God today was so tiring for me.. I had 5 hours of dance practice, as soon as I got back home, took a shower, celebrate jay’s bday, wrote him a bday letter that was supposed to be sweet but ended up a bit angsty ☝🏻😔 and I got too emotional that I’m overwhelmed (ijbob = I just burst out bawling), then I remembered I have another dance practice tmr at noon. fml but hey, it’s still jay’s day after all, nothing could go wrong! right 😺

summary of thanksgiving break!

technically my time at home isn’t over yet but i wanted to hop on to tumblr w the kappas :) so here i am hehe.

i haven’t been home since september which doesn’t sound like an awfully long time tbh but for me it’s been a while. i missed my fam and my sibs a lot, so i was super excited to fly back. i’m sitting in my dining room writing this and it still doesn’t feel real. like whenever i go home it just feels like i never left :0 it’s such an odd, out of body feeling. anywaysssss i love fall in alameda bc of the changing leaves and the crisp air. like the bay weather is where i thrive i’m channeling my inner rory gilmore rn i’m so at peace. taking sm pics here inspired me to make a photo dump ig so i did FULL SEND :D subtle plug it is @_huongthy . that’s my viet name hehe. i like posting pics without judgment for my friends it’s so relaxing

i’ve been hanging out w my cuzzos and sibs a lot- walking around the neighborhood, grabbing boba, watching community + other movies. it’s always a good time w them. i also saw my childhood friends for a bit and imma hang out w them tmr too <3 we text and call all the time but in person is just different. OH YA i also watched black panther and i loved it. so sad and so good. still thinking about it now

i spent a lot of money on makeup today too. but i’m hyped for them to come (I GOT SAILOR MOON PALLETE) bc i rarely buy makeup so this is a bday gift for myself … ;) that’s how i’m justifying it at least. today was fish (that’s my lil bro btw for those who don’t know his nickname LMAO), but he was sick :,( poor boy. first day being 8 and he’s bedridden :(((( hope he feels better soon. we were gonna hang out in sf today but those plans fell through. i have so much schoolwork and studying to do sadly bc i have two finals on week 10 sjdhksjs but it’s ok i’m hanging in there. almost thereeeee :) i’m excited for winter break i’m literally gonna be back here within a week LMAO and the fam is going to oahu again and vegas as well. oahu is one of my fav places ever and fun fact i’m going w my friends for spring break too AHAHSHHAJA i’m practically living there this year. so crazy. and very looking forward to exploring da island w them. anyways this is EXREMEELY lengthy i bet no one is gonna read this far

Stayed over at hubby's hse last wkend and I entertain myself w Netflix, cooking dinner and also managed to donate blood. Hubby checked the weather forecast and we tot Sunday would rain, so we changed our plan to go swimming instead of going Clementi forest.

Grateful that hubby knows how to swim correctly and he taught me. Shiok lunch w hubby at d hawker for lunch before we KO the whole afternoon...almost hahaha~

Work is manageable still and glad sup is okay w my performance. I'm happy too~ Happy I can end work on time n go exercise w my colleagues.

Hubby feeling restless w his new boss, so I decided to bring him to drink on our dinner date. Argh! Hubby knows where I'll bring him to celebrate his bday this wkend liao. Booo~ no more surprise. So, I decided to trick him that I booked an appt with a tailor after I rush him to finish his dinner nearby the drinking place.

Hubby was nagging why I wanna waste money to tailor an outfit for this wkend (there's dress code for the dinner place: 1890 English business casual) and he most likely will only wear that one time. Lucky I told him otw up d escalator which is really near d drinking place. I told him, there *pointing to Taylor Adam* then he realised it's just a speakeasy bar with the tailor deco to hide the bar.

Glad hubby enjoys it...he had 2 drinks and 1 was pretty strong. I had Yatai Day, and hubby had Becky's Orchard and Gentleman.

It's 1 of my colleague's farewell tmr and I'm excited cos we gonna drink after work! Woohoo~ long wkend.

hi hey hello jaydi!! it's been a while since i even touched tumblr omfg 😭 been busy w/ academics + basketball practice since i've got new tournaments coming up 🤩 dk if we even stand a chance at this point bc our opponents' levels compared to ours are 💀💀 my teachers also placed me on the volleyball team for a match between classes so that means more practice noooooo 😭 the volleyball (classes) tournament is next week on thursday AND the basketball tournament starts the day after the volleyball match 😔 i might give updates if you'd like LMAO
