For preHRT selfies, search the femboy tag. For post HRT selfies, use the "trans selfie" tag. I've been on HRT since August of 2023, so I'm still very early in the process! Day to day, I present male, but I plan to change that around the 1 year mark.

I guess that's about it! One final note is that I've been alluding to video/podcast style things for a while now. With my aderrall prescription, I've actually put in a lot of research work that might lead to 1-4 of those, so that might actually happen in the near future! No promises of course, life always catches up to you.

Chapitre 196 - A Moment’s Hesitation

And visually we have Lava Lamp sadly holding the shoulder of his younger self as the tiny Lava Lamp looks at the camera with determination. I love the expression on the older Lava Lamp, eyes closed in such a sad expression. Because he’s the one who’s seen what happens, while the Younger him still thinks he can stop it. Oh! And they have a visible shadow beneath them! Just one big distorted shadow. Very interesting choice. 

The billowing cloak brings so much energy to such a somber image, but what I’m really picking up on is the stuff I probably could have noticed ages ago if I’d been looking. Lava Lamp’s outfit (minus the cloak) is split evenly between black and white - ie, the yin yang symbol that represents his soul. But there’s a little strip of his black shirt that stretches down with a white circle on it which is a perfect simulacrum of that same symbol. I’m not sure if there’s anything equivalent elsewhere that has a black dot to balance it out, but if we’re just looking here then you can find them on the Younger Lava Lamp, the many tiny black buttons across his white clothes. The cloak could also, at a stretch, be said to be in the shape of one half of the yin yang symbol, making Lava Lamp’s black shirt itself the little inside dot we were looking for. 

(And does the rest of the empty space imply that he's only one half of the solution that will bring the ultimate balance back to everything?)

So I've seen people talk about silas the thief episodes and I want to give my two cents on them even though it's like been a year already since the episodes came out and I'm barely catching up. I've seen that a lot of people find it weird that khoshekh [SPOILER] was a human man the whole time, and maybe it's just me but I didn't find it weird or gross or a bad plot twist at all.

For anyone who owns a cat (especially an antisocial one) you get that they are just Strange. They act hoity toity and rude and pretentious and sometimes you think they are too human sometimes but you love their weirdness anyway.

Yes it is a bit sad that he was in that bathroom the whole time but he did deserve it. He was an asshole and a narcissist and he could have changed at any time but he didn't. And thats okay! He was still loved by Cecil and and now he has kids and he's learning and he is taking ownership of his mistakes and the fact that he is just a cat now.

And that's okay too! It's okay that he is now a cat, and that he always was a cat with a human mind and that silas and khoshekh are one and the same, always were. Khoshekh was never depicted as nice, he was always rather vicious and seen as like a hostile cat. He still was adored though of course because he's adorable! For me, it doesn't feel like too much a strange step. If anything it made me love him even more.

Skunk Anansie - Weak 1996

Paranoid & Sunburnt is the debut studio album by British rockband Skunk Anansie, first released in 1995, and then re-released in 2005 with a DVD featuring the videos to the singles. The album, featuring a mix of controversial protest songs (mainly about politics and religion), peaked at number 8 in the UK Albums Chart.

"Weak" was released as the fourth and final single from Paranoid & Sunburnt. It is one of Skunk Anansie's well known releases, and often a favourite at festivals. Skin performs a slower, more ballad-like version at many of her solo gigs. The song has also been covered by Rod Stewart on his 1998 album When We Were the New Boys.

"Weak" received a total of 61% yes votes!
