Yes! It can be so frustrating to start in a fandom and feel very smol and unseen. I am always happy to signal boost an author (which I will do in a minute), but I thought I'd use this post to help people in other ways, too.
Participate in a Big Bang (or a Mini, or a reverse). This is an excellent way to get your writing in a collection the fandom already knows about and will read, and also a great way become a moving part in the fandom community and make connections. Big Bangs put you in a close working partnership with other fans, which can be hard to do on your own as a newbie.
Join any group that interests you: I know there are mdzs discord groups that have writing challenges out there. (Y'all, put links in the tags, 'cause I don't know any specifics.)
I see that you are accepting prompts, which is another great way to put both your work AND yourself out there.
Ask for feedback (which I see you have done). That makes your story participatory for the reader. You can also
Offer to beta other people's works. (If that's something you can do.) That links you into a community of people who are starting out just like you are, and is a great way to form reciprocal relationships.
Follow other blogs. Comment on their works. It's slow, and takes effort, but this is a good way to make friends in the fandom and get a foothold.
Tag, tag, tag. If it's a post on tumblr, select those first 5 tags carefully, because they're the ones that will pop up on people's feeds.
Make an AO3 account and post your work there as well... and again, tag, tag, tag. AO3 is a much better archive than tumblr, so people can easily find (and save) your work long after it's been posted. It's also got much better readability. So post an AO3 link at the beginning of your tumblr post, if you've got one.
Okay. Good luck, and remember to be patient.

Followers! Here is an author/new work boost! (Link is to a Tumblr post, so remember to reblog it if you like it.)
Wangxian - How the siege could (should) have ended
Summary: Wei Ying cares for the Wen remnants. He desires to protect them.
The world wants Wei Ying and the Wen’s gone.
In consequence: The siege could never have been avoided.
But: Wei Ying’s story could still have been another one.
Rating: M [To be safe]
Hope you like the fanfiction - all types of critique are welcome! Lots of love - Amaterasu <3

Promotion: How does it work?
Hello guys, I wanted to support all of you newbies out there, so I decided to open up this blog! :) - But of course there are a few rules, guidelines and so on:
1. In general: You can submit content of every format (text, picture, video, etc.)/fandom/rating to me/the blog (per ask)
2. Also: Feel free to contact me should you have any questions! (@amaterasususanno)
3. And as a suggestion: Should you want to find co-autors/-artists/... or maybe offer your art for an autor to use for their fanfiction or anything like that, please feel free to talk to each other/mark your posts #sharedinspiration (or in turn, if you are (for example) an autor asking an artist for help regading a visual for your fanfiction, you can use #visualizationwish)
4. Rule 1: I expect all of you to act respectfully and supportative amongst each other - you may even be able to help each other! #newbiecommunity
5. Rule 2: I do not support any illigal/obviously offensive/etc. content and will not take responsibility for such posts - and I would kindly ask you to refrain from promoting/sending me such materials (of course this dosn't mean that you can't use dark topics for your art/writing - you are free to portay your work in whatever way you want)
6. Always remember this: have fun and live your dreams, that is why you are here after all! :)
~ Lots of love, Amaterasu <3

Promote Yourself!
@amaterasususanno had a wonderful idea, and started @promote-yourself, a blog just to provide a place for authors and artists to promote their works!
This is such a fantastic premise, because it can often feel very overwhelming and impossible to break into a fandom, especially if you don't know anyone yet. There are very few creators who enjoy doing their work in a void, and this is a great way to get your voice heard, show off a little, make friends and ask questions.
Works from any fandom can be submitted (there is a post with details here).
So go follow. And submit your works!
