FROM DESIGN TO COSTUME: Hannibal/Elissa in the Mediterranean version, as designed by Chiara Donato
I'm not gonna lie, I do see the ghost of Maria Bjørnson in these... but in a cool way. They play with Romanesque tabs and details towards a Victorian bustle silhouette, much like Bjørnson, but adds an own flair in colours and details.
I also think the Hannibal 'slavegirl' costumes makes a lot more sense in the drawings. I really wondered about the diaper-like bloomers, which was not a flattering look and felt like a last minute addition. But the design feature long-draped leggings, which completes the look in a whole different way. More coherent. I wish they'd completed this idea in some way or another. In the same vein, I also wish they'd done some tiaras or diadems for the ballerinas, just to add that little extra bling. But I'm glad Christine wears one in 'Think of Me'.

So, I've been thinking. I've had a few PotO audios lying around for a while now, and wondered what to do with them. I thought about trading them for other audios. But I don't really want to get into trading (if you would like to share something though, I wouldn't be averse to it 😊)
So, Happy Holidays! 🎁 This is the first audio of three.
