Note
In Miraculous, what if the revelation of identities was on the NY special? With LB and CN delivering the Miraculous to Knight Owl when she sent it? Do you think that the special would differ a lot from the final result or, another timeline would be created to the despair of Bunnix?
You know, I just got an idea for a What if.
(What if Majestia and Knight Owl Did take Ladybug and Chat noir’s miraculous?)
-The aftermath of the Technolizer fight occurred and Knight owl and Majestia had some choice words for the two French superheroes.
-Much like in canon, Knight owl ordered them to hand over the miraculous.
-Ladybug was still mad at Chat noir, but not enough to let some random people take their miraculous. She whispered to Chat noir to escape.
-The problem? Majestia was much angrier then she was in canon. She was grateful her daughter was okay, but angry that these two almost killed her in the first place.
-Majestia had swept them both up before they could escape, and Knight owl took both of their miraculous.
-”You will get this back when you leave Paris.”
-Marinette and Adrien both found out the other’s identity.
-”Adrien!?”
-”Marinette?!”
-Majestia and Knight Owl realizing in their anger they just unmasked two kids that had no idea the other’s identity.
-”You... you both didn't know the other’s identity?”
-”It was suppose to be kept a secret, from everyone. We have a super villain searching for our miraculous. Any slip of our identities is MASSIVELY DANGEROUS.”
-Majestia felt her anger get replaced with guilt.
-”What have we done?”
-Knightowl was angry enough for both of them.
-”Regardless, I will hold on to these until your trip ends.” Knight owl commanded her ward to leave.
-Sparrow looked at the two, guilt in her eyes, hidden by the mask. She left with Knightowl.
-Uncanny valley tried to plead with Majestia about the situation but Majestia told her to drop it. The two left. Leaving Marinette and Adrien on the roof.
-The two’s argument sort of fizzled out, both unsure of what to say.
-”Im sorry.”
-Marinette looked up at Adrien.
-”I... I found out my father had agreed to let me go on the trip, and Plagg talked me into going, since he reasoned I could just fly back before anything bad happened. I also didn't want to let you (Marinette) down since you put all of this effort convincing my dad of all people. But... I shouldn't have come. I let you (Ladybug) down.”
-”It isn't all your fault. I didn't know I was responsible for putting you in this situation.”
-”But I should have known! After we get our miraculous back... you can keep mine and give it to another person. I don't deserve to be...” Adrien was about to run off, but Marinette caught his arm
-"No!”
-Marinette had tears in her eyes.
-”Don't you ever say that again.”
-”Marinette...”
-”I have a lot to process with you of all people being chat noir, but I don't think I can be ladybug without you. Whether I know who you are and you know who I am.”
-”But I...”
-”The only way you could let me down is to abandon me! I am still mad at you and you have a LOT to make up for. Don't think you can just run off.”
-Adrien felt his face turn red at that.
-”Understood.”
-With that emotional moment resolved. The two hug it out. There was still a lot of talking they would both need to do, but the emotional shock of the miraculous being taken puts that sort of below the surface for the moment.
-”So, how do we get our miraculous back from knight owl?”
-”Oh don't worry, I am the guardian.”

Leveraging SEO for Commercial Real Estate Part 1 of 3
This is a special holiday series to get you ready for the new year! This is part 1 of a 3 part series covering real estate SEO for commercial real estate professionals. We are so grateful to Michael Hayes for providing this special series for our audience!
Part 2, “Finding Your CRE Audience with Keyword Research”, will be publishing on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Sign up to our “Blogs of the Day” email list to get notified when it goes live!
Part 3, “Leveraging Image Search for Commercial Real Estate SEO” will be publishing on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Sign up to our “Blogs of the Day” email list to get notified when it goes live!
Anyone who has performed some Google searches for commercial real estate related terms has probably seen many of the same sites come up.  Loopnet, Showcase, CBRE maybe a few others. These mammoth authority sites have taken over the SERPs for the real estate niche.  How is it that the “little guy” (i.e. an independent broker) can compete?
While it is difficult, it’s by no means impossible.  In this article I’m going to detail the main strategy I recommend for competing with SEO in a real estate sector dominated by authority brands.
Step 1 – Niche down
This is a tactic used throughout SEO, not just in real estate.  In order to compete against a dominant competitor, you must find keywords that they don’t target specifically, so you can outperform them on relevance.  Find a grand niche, in this case “real estate”, and then pick a sub-niche of that.  Perhaps it’s “commercial real estate”, or even more of a subniche “commercial retail for rent”.
Same principle goes for location.  If your target location is “New York City”, consider targeting smaller sections of that city.  It could be outer boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, etc.), or it could even be neighborhoods within Manhattan (Chelsea, Harlem, Kips Bay, etc.).
The advantage to this is: What you lack in authority, you make up for in relevance.
The disadvantage to this is: Every time you niche down, you are targeting a smaller audience.
That being said, you are also targeting a very relevant audience, one that is likely to need your services.
Do your thorough keyword research and develop a full plan for targeting a wide net of sub-niches/keywords.  Lay these all out in a spreadsheet and begin development of the content to target these topics.
Step 2 – Build Better Pages
Once you’ve decided on your niche keywords, now you have to outperform your competitors.  Hopefully you are sneaking through the cracks in their defenses by targeting keywords they aren’t targeting directly, now you have to hit it out of the park by building out these pages that are better and more valuable than your competition.
Here is your checklist:
All the on-page SEO fundamentals of a standard web-page.
Images that are geo-tagged, include neighborhood and keywords in filename and alt text.
Unique text (i.e. not copied from any listings).
Links to all the nearby neighborhoods, both for SEO crawlers and for users to navigate through.
Since this is a tactical SEO post, I haven’t touched on user experience much, but that isn’t to say that UX isn’t important for SEO.  In fact, when competing against the big boys, chances are they will have trained designers and enough resources to consistently test.
You should strive to do this as well.  There is always a way to marry perfect on-page SEO with the perfect user experience, you just might have to finagle it a bit.  Keep in mind that in order to truly win against the big boys, you can’t just rank, you have to impress the user (otherwise they bounce, don’t share, don’t come back).  Get yourself an outstanding designer with experience in SEO to guide you through this process.
But I digress, let’s get back to SEO.
In order to truly win against the big boys, you can’t just rank, you have to impress the user. Click To Tweet
Step 2.A – A Note on Listings Pages
Listings pages might be what people think of when they think of real estate content.  Unfortunately, they cannot be the foundation of an SEO strategy, even if they do serve a good user purpose.
Those listings are available everywhere, they are fed straight from MLS listings or other listing sites.  There is a problem here:
They are duplicate (everyone has them)
They expire and must be deleted quickly (old irrelevant content builds up quickly)*
As a smaller website, you won’t outrank the big players for those pages anyway.
I’d recommend not exposing any of your listings pages when you are starting out.  Of course, this is open for testing, but listings don’t play a part in this strategy I’m outlining today.  I’d recommend waiting until you have built up somewhat comparable authority to bigger brands to expose listing pages to search engines from your website.
Step 3: “Real Company” Press and PR
Now that you’ve done your keyword research, picked your sub-niche(s), and build out outstanding pages, it’s time to promote and get some backlinks to help drive ranking.
Link building is something that could warrant an entire book, so I won’t be able to cover all possible variants in this post.  However, in this particular situation there is a distinct advantage you have over a large national competitor.  You have “boots on the ground”, so to speak.
Step 4: Exploit YOUR Boots on the Ground
Being a real, legitimate company that is located in your target city, you can have leverage that your competition does not.  For instance, you can:
Leverage Local Organizations
Local chambers of commerce are great places for business support and development, and they can be good places for exposure for your website as well.  In addition to getting listed on their website’s business directory, try to provide them content for a blog or article on their website.
Leverage Local Events for PR
Throwing and/or hosting events in your local city or town is a great way to network, but also leverage the power of local press for coverage.  Issue press releases about all your events and your property as a potential venue, and be sure to send pitches to all local newspapers.  You’ll be sure to pick up some coverage, some nice links, and some nice exposure.
Local Bloggers
In any given city there are dozens or hundreds of bloggers that write about the city they love.  You should seek to build relationships with them, here’s a couple of ideas:
Photographers – take them on tours of unique, historic or interesting listings. They get content, you get exposure and backlinks.
Neighborhood Blogs – there’s a ton of them, especially in cities like NY. Reach out as a source on insights into real estate developments or the real estate market.
Niche organization Blogs – These blog types are usually very active and open to pitches and ideas. Consider ideas like: giveaways, sponsored posts, or promotion of your spaces or sites in town.
Meetups – The digital world is exploding the area of high tech and high touch. Sites like Meetup.com have thousands of users looking for locations to host meetups. hint hint: Why do you think WeWork and Meetup have partnered?
Conclusion
Even though this was just a short intro into a potential SEO strategy for real estate, it provides a solid foundation on which to build, draw inspiration and ultimately take action.  Hopefully it has provided some insight into what it takes to be tactical with your online publishing.  If you keep in mind the fundamental principles of this “David v. Goliath” scenario, you can win out in the long run.

ML AU: In Another Life: NY Special
(So a few things to note, Since this takes place after the events of this version of the season 3 Finale, there are a few key differences. Fu still being guardian is one of them)
-Gabriel finds himself on the back foot, without a fixed peacock miraculous, he needs something to boost his advantage over the teens. And at the rate Nathalie has been going, he might lose her as well.
-While desperately searching the book, he caught notice of the eagle miraculous, it looked very familiar. (He comes up with his plan to go to New York to get that miraculous), well thats how he realizes his plan that is in canon. But this version is clearly more desperate. He needs to know what it can do and how to use it.
-Marinette’s class kicks but with their sock puppet show and pretty much the set up for how the class is going to America is the same. Including Miss Bustier’s reason for not going.
-Adrien is bummed because there is no way he would be able to go on the trip, not with how strict his father is. Lila tries to cheer him up, saying she couldnt go either (cause in canon reason is the same)
-Marinette states that she will try talking to Adrien’s father, she seems to have a slightly higher opinion of her, its worth a shot. “Afterall, your our sock washington.” She says with a flirty smile.
-Adrien has heart eyes over his cute girlfriend.
-Marinette and company go ready to convince Gabriel to let adrien go.
-Marinette gives a convoluted speech similar to canon, but minus the extra bits of friendship.
-Gabriel complies, saying that she convinced him.
-Marinette is over the moon and immediately texts her boyfriend who is at fencing practice the good news
-Adrien gets his butt kicked by kagami just like in canon.
-Kagami tries cheering him up by saying they could use this time to practice and she can help beat the sad out of him if he wants.
-He checks his phone and is excited. He can go on the trip!
-He tells Kagami the good news, she congratulates him. But comments she will be bored without him here to fence.
_____________________________________________________________________
-Marinette Calls Fu  and tells him about her trip to New york, and that her whole class is going.
-”Your entire class?”
-”Yes, even Adrien. Can you believe it? His father never lets him go.” She is over the moon.
-Fu notes to remember that.
-”Well dont worry about Paris. If anything happens, I will be sure to alert you and Chat noir. You will have the horse miraculous on your person.”
-”I am sure Chat noir will be able to handle things here. I will let him know I am leaving. You could use a break.”
-Fu remembers that Ladybug doesnt know that Adrien, her boyfriend, is actually Chat noir.
-”I will tell Chat noir about the departure. You enjoy your trip.”
-”Alright, if you are sure.”
___________________________________________________________________
-Fu decides to meet with chat noir.
-Fu contacts Adrien to meet him at a rooftop.
-”Ladybug wont be in paris?” Chat noir was shocked. (He was so happy to be leaving for the US with his friends and Girlfriend, he actually forgot that Ladybug is marinette and that means she wont be in Paris. And that HE wont be in paris.”
-”Right, and I have a feeling you wont be in Paris either. Your class is having a trip.”
-Adrien doesnt bother asking how he knows that. He assumes Marinette told him.
-”Wait, If Ladybug or I are not in paris...”
-”Dont worry, i will alert you both should anything happen. Ladybug has the horse miraculous on her. If she is close by, she can give you a ride, if not. Your astro form should be able to fly you back to Paris fast enough to get there.”
-Chat noir nods. He cant say he knows she will be close by. But he does know.
-Ladybug doesnt contact Chat noir about the trip, because there is no need to burden him over it.
______________________________________________________________________
-Marinette isnt late, because Adrien had G come pick her up with him.
- So they have some cute handholding as Marinette excitedly talks about going to new york.
-Once they get on the Plane, Marinette and Adrien sit next to each other. So we get Startrain 2.0. With them sleeping on the other, and being cute. No musical plane tickets.
-Alya and Nino are happy for the two of them, commenting that they are still so innocent. But they have no plans on pushing them
-Marinette and Adrien both end up needing to get up and they catch the sunset together. Cue cute almost kiss. But then Techno pirate ruins it.
-The United heroes step in to handle things just like in canon. Marinette and Adrien both internally relieved that they can relax and let other heroes handle things.
-The two enjoy a nice flight to the states
_______________________________________________________________________
-Fu may have called Marianne to help him keep an eye out in the city. She was happy to have an excuse to see fu. It was like a date for them.
-Meanwhile, Marinette and class arrive at the hotel. Aeon comments that Adrien and Marinette are perfect for eachother. Jess doesnt care.
-Chloé isnt depressed as she was in canon, so she isnt dismissive of Sabrina having fun with an american boy. In fact, she decides that she would be more positive. Trying to be the heroine ladybug said she could be. Though... being nice is hard. Alix comments that she looks constipated
-Sabrina is so happy that Chloé is supportive of her. It was a surprise change.
-Chloé was still not thrilled about rooming with Alya and Marinette. But says its fine. Alya is kind of creeped out by Chloé's more ‘Friendly’ attitude. Marinette says that they should still encourage it.
-The class sneaks out to go to the roof party. Marinette and Adrien end up in Aeon and Jess room.
-”Im marinette and this is Adrien.” “Im her boyfriend”
-Aeon is VERY happy to hear that. Jess is indifferent, but helps them both get to the roof.
-The class has fun and Hotdog dan arrives with his magical dogs of hotness.
-Marinette and Adrien have no trouble sharing the hot dog. Alya still a pro wing woman, totally gets Jess to play the song.
-Marinette is 100% down with dancing. Commenting that she remembers that dance.
-Adrien thanking Marinette for convincing his dad, and that she is so amazing. She is practically melting.
-”You’re the perfect girlfriend.”
-Marinette happy giggling and telling him he is such a cute dork.
-Yes there is a kiss under the moonlight.
______________________________________________________________________
-Next day, the class is at the museum. Aeon knows Jess ships it too, cause she admits they are adorable. There is no need for an elaborate plan, so they dont have the class do the thing.
-Gabriel sets his plan into motion.
-Fu see’s robustus and texts Marinette. Allowing her to move. Adrien notices her sudden rush and figures there is trouble.
-Ladybug transforms in private and uses unify with the horse miraculous to make a portal to paris. Chat noir calls out to her. Which surprises her.
-”Wait, why are you in new york?”
-”Its cool, I cleared it with Fu before I left.”
-Ladybug sorta does the same thing she did in startrain and just rolls with it, just commenting how lucky he is that they were both near eachother, and that if he is leaving paris, he should tell her. Chat noir agrees.
-They get to Paris and start fighting Robustus, who they realize shouldnt be here, because Markov is in New york.
-Meanwhile, Technolizer, takes the sword and Sparrow and Uncanny Valley hear the commotion. They dont see Ladybug and Chat noir being independent, so they dont try to strike out on their own, they do the responsible thing and call for back up, Then try to fight him.
-Ladybug and Chat noir are in Paris fighting Robustus, and trying to find his weakness. But after a bit, Robustus just vanishes. Confusing the two. ladybug uses her Lucky charm to fix the damage, and then they get a portal to head back. Ladybug and Chat noir head back.  Ladybug is mad suspicious over the sudden monster that seemed like all for nothing.
-Ladybug and Chat noir arrive to see the damage to the museum. Hawkmoth had successfully snatched the Eagle necklace thanks to the distraction from Technolizer. He is able to help the villain escape from the heroes, who were having a tougher time with the beefed up villain (until Majestia got more serious)
-Ladybug telling chat noir that if there is trouble to contact her, and she would do the same. Something is up with Hawkmoth.
-Hawkmoth has the eagle miraculous. He finds out the power of the miraculous is to liberate people. Which doesnt sound as useful to hawkmoth as he would like, but he gets a plan. He reakumatizes Techno Pirate.
-The events left New york damaged, but the heroes were not angry at ladybug and Chat noir since they have NO idea why Techno pirate got an upgrade.
-Marinette and Adrien went to catch up with the class. Where a car arrives for Adrien. Commenting that he clearly made a mistake letting him come.
-Marinette didnt stand by and say nothing (since she wasnt depressed or downtroden) she told Gabriel that she should let him stay. That the heroes would protect him, and that she would be by his side.
-Adrien also sided with Marinette. Gabriel was shocked, and angry that his son would Dare disobey him (which stirs the seeds on why he would use Marinette as a tool for an akuma at a later time). Gabriel gives one more stern command but Adrien is determined to stay. (plus he wasnt bummed about everything either so that helped his confidence)
-Jess and Aeon wanted to go with the heroes to help find technolizer but Civillian Majestia and Knightowl said that they needed them to stay here to protect the tourists. Which made them want to prove themselves.
-Cue the Hawkmoth’s plan using The akuma techno pirate with the eagle miraculous.
-Jess and Aeon notice that things are going wrong. Marinette and Adrien both realize it as well and sneak out to go help.
-Aeon realizes that Chat noir and Ladybug are Adrien and Marinette (because she is tech and is immune to that glamor effect. And is of course is even MORE stoked on them. The four of them meet up and work on the plan thats the same as in canon, (using the door hero’s power)
-The fight pretty much goes the same way as in canon, and Hawkmoth is actually pissed off instead of happy that there are more miraculous. Nathalie is now worse off then before. He is now even More desperate since his plan failed.
-Majestia and Knightowl are proud of their side kicks and Jess/eagle gets to be a hero in her own right. Proving her worth. Uncanny valley is her partner.
-Uncanny valley tells them she knows who they are and that she will clear the memories so that no one will know. Jess gets the eagle miraculous. (Marinette tells Fu about this, Fu says its fine. It isnt from his miraculous box, not his jurisdiction.)
-Marinette and Adrien enjoy the rest of the trip with the class. Marinette commenting to adrien how amazing all these heroes are.
-”I think you are much more amazing Marinette.”
-Cue adrinette cuteness
-Gabriel goes back to america, angry and now so much more desperate then before

You know, We never really know how long Marinette and Adrien were together in Chat Blanc before things went south.
It would be really interesting to think that They were together up until the supposed ‘Defeat of Gabriel Agreste’ that would happen in the actual series.
The difference being that it ended poorly with Chat Blanc destroying everything.
So its possible that there are alternate events to season 3 and Season 4
Like in Felix, Ladybug, Loveater, Miracle Queen, and Even the NY special.
I cant help but imagine those events.

ML What if: Lightning stuck twice
(What if Marinette did tell Adrien to stay when they were in New York?)
-Shortly after denouncing Plagg, Adrien ran off. Ashamed of how his actions nearly cost both him and Ladybug dearly. He was at his lowest point, the lowest he had been in a long time.
-Marinette was also in a down state, her partner, the one she had trusted so dearly, had vanished. Whats worse, she didn't know his identity, and couldn't be able to find him no matter how much she wanted to. In her mind, he made his choice.
-She had comeback to her friends and found herself facing Adrien in the rain, as Adrien’s father called to him via driverless car.
-Adrien was getting ready to go in, but not before saying he would have liked to be in the city, with a friend like her a little longer.
-In canon Marinette was about to speak up, but didn't. This resulted in Adrien going in the car and her inevitable chase before it was too late. But this time, Marinette felt that she had lost too much today. She wasn't going to let it happen.
-”Don't go!”
-Adrien stopped, Gabriel heard the sound. “Adrien, get in the car now.”
-”Stay with me, with us! We want you here.... I need you here.”
-Marinette felt tears stream down her face.
-Adrien felt himself feel the lightning clap. A blush on his face. Marinette wanted him to stay. He had felt so low, felt so lost after today. But hearing her say that, hearing that she needed him to stay. Even after all he had messed up with, that she couldn't possibly know.
-Adrien wasn't going to let Marinette down. He refused to hurt another person he loved.
-”Im staying father.” He said before closing the door.
-”Adrien don't you dare close that...” The door closed. And the car, sensing the door close took off.
-He ran over and hugged Marinette. The hug shocked her.
-”You don't know how much I needed to hear that. Thank you.”
-Marinette hugged him back, tighter. Like if she could lose him if she let up for a second. Adrien didn't mind. It wasn't until Ms.Medelev told them to get out of the rain before they caught a cold.

ML au: Exchange Hero au (Headcanons)
-Max develops a massive crush on Aeon. Finding her intelligence staggering. She is so smart and her technical knowledge surpass anyone he has ever met.
-Jess and Alix form a bond as a cool kids club. Jess being the one to bump heads with Chloé. She and Alix will roast the blond the most.
-Chloé developed a massive crush on Sparrow, who saved her from stoneheart. Wanting to get to know him better. (Since Sparrow’s costume is meant to appear like a guy). Jess of course is not fond of it. Aeon finds it kind of adorable, joking that perhaps if Jess told Chloé the truth, she and her could be better friends.
- Juleka asks Jess to join her band. Which Jess comments that she would have to meet the band first.
-Aeon is crazy skilled at video games. Because she can search and memorize all of the combos.
-Marinette and Adrien, since they aren't Ladybug or chat noir in this au (initially). are recruited to be heroes by Snowflake and Mercury. Adrien being mentored under Snowflake, and Marinette being mentored by Mercury.
-Marinette and Adrien end up together much earlier. Since there is no love square drama. They are very happy together.
-Aeon, Jess and Marinette pick up fencing thanks to Adrien’s prodding.
-Luka and Jess kind of have an interesting relationship. Juleka comments she has never seen Luka so... Competitive.
-Kagami becomes closer with the group, with zero romantic interest in Adrien. (As he is happily dating Marinette at this point). She finds Aeon to be very relatable, as they both have protective mothers.
