars and gets off on making innocent fanboys cry, #sorrynotsorry, it's part of my Terrible Queer Ruining Agenda and I am going to be doing it every second Tuesday until society as you know it has crumbled into gay dust.
If you're not a troll: because they hit this very particular combination of Trope Buttons that makes me ever so happy, anon!
Because it's about - like, there are ships that I love because they are a type of loving partnership that entrances me, where I see myself or see the type of love that speaks to my soul and want to enjoy the process of rolling around in it like a cat in nip. Then there are ships that I love because I'm attached to a particular character where like - this blorbo deserves the world and that includes a healing love, a warm love, a love that cultivates a space for them to rest after the harsh world around them has bruised them ever so.
THEN there are ships where - the dynamic fascinates me and I want to dig deeper into it. Where it's not about cultivating love as much as it is taking what's on screen to its gayest and most extreme possible endpoint, and that's where Sabine/Shin really gets me.
It's about the deep obsession of nemeses and the way that can feel inherently queer. It's about the ways that they are both mirrors and opposites. The way that Sabine carries so much anger and self-loathing and shame and guilt in her little heart and constantly pretends that she doesn't. The way that limits her throughout the series is riveting to me.
It's the idea of Shin, who in may ways is a more successful Jedi but in other ways is a sad, lonely little weirdo who has no community except for this weird old man and pretends that she's fine with it but can't be.
The way that they are both successes and failures in ways that mirror each other, the way that they orbit each other as nemeses and fight constantly but in their darkest moments have a weird little glimmer of - not love, but the beginnings of compassion.
And I have seen lots of writers and artists who look at that glimmer and see it as the beginning of a 200k slowburn story where they bicker and argue and slowly tenderize each other into being people who can be vulnerable, who learn to soften their prickly edges to fit around each other. And that's wonderful, and that's a beautiful way to ship Sabine & Shin.
For me, it's more about digging into that weird, fucked up little place of what if they didn't. What if they stayed fucked up and didn't soften but those orbits got closer and closer together. What if it wasn't toweringly romantic what if the orbit was the path of a comet colliding with a moon. What if that was somehow what each of them needed even though they both hated needing it. What does it feel like to confront the fact that sometimes our desires and what we want our desires to be don't align? What would it be like to envelop that in the complex ten-dimensional web of denial that both of them embody; desiring but pretending not to desire, indulging but pretending not to indulge. How far could that go before it hit a crisis point? What would that crisis point be?
There are so many stories there and that's fascinating and a thing that I find fun to explore in fiction, anon. If that's not for you, that's totally alright but there might be other dimensions that I described above where they ping with your interests more.
Or, they might just not be for you, and that's also okay.

IchiRuki is not "delusional," and saying that it is means you have no media literacy
IHs seem to think that all it takes to interpret Ichigo, Rukia, and Orihime's feelings is to read the epilogue. To a literary critic, that is absurd. Characters explain how they feel over and over again across a piece of media. An ending may give us context that alters the earlier scenes, but this is always in very specific ways. With Bleach, nothing about the epilogue indicates that Ichigo and Rukia are not supposed to be read as at least potentially romantic.
For posterity's sake, I should point out that I've only seen the first few arcs of the anime, so most of what I say below is based on the manga. That said, the anime is part of the story as much as the manga is, so just because something happened in the manga and not the anime, or vice versa, doesn't make it "truer" to the text, just true to different texts.
Let's start with the fact that the story repeatedly suggests that Ichigo and Rukia have a romantic vibe to them. The rumors at school make this explicit, but just from the setup of two classmates who clearly have a secret that are constantly sneaking off, especially when you add in that they go home together and sleep in the same room. I know a lot of people want IchiRuki to be the Platonic Boy/Girl Friends (TM) but honey, they just ain't them. You're thinking of Naruto and Sakura. Claims that they have a sibling vibe are utterly baseless, especially in Bleach, where sibling relationships are a very explicit theme. Not every non-romantic couple that's nominally the same age (don't get me started on the "she's 150" arguments; go prosecute ACTUAL 150-year-olds dating 15-year-olds and leave me alone) is automatically a sibling vibe. The most I could say is that they do bicker a lot, but we all know that's just as comparable to a married couple. Saying Rukia is a mentor to Ichigo admittedly has a little more basis, especially when Bleach doesn't have a designated mentor figure. I still think Rukia's role in teaching Ichigo about the Soul Society is more of a guide archetype, though; think less Genkai, more Botan.
But setting aside the setup, the Soul Society Arc, or Rescue Rukia arc, is loaded with romantic themes and imagery. Don't get me wrong; nothing says that Kubo couldn't have introduced these as a fake-out to the audience, with the intention of subverting their expectations. I don't personally think there's anything that really suggests that, at least not so far as the romantic reading of the Soul Society arc itself being entirely off-base. The whole arc kicks off because Rukia is asked by Orihime and her friends if she "like-likes" Ichigo. She says she only likes him as a friend, but all of the narrative cues suggest that she's being dishonest, from the narration to the fact that she was so bothered by the question that she chooses now to go to the Soul Society and face her punishment. The suggestion at this point seems to be that Rukia having any type of affection for Ichigo, be it friendship or romantic, is inappropriate or even impossible for a shinigami. Ichigo's feelings are treated similarly, as he never gives a straight answer when he's asked why he wants to save Rukia, but several characters suggest that it's because he's in love with her. This doesn't mean he is, but the narrative does not deny that that is a possible reasoning. We're not even really told what his answer is; the scene where he thinks, "That's why I fought so hard to save you" seems to be suggesting that he wanted her to be able to decide whether she would live in the World of the Living or the Soul Society -- or else it's saying he didn't want the last time he saw her to be her telling him she would never forgive him, or it's saying that he wanted to see her smile again. Like I said, we're not given an explicit answer to this question.
The rest of the manga is basically about Ichigo adjusting to life without Rukia. I think it's fair to say that even if you read Soul Society romantically, from the Arrancar Invasion Arc on, Rukia is no longer written as Ichigo's love interest. This doesn't invalidate anything suggested in the previous arcs, though. If anything, I would argue that Ichigo's feelings become pretty explicit by the time we get to Hueco Mundo. The dramatic reveal of Rukia coming to visit, and the fact that she's the only person capable of breaking him out of his funk, both have a romantic reading to them. When the team arrives in Hueco Mundo, Ichigo is shown to be overly concerned with Rukia's safety, explicitly singling her out aside from Renji, Uryu, and Chad. (I guess that could just be misogyny, though.) Even Ichigo's obsession with getting a rematch with Grimmjow could be traced to him nearly one-shotting Rukia during their fight in Karakura. I'm not saying any of these are exclusive interpretations, just showing how it's regularly reinforced that Ichigo feels differently about Rukia than any of his other companions, even to the point of letting it cloud his judgment.
I don't think I need to say anything about Ichigo and Rukia's goodbye before the timeskip. The way the scene is drawn, and written, and framed by the narrative, is very reminiscent of romance scenes, to the point that if it was meant to be read as exclusively platonic, it comes off as a very bad satire. And jumping to the anime real quick, I know episode 342 is anime-only, but by no means do I think that invalidates everything it says about Ichigo and Rukia's feelings for each other. That episode oozes with ship-bait, to the point of turning the subtext of their relationship into text. And if you think this is something that the anime studio injected into the narrative -- well, first of all, then we'd also have to parse out everything that the Shonen Jump editors injected into the manga -- but Kubo himself has said that he thought the episode was a welcome addition. So, if your'e someone who thinks the author's vision is the final say on the manga, there you have it; Kubo basically canonized ep. 342.
With all that in mind, I think that, at the very least, Bleach's narrative suggests that Ichigo and Rukia are coulda-beens. Maybe Ichigo was more invested than Rukia was, maybe Rukia deemed it inappropriate due to them being from different worlds, but in the language of manga and storytelling in general, the idea that they might have feelings for each other isn't some fan's "delusion"; it is actually part of the text. Whether or not they actually felt something for each other is for them and them alone to know, but the story tells us that these are two people who met, came to care very deeply for each other, and then drifted apart without ever taking the plunge.
The question that this leaves us with is, where does that leave Orihime?
If there's one character whose feelings are never up for debate, it's Orihime. We know from practically her first scene that she has a crush on Ichigo. Now, at first that's never taken seriously. It's mostly just a setup for the running gag of her bonkers imagination. Over time, though, we get a little bit more insight into Orihime's feelings, and she starts to get taken more seriously as a character. There's a version of Bleach where, as Orihime steps up to be by Ichigo's side in the latter arcs, he moves on from his feelings for Rukia and the two develop as a couple. If that were the case, even if IchiHime doesn't appeal to me, personally, I would still accept it. It would actually be a refreshingly mature take on teenage romance. Unfortunately, that version is not in the text.
For that reading of Bleach to work, we would need to see their love for each other build to a place where both characters bring out the best in each other, at least comparably to Ichigo and Rukia. Unfortunately, Ichigo and Orihime don't seem to bring out the best in each other. Ichigo brings out all of Orihime's insecurities. During the lead-up to the Arrancar arc, Orihime starts to compare herself to Rukia. (There's literally a panel sequence that says, without a single word "find you someone who looks at you the way Ichigo looks at Rukia", to anyone who's still unconvinced that there's a romantic reading to those two.) And as the entirety of the Hueco Mundo hammers home, Orihime is personally ill-equipped to be Rukia. Both Rangiku and Rukia herself have speeches where they tell Orihime that she needs to stop trying to live up to what she thinks Ichigo wants and just be herself, but she sticks to the mantra that she wants to "fight by Ichigo's side" -- you know, like Rukia does. Urahara even tells her outright that she needs to stop trying to put herself on the battlefield. It's not particularly nice of him to squash her dreams like that, but it's not as though she doesn't get an out; Hachi is already there, trying to teach Orihime to be a healer, something she has a natural talent for.
Instead of reframing her wishes with the advice of her friends, Orihime makes the worst decision of her life and goes to Hueco Mundo with Ulquiorra. Now, obviously this is coerced by the Espada and not her actual response to the situation, but that doesn't mean they're not framed as consequential to each other, narratively. Orihime is told she has a flaw that she needs to change, but before she's able to do so, she must go through hardships so she can let go of the façade that she's using to cover up her flaw. Well, she goes through hardships alright. She's imprisoned, assaulted, and threatened with death. Orihime is confronted both with her weaknesses, and with her strengths, as she is eventually able to appeal to Ulquiorra's humanity through her willingness to see the goodness in people, even those who are actively abusing her. You would think this would lead to a change in Orihime that goes back and answers the underlying question, but it doesn't. By the end of the manga, she is still fantasizing about being a Battle Couple alongside Ichigo, and she's still not good at it. I don't know how many times I've had to say this, but Orihime and Ichigo losing their fight to Yhwach is not a triumphant moment. The fact that it's the result of Orihime achieving her series-long dream is more of an indictment against their relationship than anything else I could say.
To adopt the narrative that Ichigo got over Rukia to be with Orihime, we would also need to see him come to appreciate Orihime in her own right, something that he is...hopelessly uninterested in. No, we can't just take for granted that he's a dopey shonen hero and "that's just his character"; if he's supposed to be . We also absolutely cannot take for granted that this happens offscreen; that can be a headcanon that you, as the audience, choose to adopt, but it's not suggested by anything other than the assumption that the ending is supposed to be, and can only be, saccharinely happy. There's nothing to suggest that Ichigo changes the way he thinks about Orihime in the text, and we only ever see him thinking about her is when reacting to her in scenes, and just generally not wanting her to die. The closest we get to him expressing a romantic interest in Orihime is the scene where he asks her to "wait for him" -- at Rukia's wedding, no less. I shouldn't have to spell out how having this happen on the very day, at the very moment, that Rukia is considered "off-limits" to conventional societal standards undercuts the idea that Ichigo is not taking Orihime as a consolation prize. Which, don't get me wrong, SUCKS. But it is implicit in the framing, and can't be ignored.
And that's without getting into Rukia's relationship with Renji. I think in this case, we can very obviously see that Kubo tried to write a romance between them, but he did so in such a half-assed way that I find it very hard to take seriously. Yes, Ichigo throwing Rukia to Renji is obviously meant to tell us that Renji is her love interest from that point in the story, but that doesn't mean it works. First of all, we can't pretend Renji wasn't awful to Rukia for a majority of the Soul Society arc. Sure, this is him pre-character development, but it's a huge leap to go from "I'm conflicted over whether I should tell off my boss for killing you" to a canon couple. But even with Renji beating up Rukia and telling her he wished she was dead, you can still get to the point where they repair their relationship -- it just takes a lot of work that Bleach simply doesn't do. We need more than Renji promising to turn things around, we need to see him do things that make up for that. To be fair, though, Kubo spends very little time showing us what they're like when one of them isn't on death row. At most, they seem to train together a lot. Like, you want platonic boy/girl besties? THESE are platonic boy/girl besties. Actually, they're the ones with the sibling dynamic, given that they literally grew up calling each other family.
So where does that leave us? Some people seem to assume that despite Kubo fumbling the ball, the canon couples were meant to be, and that they somehow found happiness despite all the evidence to the contrary. Again, you can hold that headcanon for yourself if it makes you happy. However, if we're going strictly based off the text, the answer seems to be that Bleach doesn't have a happy ending. The characters whose endings are not related to getting married off all end up doing the one thing they didn't want to do -- Chad ends up using his fists for personal gain as a boxer, Uryu ends up alone, etc. -- and the ones who DO get what they want are the ones whose dreams are framed as being misguided, in Orihime's case, or unearned, in Renji's case. I'm not saying you have to ship IchiRuki, of course. I can't tell you how to read the series. At the end of the day, Bleach is to you what it is to you. But saying that reading IchiRuki as romantic is "delusional" is more than just false, it diminishes media literacy for all of us.

Like/ reblog or both if you like it :)
“Darlin’?” He asked, voice a little raspy. Your heartbeat was in your throat. You adored the way he would call you darlin’, baby girl, sweetheart… It was healing in a way – he gave you comfort you lost when your loved ones perished.
Your fingertips carefully rolled the joint as your mind drifted into the endless abyss of nothingness. There wasn’t anything to think about. It was Sunday and the world was still in shambles, so you just wanted to relax…You didn’t usually smoke weed, maybe once a month, to cheer yourself up and smile for a change. That was when the world was normal and boring. Now, you just rely on your small stash you found in an abandoned mall to ease your mind every couple of months.
As you were about to light up your joint, Joel, who was supposed to be asleep next to you, turned when he heard the sound of the old lighter your dad gave you a long time ago when you used to smoke cigarettes in the backyard while your mom was at work.
“I’m about to be,” you smiled. You and Joel had some unfinished business in the air. Between him fucking you endlessly and constantly bickering; you two weren’t exactly just friends. It was clear to both of you that the walls were crumbling and feelings were lingering, but you refused to acknowledge it.
“Yeah?”
“Are you high?” His eyes were fixed on the joint.
“Since when do you smoke pot?”
“Since when are you my mother?” You sassed. Joel rolled his eyes and got up, resting his upper body against the bedpost.
“Wanna join?” You asked, playing with the joint between your fingers.
“I don’t smoke pot,” he simply said and you knew that was a damn lie.
“Found it in that mall back in New York,” you explained.
“Liessss,” you said, dragging your S’s like a snake. He softly smiled, liking the fact that you knew him so well.
“Where did you get that anyway?”
His eyebrows immediately went up when he did the math. “We were in New York a year ago.”
“You cannot exactly buy pot now, can’t you? I use it for emergencies.”
You took your lighter and put the joint between your lips while Joel watched you carefully. You inhaled the first puff remembering how good it made you feel. Last time you smoked weed was a few months ago, when your best friend got infected. You couldn’t sleep, had horrible and vivid nightmares for weeks and Joel had no idea. You chose to not share your struggles with him and he was the same.
“This is an emergency?” Joel asked, a bit confused.
The smoke stayed in your lungs for a couple of seconds before you exhaled it through your nose. “Can’t sleep.”
You haven’t been able to sleep again. It had been almost a week. You would toss and turn not being able to stop the racing thoughts running through your brain. You wanted to tell him, you desperately wanted him to feel the same, but you couldn’t. It would be too much. Rejection would be too much for you to bear, but at the same time sleeping next to him almost every night made you feel worse. You wondered why he never said anything about that night – the first night– when you drunkenly fucked in his bed and made a deal to meet once a week. That deal turned into every other day and every other day turned into every day. It wasn’t just sex, you liked spending time with each other, having a drink here and there and sharing your stories as much as your shattered souls would allow.
“Your turn,” you said and gave him the joint.
“Yeah, never better,” he said after a few coughs.
As he took a puff, he started to cough. “Jesus!” He mumbled. “Shit’s strong!”
“You okay, old man?”
Silence filled the room as you sat there, getting high and enjoying each other’s company. You were light headed, your body didn’t feel like your own but you didn’t mind. Someone else was driving while you were the passenger princess under the influence.
“Why can’t you sleep?” Joel finally asked, breaking the silence. You swallowed the remaining saliva you had, which was almost none. Ypour throat was dry as you were trying to come up with a lie. Nothing came to mind.
You sighed and said, “Because of you.”
Joel took another puff, eyes squinting from the smoke as he looked at you giving you back the joint.
“Me?”
“Yes, you’re a fucking moron.” You said with a chuckle.
“And why is that darlin’?”
It was like he was mocking you, knowing damn well the effect his words had on you. He was a tease at the end of the day.
“Your lips are so kissable,” you mumbled, not really knowing where that came from. The smell in the air was potent and reminded you of what once was; getting high in your room at 3am, forgetting your then troubles and eating a shit ton of food before eventually passing out in the comfort of your own bed. Your problems seemed so minor and insignificant now and you missed them dearly. You missed the normality of it and you missed your family.
“Why don’t you kiss me then?” Joel asked as he inhaled one last puff before putting out the joint in the ashtray on his night stand. His question stayed in your mind for a few seconds before you actually registered its meaning. Your eyes felt heavy, but your body was still strong enough to fight the haze you were in as you climbed on top of Joel, straddling him. Your palms rested on his shoulders as you struggled to look him in the eyes.
“Why am I a moron then?” He whispered in your ear as his lips touched your neck, kissing your sensitive spots, knowing how you’d react. You tilted your head giving him more access as you bit your lower lip, holding back a moan. He pulled you close, not wanting to let go as you struggled to give him a proper answer.
“Because…”
“Because what?” He asked before his lips found yours. Time stopped but the pleasure he was giving you with every kiss only grew stronger, the need to tell him how you felt was resurfacing. You sighed into the kiss before he broke away, his palm on your lower lip, tugging it slightly. He was high, high as a kite, but still sober enough to patiently wait for your answer.
“Because…”, you started this time, looking at his soft brown eyes. So much sadness and torment in those eyes even weed couldn’t hide. “You’re not,” you finally confessed. “I am.”
Joel’s hands went under your shirt and on your hips. “Why?” He asked, visibly confused.
You took a deep breath, unsure how the words would come out. “I’ve been thinking about us,” you started, picking your words carefully. “Is there an us in this, Joel?”
Joel’s eyes were too dark to read, but his lips formed a small soft smile. It was good enough to  know you didn’t scare him with your question.
“I think I made it obvious when I let you play my guitar, that you weren’t just my dirty little secret,” he confessed.
One thing you and Joel shared was love for music. You both loved to play guitar, well he did because he had one, you played yours when you were a teenager and soon after the world ended you stopped and eventually forgot. It wasn’t until he decided to refresh your memory with the iconic Smoke on the Water riff saying, “Playing is like riding a bike, you ain’t forgetting that.”
His answer was different from what you had imagined. He wasn’t a soft man, far from it, he would sometimes go cold, refusing to say anything, refusing to feel – refusing to be human. He wanted to not care, but whenever you would smile at him, that want would crumble and so would he.
“I–” Before you could say anything Joel kissed you, sealing the already broken deal. This time the kiss was different; gentle and more intimate.
He wanted you next to him, drunk, sober or high. He wanted you – forever and always.

lelouch and cc is legendary because it is all at once:
- sometimes the handsome prince falls in love with the wicked witch
- sometimes you make a deal with the devil and then the devil accidentally develops feelings for you
- roommates to lovers. literal 'room' mates with years of sharing a bed.
- what if two lonely souls could find one another across time and bend the forces of the universe for one another
- what if the two worst people you knew looked at each other and said 'i could make them worse 🖤' for the rest of their lives
- fake dating in MULTIPLE contexts. cutesy fake engaged for his sister, fake coy mistress for the black knights.
- partners in crime and love
- IMMORTAL partners in crime and love
- amnesiac lover who the other must care for, twice over
- girl who grew up dirt poor winds up with literal royalty
- rich boyfriend who exasperatedly watches his girlfriend spend his money on increasingly ridiculous purchases.
- girl cursed with immortality, condemned to straitjackets and experiments and tired of life sees a charming popular schoolboy growing further and further away from the possibility of a normal life and mourning what she knows he will one day miss even as she continues to help him down his chosen path.
- boy who chooses destruction and violence under the gaze of his seemingly all seeing immortal companion, furious as she watches him make mistakes, knowing he would have ignored her if she'd told him not to anyways
- boy who is way too serious and haughty, girl who likes to puncture his ego
- two mean and sarcastic people making mean and sarcastic comments to one another
- demon emperor and the nameless immortal who grants him his powers
- weird goth teens who wander in the forest
- bickering old married couple
- if you're a witch, then i'll be a warlock
- whatever was going on in that scene where kaguya pitching herself as zero's wife by referring to her nickname the goddess of victory and lelouch responding 'that's too bad, i've sold my soul to the devil, so i can't go befriending any gods now' as cc smiles in the background
- woman who watches the man she loves go to his death, having helped him there
- woman who defies the laws of nature, of time and death, to bring back the man she loves
- trying to force your partner to stay with you, even to the point of taking away choice
- trying to quietly leave when your partner isn't aware so you can exit their life where you think you're not wanted
- calling one another's bluffs with dangerous stunts
- shoving your accomplice into a giant vat of tomatoes so you don't get caught
- pointing a gun to your partner's face because you didn't suffer for them just so they could be weak
- having pet names like 'brat' and 'selfish creature' said in genuine affection
- for lelouch, cc means having one person you never lie to, who can always see through you, who you can take the mask off with
- for cc, she is telling layer upon layer of lies, some by choice, some by omission. many are painful, but she makes no apologies and each time the penny drops she's waiting for their relationship to be destroyed and it never is, somehow.
- immortal who's given up on love after the endless cycles of death and the emptiness of controlling others being reminded love is real and it is precious by a mortal
- neat freak, perfectionist boyfriend constantly picking up after his sloppy, disaster gf who only eats junk food. he only buys designer brands she wears pizza hut merch unironically
- immortal getting to enjoy glimpses of normal teen life at mortal's school
- mutually trying to use each other and catching feelings
- mutually inspiring each other to live
- multiple matching his and hers evil overlord looks
- girlfriend who steals her boyfriend's clothes
- mortal continually worrying for the immortal's safety even though they are immortal, because not being able to die is not the same as not being able to feel pain
- interrupted love confessions
- indirect love confessions
- literal magic kisses
- psychic link
- the one person alive who knows your true name
- changing your name as a gesture of love
- finally choosing to move forward after being stuck in a cycle of the past

Two sides of the same coin
Philza was an old soul. He has lived through many eras, made many friends, and lost just as much.
He has seen many things, from kingdoms rising and empires falling, to humans ascending and gods reforming. The world was a strange thing. But perhaps the weirdest thing he's ever seen was the Demon King and the God of Life's relationship.
When the God of Life was still the God of Death and the Demon King was content to stay in his domain, everything was okay. They coexisted, in a way. The god ruled over the dead while the demon ruled over the demons. Two rulers of the Underworld, but never interacting.
Then, the demon decided to explore the Overworld. He was shunned for leaving his throne, but he never stopped caring for his subjects. He became kind, and everything his name was not. He was good.
The Underworld went into chaos without the demons' king. The god was enraged. He went up to the world to snap some sense into the other ruler, only to be enraptured by the life that surrounded him.
It was suddenly so colorful. So bright. So so beautiful. The god decided to stay and create and make life in a domain that belonged to no one. He made it his. It was wonderful.
Without the two rulers, the Underworld was left asunder. But that was a story for another day. One with fallen angels and humans ascending to godhood.
The two rulers lived their lives, completely forgetting the existence of the other. Until they were reminded that they do, in fact, live in the same world.
At first they paid each other no mind, respecting and understanding their decisions to stay and leave their domains behind. Once again, they coexisted. The demon stayed near the humans, making many friends and many allies. The god stayed away, isolated as he built grand fortresses and creatures of old.
They were content with how they were. But it seemed that Fate had different plans. They kept running into each other. Getting forced into situations where they would need to communicate or even work together.
It would have been fine, if it weren't for the fact that their personalities weren't completely opposite.
The demon was mischievous, deceitful, and undeniably kindhearted. He liked playing pranks and saying things he didn't mean. He liked giving gifts and stealing things. He laughs at your misfortune but helps you recover. He contradicted himself so much that it made him unbearable to be around for someone like the god.
On the other hand, the god was a workaholic, a perfectionist, and he liked to be straightforward. He had no time for the demon's antics. He had no time for fun. He just had no time for friends. He had so much to do. Which made him the perfect target for the demon, who only wanted to be helpful to everyone. And clearly, the god needed help to relax.
It was funny at first. To see the god constantly trying to shake the demon out of his tail while it clung on stubbornly.
Then it became concerning, when the god started to actively try to kill the demon. Philza was convinced the God of Life hated the Demon King. And why wouldn't he be? When it was almost a manthra for the god to mutter how much he hated the demon whenever they saw each other.
But then it became weird, when the god allowed the demon to help with his precious builds. It became weirder when the demon stopped being mischievous whenever the god tells him to (as temporary as those moments may be).
The final nail was hammered when the god let his child– the first genuine connection he's ever made with a mortal– be left alone with the demon he swore he hated with his life. To say that Philza was confused was an understatement.
The screams of hate and the loud bickering never stopped. The endless string of pranks and retaliation remained the same. But they seemed to… trust each other, somehow? And Philza wasn't even sure if they were aware of it. At least not the god.
So Philza started to look closer. To see what changed over the years. That's when he saw what he missed. Because what are two people who had known each other for literal eons other than friends?
They were two sides of the same coin. Completely different, yet they are also the same. They complement each other, they wouldn't be themselves if they were not with each other. Yet they can never face the same way.
The God of Life was never truly alone with the Demon King around, and the Demon King was never truly lonely for he was not the only immortal in the world.
It was a strange symbiotic relationship. Far too complicated for Philza to explain. And that didn't even include the part where the god had a friend who–
"Just so we're clear, we're talking about Uncle Bad and Uncle Foolish, right?"
Philza stopped his rambling to blink at Chayanne, he honestly thought he was asleep by now. "Uh– I don't know where you got that idea from, but we're not. This is not about them. Not at all." He answered, cursing his inability to lie effectively.
Tallulah giggled from her bed. "Abuelito is so silly, of course we're talking about Tio Bad and Tio Foolish!"
"Okay… can you tell Aubuelito why that is, then?" He asked, a small smile making its way to his mouth.
"Because they act exactly the same!" Chayanne exclaimed, looking a lot less sleepy than when the story started.
Tallulah nodded in agreement. "Yeah! I was with them the other day with Papi Wilbur and they were arguing because–"
"Okay!" Philza clapped his hands with a chuckle. "I think that's enough stories for tonight. Bedtime now, close your eyes and go to sleep."
Chayanne and Tallulah whined.
"But Dadddd!"
"The story's not done yet, Abuelito!"
Philza shook his head as he bent over to blow off the candles. He then kissed the kids goodnight, ignoring their protests and walked over to the door.
"Alright, goodnight, little ones. And hey, if you're good eggs tomorrow, I might tell you the rest of it." He said with a wink as he closed it gently, smiling as he heard the answering 'Okay! We'll be good, we promise!"

Day 19
SEELE!Rei AU notes I wrote on the bus
If you've seen this account's post, you're probably aware of the SEELE!Rei AU that's been circulating in my brain. To those who are curious and like the concept, here are some tidbits and notes I've made about it under the read more !!! BRIEF EXPLANATION: This is an AU idea of what if Rei was raised by SEELE alongside Kaworu instead of by Gendo/NERV?
Having Rei and Kaworu as siblings would be pretty good for the both of them. Rei would have someone to relate to and be comfortable around. Kaworu would experience similar stuff too, and wouldn't be exclusively Shinji-centric, making them have a possibly healthier dynamic/relationship. Rei could also be a tad more self-expressive, since being raised by SEELE would rid her of all the conditioning* and restrictions* (by Gendo, at least) she went through in nge canon. That doesn't rid them of all their problems, though. As we know SEELE has a dummy system as well, meaning Rei would still view herself as expendable and question her identity and self (possibly even more, with now having much more information to go off of to analyze.) Poor Rei'll have to deal with another organization's instrumentality planning deal again :( Kaworu would still have to choose between Lilin and the Angels. He is still a (unnatural) progeny of Adam, after all. I don't think he would suffer any less dread and anxiety from that in this AU. Having Rei around would probably lean him more towards his decision of saving the Lilin, though. What fun to constantly have to battle your nature of returning to your angelmom/soul's body, amiright? Yeah. Having Rei in the custody of SEELE makes me think that it would be best that she wasn't a Yui clone. No more weird ulterior Yui motives!! That would pose the question of how did they come to exist then? Since the Katsuragi crew were the ones to be near Adam in Antarctica, what if another division was with Lilith a year or so later? This time they made another contact experiment with a vessel they manufactured specifically for this one. Just so happens that the one to be in charge of the design and name was our old pal Gendo... Bro can't let go of his dead wife obsession even in this AU :/ Yui's still totally dead btw. Right after Rei's "birth" too! She was still batshit insane and put her soul in Eva unit-01, but at least now Rei wasn't anywhere near NERV/GEHIRN. Rei gets unrestricted internet access. They share a room with their "twin" and have a cheap, creaky, bunk bed until they're 8, when both of them decide to split the room in half and bicker when Kaworu finds Rei's trash on his side of the room. This doesn't last too long, though, since when they turn 12, Rei gets sent for training at NERV, while Kaworu's goes two years later. ^^^^ I think about this moment a lot in the AU. Gendo basically just takes Rei to go pilot the Eva just because they look similar to Yui and had to leave her twin brother alone to deal with SEELE bullshit without anyone else to really talk to about it for 2 years.
Tumblr media
Rei's design differs when not in school, having a light blue long skirt and a simple dress shirt with her school uniform's red ribbon. They also sport some bandaids, even before piloting! Mainly from clumsiness and accidents back when she was a small kid.
Tumblr media
Kaworu's design is virtually the same, save for his orange belt, his black shoes with orange bottoms, and bandages on his arms. Having already been with SEELE in nge canon, I didn't want his design to differ too much.
Tumblr media
So far that's all I've written down for now, but if I ever get close to done with this AU and have made it even slightly comprehensive then I'll probably post a huge lore-post about it. Thank you for reading !! :D

V2 and Mike would fight like an old married couple
they're even WORSE they are so dysfunctional it's ridiculous....there's a lot of denying their feelings on both side, for somewhat parallel reasons - v2 doesn't want attachment to ANYTHING in a world that is obviously dying (and michael is literally rotting away so what's the point!!!!) while mike is similarly closed off to caring so deeply about anyone PLUS v2 is a creepy little machine!! it has no soul, it's not worth his time let alone his emotions. so YEA this just turns into a lot of bickering and compensating hostility to push away any growing affection for one another, v2 always checking mike's ego and mike constantly criticizing v2's work. yet. michael begins to rest at v2's little home. they begin to actually have conversations in-between their arguments. michael gives v2 a way to call him, if it ever needs to (and when v2 finally does it never expects him to come, but he does). a lot of it continues to end with further bickering, but it's becoming more and more obvious it's because they both care. and soon they really ARE a married couple still without acknowledging it, always accusing each other of working too hard or taking too many risks...but mike's coming around increasingly often and v2 is looking forward to his visits increasingly more. SO WELL. they're arguing (affectionate)

In relation to the snow witch/cat lesbian duo, here are the said witch's dads. The first one, Marcus is AGES OLD character I've had for a decade that I still love a lot, and I actually didn't change his design from the old one almost at all? I simply drew him better now, thanks to having my drawing skills improve at least somewhat in the past decade.
Lethas is an amalgamation of an entire family of old dragonic deity characters squished together. I'll draw his dragon form sometime later.
...The font I'm using is kinda not matching for the fantasy vibe, but I really didn't feel like doing graphic design so to speak rn lmao
Fun Facts below:
Marcus is a Romanian noble in heritage, though local villagers rarely see him, and think of their count as bit of a weird hermit. Pleasant and polite enough, but odd.
Marcus doesn't have human staff, he uses his powerful ice magic to create icy entities that act as servants.
Marcus' Patron Deity is Jack Frost
Irina was abandoned at his doorstep as a toddler, and he was initially hesitant in taking her in, but saw potential in her already strong magic, and was admittedly kind of lonely living there alone
He and Lethas are in a mostly platonic, non-sexual relationship, but they do come off like an old married couple that bicker constantly, and clearly have a very strong emotional bond between one another.
Marcus is gay (and basically anyone who meets him can tell he's not straight, there's no way lol) and Lethas basically has no sexual/romantic drive whatsoever given the way his kind are born. (So he's Aro-ace if you apply human labels)
They started out as rivals, but overtime kind of become each other's only company (up until Irina showed up)
Lethas was actually frozen as a statue in dragon form in front of the Vasile castle for almost fifty years, and was released accidentally by Irina when she was 8.
She thought he was going to eat her dad, only to see the two start bickering and head inside for tea, as if him being frozen by Marcus for five whole decades wasn't unusual. (It was an accident, Marcus actually thought he'd accidentally killed Lethas and was relieved to find out that wasn't the case, even if he doesn't show it openly)
Lethas is a soul dragon, a being born from the lost souls of dead warriors perished in wars. All his weapons are formed from soul fire.
Lethas was born sometime around the age of the roman empire, though can't remember exactly when. Marcus is couple hundred years old, but he did spend about half of it on ice literally, hence he actually appears younger than he should. (Long story, he met Lethas because the dragon released him from ice accidentally)
Lethas breathes fire like average dragons, though his soul fire is immensely powerful and can't be put out in any other way, except essentially powerful exorcism magic or a soul eater's devouring of it.
Lethas immediately took into his role as the more strict and responsible dad, the first thing he did when waking up was to pick Irina up in his dragonic form and place her gently on the balcony of her room, patting her head, before turning around to bitch at Marcus.
The swirly pattern on Lethas' cloak doesn't just glow in soul form, but they move and swirl around too.
Split hair and coloring with Lethas symbolizes the duality of life in all its forms; life and death, sky and earth, fire and water, war and peace, etc. or that's what Lethas likes to claim anyway. Marcus suspects he just thinks it looks cool.
Marcus' coat turns into hues of blue and white when he fully activates his powers. The snowflake/star design on it is actually the center of the Warlock sect symbol for this world's Arcane Council (body that governs primary magic users, I.E beings whose main thing is magic, rather than the magic being result of being some sort of mythical being)
Technically, you're not supposed to remove parts of the symbol if you wish to utilize it, but Marcus didn't like the hostile looking spiky eyes surrounding the central star pattern, so he didn't include them + made the colors more to his taste.

so lets start from the beginning
so lets talk pdh, right? cuz thats the very beginning. for the most part, im planning to leave s1 of pdh alone aside from upping the intensity of the bullying (to make it more realistic) and just generally feel more like a teen slice of life drama rather than a harem anime where the protag chooses the shittiest love interest imaginable.
im also adding some mental health stuff just to generally make this more realistic! so lets get into it, this is the structure of my pdh rewrite!
Let's start with our leading lady, shall we?
Aphmau Shalashaska is a 14 year old freshman girl who has been homeschooled starting from fourth to eighth grade. She starts the series off as naive, though not as innocent as many people believe. She is known as the school's sweetheart, though many people suspect that she hides her intentions with a saccrine smile. To the people who know her, though, they know that her words are true and her motivations are pure. She is a light in many people's darkness, though her own world is casted in shadow...
basically i changed little to nothing about aphmau's character, aside from changing the years she was homeschooled. i decided to make her more sheltered but not completely sheltered.
i think i'm going to tweak her backstory to make it make more sense. i want her to actually (kind of) know about her father. he sends sylvanna (barely any) child support for her, to which sylvanna just gives it to aphmau directly because it isnt enough to actually do anything with.
im also going to ramp up the bullying and make it actually effect her and how she interacts with people, especially her love interests and friends.
the ending arc for aphmau in s1 is that she grows more confident and learns to rely on her friends when she's having difficulties with things. she wont end up with any of her love interests, but the trio end up extremely close. her and aaron will also end up extremely close and he will be introduced to the friendgroup (i dont like how theyre all kind of seperate) but he'll kind of be the "friend by proxy" because it will take a little longer for them to warm up (not anyone's fault, aaron is just... harder to befriend because he's an awkward dude)
as for her realtionships, here's my general plan for them (i had to split it up so aaron, laurence, and garroth under the cut!!)
Aaron
"It's weird. I thought those two hated each other. But now they seem inseparable. I just don't get it."
"Aaron? Yeah he's pretty weird. He has this whole dark and broody thing going on but he's such a squishy soul! He's like a pitbull! ...People think I hate him? Why would I hate my best friend?"
Aphmau is going to have more of a brother/sister relationship with aaron, they will NOT be the endgame ship of this rewrite. i detailed this in my pinned post, but i will reiterate: i do NOT like aarmau for the creepy, predatory way it is written. therefore i will just simply not include it in my rewrite. dont like it, dont have to read it <3
their story arc will stay largely the same. they meet online as FC/Shu (although i probably will change their nicknames because those are LAME) and meet irl in werewolf class. despite aaron defending her in person, they heavily dislike each other and bicker constantly. aph doesnt know she becomes the alpha female and aaron doesnt know that she is the girl that he's been talking to this whole time.
as FC and Shu they become thick as thieves, absolute partners in crime. they ARE aware of their age gap and there is no romantic feelings. they see each other as siblings and treat each other as such. they banter and bicker and fight but they genuinely care for each other. "i hate you, FC!!!" "i love you too, shu" becomes a daily part of their conversations.
Garroth
"He's so stoic, but around her... He becomes so gentle that it almost feels like he's a different person. She's his world."
"I think everyone but Aphmau herself sees the way he looks at her."
garroth is the first person to fall in love with aphmau. he stays quiet about his feelings for fear of ruining their friendship although he does quietly dream of something more.
garroth was always the first person that aphmau called on. his quiet and more serious demeanor was sought out as a comforting shoulder to listen to. before they knew that they were childhood friends, they had always described themselves as "platonic soulmates" (the word platonic made garroth internally wither and die but he kept that smile)
after, though? they were practically joined at the hip. partly because of their mothers and partly because they just wanted to. there was a select amount of boys that sylvanna allowed in her house (the only others being dante and travis, after many trials of proving that they ONLY have platonic feeligns for her daughter and NOTHING more) and the only boy that doesnt get her heavy surveillance
and that's how aphmau falls. breaking down his serious walls and getting to see his silly and goofy side that he keeps hidden made her fall before she even realized that she was falling
Laurence
"There he goes again, another girl wrapped around his finger."
"Laurence? He's so sweet and gentle! Sure, he's a big flirt, but he means well. I know that he would be by my side if I ever needed him."
if garroth's love is a gentle misty rain, laurence's is a fucking typhoon. strong and loud and passionate. he doesnt fall as fast. he even teases garroth about falling for someone so easily, but he very quickly learns why garroth fell so hard.
when laurence discovers his feelings, he immediately made it incredibly obvious. however, if aphmau flirted back, he'd become a blushing mess.
there was always boundaries with his flirting when they were friends. he never touched her, not in a way that could be seen as romantic. his hands always stayed firmly to themselves. but once he falls? he cant keep his hands off of her (nonsexually, obviously). constant shoulder touches, brushes of the hand that he plays off "oh aphmau if you wanted to hold my hand, you could've just asked!"
cupping her chin and cheeks, leaning in close so he gets an excuse to admire her face. the list goes on and on.
aphmau notices this, but she just thinks that theyre getting closer as friends. what makes her fall for him, however, was his gentleness. he was always the first person to tell her that she was beautiful, how kind she was, how thoughtful she was. he was her #1 fan, her absolute cheerleader. she had never had someone tell her that and now to hear it constantly made her heart flutter.
unlike garroth, she realized that she was falling for him pretty quickly. and that was about the time she realized her feelings for garroth, too.

tomjesse and tartaladon says happy halloween everyone!!
they're ready to go serve some candies to happy and excited kids!
a little ramble about their costumes down below <333 you don't have to read it I just need to let my brain out on this one
tartaladon is dressed up as soul and ma.ka from sou.l eater!
aha you've been subjected to my annoying rambles I love u
anyways
Tumblr media Tumblr media
maka and s.oul are a really good duo in fighting, they trust each other and know each other's limits, but when they're not fighting, they're always bickering like an old married couple and I find it so silly. soul (ch.ilde) is usually the one to provoke maka (celadon) and she gets violent FPFKTKOFKTF
in the story, soul acts as this designated weapon (the scythe) for maka and I think it'd be perfect how celadon wields chi.lde and he's constantly annoying her like "oouuh you're so strong omg my herooooo" and she's like "shut the HELL up. why are we partners." LMAOAIDJSJJDJS
also celadon looking fine. come on she looks so badass 🥺🥺🥺
tomjesse is lup.in iii and clar.isse from lup.in iii: castle of cag.liostro! (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS PLEASE U DONT HAVE TO BE A FAN OF L.UPIN III TO WATCH IT AARAARAADA)
Tumblr media
DO YOU LIKE STU.DIO GHIBLI. WELL FUN FACT HAYA.O MIY.AZAKI DIRECTED THIS BEFORE GH.IBLI WAS EVEN BORN!! so if you enjoy his works then I ABSOLUTELY reccomend giving this one a watch, this is a comfort movie of mine and I adore it so much 😭
Tumblr media
okok but unlike soul and m.aka, I was more concerned about their roles in the movie, lup.in iii (tom) is a gentleman thief and he's here to rescue clarisse (jesse), a runaway bride 🙈🙈🙈🙈 i also have the mighty urge to point out how THEYRE GREEN AND BLUE CODED ASKSKSKSKDJSJDJJS DIES BYE im totally not thinking of aus no I'm not no I'm not n

Crossover time!!
Genshin darling in Twisted wonderland
darling (w/*insert vision element here*) was running away from yandere harem (best trope-*shot*) and ended up falling into spiral abyss gate (like childe-*shot*) and turned up in Twisted wonderland, where they gained ANOTHER yandere harem lmao
Poor darling can’t catch a break. :(
But that opens up so many possibilities! Not only are they curious about the world you came from and what sort of magical properties it contains (that thing you called a Vision really is interesting…), but most are going to want you to stay in Twisted Wonderland with them forever. You don’t need your old world and that group of obsessive fanatics who chased you like a pack of wild wolves! You need them, and they will most certainly protect you.
Tea parties at Heartslabyul are a welcome escape from the stress of managing this situation, where Riddle presents you with a feast of delicious sweets and high-quality teas—all catered to your tastes, of course. How he knows about such tastes is beyond you. Trey insists that you take this neatly packaged bag of sweets he baked because he made too many and would like to share the joys of good food with you. There’s nothing more to it than that, right? Cater takes far too many pictures of you. He claims he’s immortalizing you on his Magicam, but the truth is that he just likes to look at every picture before sleeping so that his dreams may be filled with you and only you. Ace and Deuce, as charmingly silly as they may be, constantly bicker over your attention and are always trying to surpass the other when it comes to receiving compliments from you.
Savanaclaw is fun to explore when you’re looking to spend time with Jack. Whether it’s training alongside him or accompanying him while he trains, he provides you with loyal, stable companionship. He always seems so much happier to see you, but he’ll hide any sign behind his stoic behavior. Although his tail doesn’t lie… Leona usually lazes around in the botanical gardens. You can understand why he likes it so much. Though it may be humid, it’s comforting to see and smell so many vivid flowers and plants. He’ll make you his napping buddy if you’ll stay still and quiet, but the underlying truth is that he just wants to cement what’s his and keep you for himself for a few more coveted hours. Ruggie sees you a lot whenever you’re with Leona and when you aren’t at his side he’s following you as you walk across campus, watching you as you chat with some of your newfound friends. He’s waiting for a moment to get you alone so that he may properly greet you, but he’s pleasantly surprised (and suspicious) when you give him an entire prepackaged sandwich. Oh, he just fell for you even more…
Octavinelle is whimsical and charming if you’re particularly fond of the sea. Azul claims he wishes to be the shoulder you can cry on when you’re homesick and he wants to do everything he can to make your stay at NRC comfortable and worthwhile. Just sign this contract and all your worries will vanish along with your freedoms! :) If you accept any favors from him, be ready to hear the steep price when Azul comes to collect payment. And he will always take what’s owed. Jade seems upstanding and kind; he’d never hurt a soul—unless they’ve breached contract, that is. He may seem tame compared to some of the others you’ve met, but he has his own secret agenda and when he works alongside his brother they’re an unstoppable force.
Like Jade, Floyd is also charmed by you and he’ll approach you whenever he pleases. He’s broken into Ramshackle more than once now, and even though Jade lightly admonishes him for his actions it feels more like Jade wants to tell him “bring me along next time.” All in all, the boys in Octavinelle are not to be trusted or taken lightly.
Scarabia may be hot, but it is oh so welcoming! Kalim ensures your time spent with him is fun and exciting. He’ll take you on magic carpet rides when the moon is high in the sky, he’ll invite you to every feast and gathering, and he’ll slowly but surely monopolize your time until you’re spending the majority of it with him. He’s happy to share you with Jamil! Speaking of the Vice Dorm Leader, he’s cordial enough when you’re around. He never oversteps any boundaries and seems to stay in his own lane, but beneath that average façade is someone scheming to be the number one in your life. You’ll let him if no one’s around to claim that spot, right? You’d better. Until then, he’ll make himself comfortable in the shadows while he watches you and Kalim feed one another delicious foods—foods that he carefully prepared.
Pomefiore is elegant and serene. With beautiful architecture and an equally beautiful Housewarden, it can be easy to get caught up in the grand opulence. Vil casts an intimidating shadow and you can understand why some find him overbearing when it comes to beauty and health. He’s just trying to bring out everyone’s best self. Is that so bad? He once called you a ‘fixer-upper,’ so you’re not entirely sure if that applies to your appearance, your fashion, or your overall being. Vil just wants you to see the hidden beauty you possess! After all, the fairest of them all must have a lover who is just as attractive, both inside and out. Rook does not hold back with his kind sentiments, so much so that you’ve begun to wonder if he’s run empty on compliments and is simply making them up now. But you’ll admit they make you feel better, if not slightly unnerved. The fact that he pays attention to every part of your body is unsettling, even more so when you catch him stalking you. But that’s just typical Rook, yes?
At least you can lean on Epel when Rook and Vil become too suffocating. You’re one of the few people who accepted him as who he is and you never once mistook him for a girl or called him cute or pretty. You’re different and he likes that, so much that he’s very proud when you come to him in an effort to escape Rook and Vil. Epel will want to do everything he can to impress you. After all, there are so many competitors in this school. He can’t get stuck in their shadows, so he’ll cement his manly legacy somehow! Just wait; you’ll be impressed soon!
Ignihyde has the perfect energy for late-night gaming sessions, binge-watching shows and movies until the crack of dawn, and relaxing in the comforts of modern technology. Idia wouldn’t have befriended you if it weren’t for Ortho’s insistence, and he’s grateful his brother helped tug him in the direction of friendship. You’re really the only irl friend he needs and, if he knows anything from romance games, he hopes he can reach the best possible ending. Preferably, the romance option where the protagonist and his love interest fall into a flowery love. But such a love can’t be possible here, not when there are so many people vying for your attention. If their affection meters keep going up, how can he possibly compete?! He’ll be stuck in the dreaded friend zone before he can even raise your own affection bar. This is too much… Please just stay with him in his room forever. That’s the best solution to all of this.
Diasomnia is dark and littered with thorns, but those who reside there aren’t as thorny as one might think. You’ve become one of Malleus’s only friends and he cares deeply for his precious child of man. He’s not sure he’ll be able to let you go if you’re given the opportunity to return to your world. He’s too enchanted by you, and he wants to cherish this soft feeling forever. He’ll visit you at Ramshackle and enjoys it when you accompany him on late-night walks around the dorm. You’re his favorite human. Were you perhaps made for him? Is this what people call fate? Perhaps the two of you were destined to meet all along, and maybe your futures are more intertwined than you think.
Lilia has also found himself charmed by you. Everything about you is sweet and adorable! He can’t help but dote on you whenever he sees you with Malleus or the other boys. Your origins are curious, as he’s never heard of this land called Teyvat and he has no idea what a Vision is. But he’s interested in you and the place you’ve come from. Perhaps the two of you can exchange stories. If you’re willing to listen to his tales of old, he’d love to share a few fun anecdotes. And in return you can share some stories about this curious world you hail from!
Sebek won’t fall for your human charm! He’s not in love with a lowly human. It doesn’t matter if you’re a powerful mage in your home world. It doesn’t matter that you smiled at him and now his heart is doing a one-eighty. None of these things matter! And yet… Hm. You’re strange. What sort of spell have you cast on him? Rather than a spell, you must have cursed him. There’s no other way to explain his frantic heart rate when he’s around you and you smile that wonderful smile. Well, that’s simply inexcusable. To be cursed by a human—surely Lord Malleus will be disappointed! He can’t let that happen, so you’d better remove this curse right away or else!
Silver likes being around you. He’s so comfortable in your presence that he’s even fallen asleep on your shoulder once, to which he later apologized. He was very pleased when you told him it wasn’t a big deal and that you were happy to provide your shoulder as a pillow. That just strikes his heart. You’re too kind. Even when you’re stuck in an unfamiliar world, you’re doing what you can to find some semblance of normality and happiness. He hopes that he can provide you with some joy by being there for you whenever you need him. Sometimes just being your pillow is enough for him, and you always look so peaceful when sleeping. Silver wants to protect that tranquility so that you’ll never have to experience any sadness or discomfort while you’re here. Although maybe your stay will be permanent. He likes you too much to let you slip through his fingers.
Overall, they’re infatuated with you and the more time you spend with each of them the deeper they fall into obsession. If a time comes when you can return to Teyvat, they’ll be unwilling to let you go so easily. But maybe it’s not so bad here. At the very least, you’ve escaped the ones who were obsessed with you in Teyvat. But now you’re stuck with the same problem… Which is better? Who is more tolerable? Truthfully, you’re not sure.

so lets start from the beginning
so lets talk pdh, right? cuz thats the very beginning. for the most part, im planning to leave s1 of pdh alone aside from upping the intensity of the bullying (to make it more realistic) and just generally feel more like a teen slice of life drama rather than a harem anime where the protag chooses the shittiest love interest imaginable.
im also adding some mental health stuff just to generally make this more realistic! so lets get into it, this is the structure of my pdh rewrite!

In the Lonely Children au, the kids constantly bicker over who’s the oldest. Gregory doesn’t know exactly how old he is, he doesn’t even know his own birthday, but he’s the tallest of the kids. So, naturally, that must mean he’s the oldest.  Evan/Goldie argues that it’s really him who’s older because his soul has been here the longest. He’s an old soul. Literally. He’s been here for decades. When Foxybro/Michael begins to remember who he really is, he thinks the debate will finally be over. He’s the oldest. He’s the big brother. Evan and Gregory immediately deny him this birthright. They may not agree which one of them is the oldest, but they both agree it’s not Foxybro. They refuse. They’ve spent all this time bonding with a tiny grump-ball, and no way are they letting the grumpy fluffer nugget boss them around. Mike has never been so insulted. When Elizabeth officially joins the party, the debate boils all over again because now she’s insisting that she’s somehow the oldest. How old is she in this au, actually? Well, truthfully, I’m not sure. All three of us creators have a different headcanon. I personally believe she was the youngest, but I know Freddles headcanons her as the middle child, and Dire has her and Evan as twins. Perhaps, the boys’ memories are still a smidge foggy and they can’t quite remember themselves. Lizzie immediately seizes this opportunity to try and convince them she really is the firstborn.

I have another AU idea...
I dont exactly know how it would be executed but like
Digital Circus!DCA AU. Combine the mystique of the Circus and the slight darkness of what lurks behind the curtain with...
Tumblr media
THIS aesthetic and some cryptic, glitchy other worldly vibes with an old video game.
(PROBABLY will contain things like digital horror, digital body horror in particular, dark themes, themes of isolation, and lots of glitchy features, so please know that from here on out)
The website is supposed to be a place for kids online to learn stuff in a Cdi-Phillips/early 90's disk of edutainment games with a circus theme, but it was the first of its kind to implement multi-player play. For a while, it's revolutionary! Kids could communicate safely online for the first time without parents needing to monitor a chatroom to see if anyone skeevy was talking to their kid- all the kids could do ingame is use emoticons and motion to communicate. However...
It becomes discontinued because kids are falling ill at their desks and simply going into comas while the game continues to play itself. Even after a few of the children wake up... They're never the same. The game is taken off the shelves, but the data is never really... discarded.
The resurgence of the game comes back to life by one person who actually woke up from said coma, as a five year old. They claim that while they were out of it for a whole year, they had strange dreams about the game. Dreams that could have truly happened, that felt way more real.
A few brave souls find this game, including Y/N, and play around with it. Theu scour garage sales and auction houses and flea markets and old attics. And soon, the popularity of the game skyrockets. It can't be recreated because of such old tech, not entirely, but it's fun watching people play the original!
And then...
Audiences across the world watch these players disappear, falling into comas... with Y/N's livestream of the game constantly running as the players continue to play the game from the inside. They're trapped. No amount of stimulants or shaking or anything will wake those who have fallen ill, and people are warned that the game may have a photosensitive effect if viewed entirely raw.
But somehow a stream doesn't seem to affect people the same way. The world grows eager and nervous as they watch Y/N's livestream - their only connection into the strange world they're just now seeing into the bits of.
And the whole thing is orchestrated by three strange celestial looking beings, each with their own end to fill.
The yellow one with the sweet voice and the sad eyes, wanting players not to leave because he was programmed to be WITH people.
The blue one with the raspy snarl and the long hands, wanting players not to leave because they've broken the code, and must atone for their wrongdoings he swore he fixed so long ago.
And the orange one, the ringleader, puppetmaster of it all, wanting players not to leave because he's just about gone insane from the amount of bickering his two smaller counterparts have nearly every single day, and the silence.
The silence...
It is haunting.
These three were meant to teach and play and grow fond of the users- it was built into their very code. And all three of them are sick and tired of being alone with just the three of them. They don't actually hate each other, on the contrary. They love each other a whole lot.
But isolation does things to a person.
And as the pixelated tent flap is pulled back, for the world to see...
Their little performances are now broadcast to the world.
.... so anyways, yeah, Digital Circus Au-
