the first time after they have sex buck tries not to be too clingy. holds onto the following moments post orgasm where tommy's still on top of him, inside of him, and they trade slow, soft kisses, panting into each others mouths. lets himself run his hands across tommy's skin, down his back, over his sides, memorising. but bites back his whine when tommy finally pulls away. he hums softly when tommy kisses his cheek and murmurs, "i'll be right back," and ignores the urge to grab his hand and beg him to stay. lets him leave the bed and tries to focus on something else other than the way his skin immediately feels cold. tries not to feel disappointed. reminds himself that everybody has different needs, it's not all about him. instead, tries to summon the energy to get his own legs working again so he can get up, too.

and then tommy's back. there's a cloth, damp with warm water, swiping gently across his stomach, down his thighs, cleaning him. he can't help the sound that escapes him this time when tommy wipes over his hole, still sensitive, even with as careful as tommy is. tommy runs a hand along his thigh, soothing, apologetic, says, "sorry, kid. you'll regret it in about five minutes if we don't clean up now though, trust me," his voice is raspy, still sounding as thoroughly fucked as when he was in the process of actually fucking buck. buck tries not to preen.

and then tommy's throwing the cloth across the room and buck hears the gentle thump of it landing in the laundry basket. thinks, stupidly, 'score'. and then there's a kiss being placed on buck's inner thigh, and then his stomach, and then tommy's making his way back up buck's body, kissing his mouth. buck sighs, melts into the kiss. doesn't grab onto tommy's shoulder, the back of his head, like he so desperately wants to. lets tommy pull away again, though he doesn't go far this time, hovering over buck.

"s'okay. you- you didn't have to do that, though. i- i would've-" and tommy shuts him up with another kiss. he's smiling oh so softly when he pulls away, has his 'evan' expression on his face, as everyone else has deemed it. flicks his eyes over buck's face, searching, says, "evan. i wanted to, okay? i like looking after you. makes my hindbrain happy."

buck laughs, feels warm in the way he's come accustomed to feeling when he's with tommy, and tommy's smile widens, like he's accomplished exactly what he wanted to and then he's flopping down next to buck, close, so close that their shoulders, arms, thighs are touching, pressed lightly against each other, but he doesn't move to do anything else. a minute ticks by and buck wants to shuffle closer, curl his body around his boyfriends and have tommy's arms wrap around him, engulf him in that way that always makes him feel safe, loved. knows if he asked, tommy would absolutely oblige because he's so good, so amazing like that. doesn't ask. doesn't want to put tommy out. stays where he is, settles for the points of contact they're already sharing despite the ways his skin screams-

"evan," buck startles, doesn't think it's the first time tommy's said his name. rolls his head on his pillow and finds tommy already looking at him, eyes crinkled in amusement. wants to reach out and run his fingers along the lines, ingrain them into his memory. doesn't, but tommy does. reaches out with both hands, pulls at him, gently but firmly, "come on, get over here, i wanna cuddle," he manhandles and rearranges buck how he wants him, until buck's lying half on top of him. head tucked under his chin, one of his thighs thrown across his legs and buck has to remind his dick that they've just had sex and to calm the fuck down because fuck- that's hot, but now's really not the time. one of tommy's arms falls across his waist, tugging buck impossibly closer, like he'd tuck buck inside his skin if he could. buck wouldn't stop him. tommy's other hand comes to rest against buck's head, fingers occasionally moving to pet at his mess of curls.

and buck tucks his face further into tommy's neck, takes a breathe, and another, surrounds his senses with his boyfriend. clings, because he thinks it's okay this time. tommy's clinging, too. lips press to the top of his head, dropping a kiss there. hears tommy's soft, "you okay?"

"yeah. yeah, i'm okay. just- this- this is nice. i- i really like being close to you."

"yeah? good. i really like being close to you, too, evan."

I just found your blog a little bit ago and am in love with your Gojou works!! I really like how you write him! You balance out his like 'I am the strongest sorcerer in the world' and his 'I am a simp for the reader and care about the hand picked people that are close to me' really well! Its sooo fun to read!

'growing pains' is definitely my fav! Gojou being a softy and reminiscing about little Megumi and Tsumiki was just too adorable! And then letting reader napping on him was just ahhhh so cute! Altho ofcourse this menace doesnt wake them up when they asked him too, altho its obvious that its because he has missed them because of them are busy, and then getting mad at Ijichi hes soooo KALSJWOQKQ....still love him tho LMFAO

And omg 'sweet like candy' was just LAJSJWAOQ hes so annoying but you're so on point that he would take like every opportunity to feed you (honestly I would argue that he has a spit kink but naoakapql) and then poor megumi having to witness it all my poor boi, he can never find peace 😔

And then 'flowering; orchids' was just soooooo adorable, dad Gojou is soooo special to me, and I loved the way you wrote him! He would be such a girl dad, and he would be soooo whipped for his daughter, I just know it, and the way you wrote that was just sooo cute (and also hilarious) and just Gojou being a complete menace towards the higher-ups and completely ignoring all their complaints (it seems like that's all they can do) was just great (scaring them with infinity and limitless, we love to see it) especially when they brought up the whole mistress mess as if Gojou isn't the biggest simp for his wife, ahhh I just loved it! 🥺💗

I also really love the little tidbits about the Japanese language that you include in your fics! I don't speak Japanese so it's fun to learn about it! (And also your notes about fandom washing away the aspects of Japanese culture and such in their characterization of characters is very true, cuz even though I'm not Japanese, I am south Asian so there are certain cultural aspects that do overlap and it's weird when they are taken out or ignored?)

But anyways! Thank you for writing such fun fics for Gojou, they are a delight to read! 💗

your mood-boards are so pretty!! 😍 you do them so well, i'm envious! mine never turned out well and i'm trying to do them again so since you do them so well i wanted to ask: do you have any tips or advice for people who want to get into them? like what's your process or any little tidbits you can give me? thanks and it's fine if you don't want to, i mainly wanted to compliment you 💙

this is so lovely, thank you !!! my mood boards are one of the things I'm most proud of, so it genuinely means so much that you like them!!!

and I have a whole process for them that I’d love to share hehe <3 also for the purpose of this post, I'm going to be using my 4000 miles mb as an example

the apps I use to make my moodboards are pinterest, picsart, and occasionally weheartit

(I'm aware that pinterest and weheartit are sometimes considered problematic but they're what I find easiest. absolutely no judgement from me if you use them or opt for something else)

I start by creating a board on pinterest, then once I've decided on a rough plot for the fic/au, I think of a few vague ideas of what I want to put in the mood board

because this au is set in the Netherlands, I searched for things I associate with it and that fit with the fic: dutch food, sand dunes, the specific town where the au is set, and tulips (I know that these aren't the only parts of the Netherlands, but they're the things I thought would make the prettiest mood board)

when searching, I always add "aesthetic" or "aes" at the end, bc otherwise you get a lot of articles/recipes/pictures that don't look as nice (eg "stroopwafel aesthetic" instead of just "stroopwafels")

I tend to only choose pictures that are similar in look - for this au it was lots of neutrals, blues, and bright pictures

this is the most fun part tbh - I just save as many pictures as I can find to the pinterest board! literally just go wild and save anything that even remotely fits

once I feel like I have enough pictures, I save everything from the board onto my camera roll, then I go onto picsart

click the "+" at the bottom of the screen, then scroll down to collages; grids. from here, I either select the first nine pictures out of the ones I've saved, or I make an effort to pick ones that go together

after this, it's pretty much trial and error - rearranging and replacing pictures until I feel like it looks right!!

when I've got the pictures where I want them, I then edit them (click on each individual picture in the collage, then at the bottom scroll along to "adjust")

this is a really important step!! below you can see the unedited convalescence mb (left) and the edited one that I posted (right). although the pictures on the left all fit a similar theme, they don't exactly match. so! I decreased the warmth and saturation, and I think slightly adjusted the brightness as well until all the pictures looked like they matched well enough. once this is done, you're all set! just save it, and then it's ready to post :)

obviously the editing is down to what sort of vibe you're going for - this mood board is for an au where Sarah's having a breakdown, so I edited it to make all the pictures darker and slightly less saturated, whereas this one is for the trophy wife au, where Sarah's life is essentially perfect, so I upped the brightness and warmth a lot, and the contrast and saturation slightly
