winwin: i did, i got a lot of new skills. for example, the four of us, me and xuxi and our two manager geges, we would play a game called murder mystery (T/N: it’s basically mafia). honestly, the four of us just play randomly because we don’t know the rules. we just guess for an hour and in the last five minutes, when we point at the killer, we just vote randomly-- it’S HIM YOU’RE THE KILLER! honestly i don’t think we’ve ever-- oh, there’s only one time when three of us guessed the right killer.

lucas: this game trains your abilities of deduction. (editors inserted a montage here of winwin saying they don’t know the rules and just guess randomly) i think this is a really fun game, and everybody can try it out. the best part is that time passes really quickly.

i think one really annoying issue is the back and forth i see on what people say about the lc situation. the 1st, as in very very 1st accuser, was someone who showed a crap ton of receipts that were proven to be false. those were the pictures of a ring, him on a plane, and i believe hotel bookings. the ring was given to him by winwin and the picture wasn’t his hand, the one picture of him on a plane is literally his head from an insta story he shared before mixed with a rando’s body, and finally the hotel booking date don’t add up because he wasn’t even in korea at that time, where the 1st accused seems to be based. there is a rumor that this person has admitted to lying and being a sasaeng. which i believe is false. correct me if i’m wrong, but anytime someone asks for a source for that statement, it’s never provided. so anyway, if the very 1st person is the one accusing him of sa, then i find it extremely hard to take it seriously regardless of my own personal beliefs on taking the side of victims.

so it’s annoying to see one person being skeptical of the accusations and another taking their side based on jumbled information. another contributor to this issue could possibly be the fact that there is no place you can get all of the information with a well formulated timeline anywhere. the situation itself is he said she said, and to educate yourself on the situation you have to play another game if he said she said by gathering info based on what others are saying. excuse my language but this is a clusterfuck of vague shit and i have a headache.

there is also a lot of speculation. with his apology letter, people are saying it’s a mandatory action to apologize anytime an SM idol has a scandal. while previous cases prove this to be true, it is still speculation and not exactly a viable argument even if it makes sense. another speculation is that if the 1st accuser has been proven to be wrong, then the rest of what they say isn’t viable. while i personally agree because… logically i can’t disagree, there are still other people who are coming out with their own stories. which i have something to say about in regards to their text messages in a moment. another speculation is the timing. for this to happen right before a comeback, right before they’re all getting their asses into gear, and right before A LOT of eyes are on them, is frickin’ weird. so this whole issue is annoyingly vague because you can’t truly put anyone at fault. a lot of evidence was faked, yes. but then there’s the apology letter that makes it seem like he owned up to everything. they cancel each other out. the nuances of this situation make this one of the easiest and most effective ways to ruin someone’s reputation because it has way too many layers so people get confused, information gets twisted and you can’t rely on what anyone says, concretely.

as for the other accusers, i saw a post that proves one of their messaging screenshots was edited. but whether or not that was someone’s shit phone screenshot or shit photoshop skills, i have no clue. then there’s the photos of him sleeping which were proven to be taken in his dorm, unlike the location they said. how they got them, i do not know or really want to. maybe one day if i need to learn hacking skills. today is not that day. as for the picture of him sitting at the table, who knows. but the previous fact makes it unlikely for me to trust the second fact. and we’ve found our way back to speculation again.

this whole situation ticks me off and i wish someone would make a video/article/twitter-thread of all information with a differentiation on what’s true and false, or what’s most likely true and false at best. and i don’t want to be the one to do it. SM idols need a lawyer. And their staff and publicity team need some backbone. If they did, this wouldn’t be a whole mess. a mother of all messes, if you will. that was my mandatory cat in the hat reference.

trying to dispel the psychotic energy I have right now that built up throughout my evening shower thoughts about the inane and how things just do not compute.

for the winwin/hendery tag, I appreciate and would champion ppl trying to write what is usually a fun trope but one needs to just FULLY COMMIT. I need to express my surprise that people are out here contributing to the tag. I appreciate it. once in a while maybe I do get tickled.

I also need to express that I need them excruciatingly awkward around each other. I need them trying to figure out what room there is for the other in their lives. I need them trying to move on quietly from whatever happened at the end of 2020. hendery should be like inwardly crying and shaking (negative) in his early 20s, he should not know what it means to have sex even while having sex, sometimes he should even hate it. sometimes it should feel like he's clawing at something that doesn't even seem achievable. literally the guy's most riveting daily problems involve how to set up a humidifier while refusing to read the damn manual and being indecisive when cycling through his delivery food options, and winwin in his flourishing but still daunting mid 20s, who carries himself even better and happier now, should be AT WAR with himself when hendery still calls him lao dong the same way he calls xiaojun 'lao xiao' now. winwin should be thinking it's kind of a terrible idea then taking his former and now cancelled roommate's best friend out on not-dates, because hendery needed company, and winwin liked feeling needed (the 90s love unit leader stint at the time WAS for publicity). winwin doesnt think too hard about not being able to take up anyone's invitations for any joint weibo lives lately. he is astutely aware of reputations and he's making something new for himself. he tells the media that being an idol was a stepping stone in his life. he's conflicted when hendery says in their group chat that he's sort of allowed to stay home as long as he can; management isn't gonna hound him for it because it's still a quiet road ahead for him. but winwin isn't gonna say much to THAT, or to yangyang going back to korea so soon to take care of the cats again, or anything to ten. he tells himself he doesn't need to, even as he catches up reading the group chat.

🙊 apparently some ifans of Lc hired a grp of private investigators to look into the allegations. Most of what was done was based on the online evidence presented by the accusers, so cyber investigation mostly. Not sure if you'd like to read it so I won't share the link to the article. Unless you've already seen it ofc.

Personally, I'm on the side of skeptical about the "debunking" in this article. But hey if someone here, either you or your readers/followers, has a more open-minded/rational take on this, on whether people should "trust" this article - by all means, I'll be happy to read it with an open mind.

I will admit there were some interesting points, but I’m way too skeptical to believe it.

For op1 most things were based off assumptions like “oh they like this manga so that means ___” like ???? Okay that’s an opinion not a fact ?? And they just made a bold ass assumption that they’re a sasaeng or connected to them. Don’t say anything you don’t know for sure.

Unless I understood it wrong. I might need to go back and read it even if it kills me inside.

Also a lot of their “this was photoshopped” stuff was seen in the very beginning on twitter threads or similar to it.

We’ve seen a pattern of Lucas fans lying and faking evidence which makes me not believe this article 100%.

Also, I’ll say it again. They lied about the ring messages. Lucas didn’t ask her to buy it and she never claimed to have given it to him. He showed it to her and said winwin bought it for him. That alone loses the article’s credibility for me. (Unless I translated the messages wrong).

I feel like when talking about the weibo op’s, they didn’t do any real investigating compared to the Korean op. It’s like they just spent all their time on the Korean op and took twitter stuff for the Chinese op’s.

hey! I was wondering do you know how long wayv members learn korean prior to their debut? cuz I'm currently studying korean as a beginner, and impressed with their Korean skills. maybe that also bcos of they live there so their Korean much better than I am lol. I remember winwin & lucas complain about how they're not diligent with korean studies 😂 I would say they still good making a complete sentence tho. feeling inspired by their Korean level, wish to get fluent like them too as a foreigner!

id say they all started learning when they moved to korea to join sm. so ten i think joined in 2013ish so his training period was 3 years. winwin joined in 2015 and debuted 2016. kun joined in 2015 so idk if u count his debut as 2016/18 but its definitely interesting to see his progress in that time. lc/hdy/yy all had about a 2.5 years of training period i think but lucas debuted 2018 and hendery/yangyang in 2019. xiaojun trained for less than a year since i believe he joined in 2018. obviously they all had different amounts of time to learn korean but they all managed to get very good very quickly which isnt easy! you can use them as motivation but please dont compare yourself to them. they have private tutors and live in the country so obviously they'll learn at a faster rate. and they still actively study too (even if some have admitted they arent very consistant with it aksjlk). also good luck!!
