For those awaiting an answer on one of my more recent posts, and whether I'll be leaving, here it is. .....Under the cut, as it, in my usual fashion, gets lengthy, you can skip to the end for a TL:DR :)

I'm not going to leave tumblr/simblr, I'll be floating around and still liking people's posts, I'm probably gonna unfollow some people (not my mutuals ofc ilya) just because it's hard to keep up with my dash when I get over 10 notifications every 2 minutes or so especially when if I'm not going to primarily consume Sims 4 content. I'm going to put my mods folder into my external HDD, in order to preserve them ykwim, and I'm going to uninstall TS4, I'll try to make one more sim before the sims 4 gets poofed off my laptop, although as it stands even after freeing up 20 GBs of space, my space went back down to 400 MBs so 😭😭 I will probably be posting variety content, even though I know all my followers are primarily Sims content consumers (some of ya'll do other stuff, but I mean as a whole, my audience tends to be more Sims 4 related), I might play and share some of my Sims 1 content, which is not story oriented, it's just a little gameplay of Roo in the Sims 1 :) I'll also probably post Baldur gate stuff (if I can free up the storage for it LMAO), I'll post witcher content maybe, and plenty of other things, and like I said, I'll continue to float around, and I'll continue to reblog any Sims content I see and enjoy... as well as other things. .... So what about W.A.S? Yea. I dont know, while W.A.S IS supposed to be a fleshed out story, and while I know I AM leaving sims 4 behind, completely limiting what I can and cannot make story-wise (just cuz I don't know how to make scenes and stuff lmao), I will ATTEMPT to make W.A.S content, I will still make and post the Official teaser, and I'll probably introduce the characters myself sometime after the teaser (I'll take screenshots in CAS and just hope my storage doesn't dip TOO low). I may release some of the story in just text form, as I do really want to continue to post about the story. I'll try to come up with something tho, don't worry :)

I may also start getting back into art, I still need some hobby to preoccupy my time that isn't gaming, I will still do blender stuff (since I have a bunch of my Sims' DAEs) and I will maybe make more edits, but regardless, I still enjoy art and Sims 4 kinda consumed the time that I wanted to spend doing art, soooo yeah.

For the unrooleased tag, I have a bunch of sims that I've never posted, as well as renders that I've never posted, and I may, as Sims 4 filler, post those to fill the void that will become my Sims 4 content

and FINALLY. LAST THING I promise :) I know all of ya'll LOVE Roo, and I do want to reinforce the fact that ROO IS NOT A SIMS CHARACTER, I did NOT make him originally from the Sims, if you were at any point worried I would stop posting about him, I will not be, I will continue to share about Roo, probably with a lot less pictures considering I really only used TS4 as a visual assistant for his story, I do have his DAEs, so I can make SOME Roo blender content, albeit limited with Scenes and stuff. Roo is a character that I will continue to be passionate about, I never mentioned this but I LOVE to make Roo in pretty much every game I play (besides Skyrim................ and ofc games where u dont have customization), like Animal Crossing, I made a variant of Roo there, and in Stardew! You get the point, he will always be a prominent figure of my content. I may also bring back some characters I made from TS4, like Nirvana, I LOVE her character and would LOVE to continue to post about her, as well as Roo's family, I love posting about his family members and sharing their own story and what importance they are to Roo.

WOW, okay that was a lot, if you're skipping here for a clear answer, or a sort of TL:DR, here ya go, I don't want to leave tumblr, so I won't, and I won't necessarily leave the Simblr ring, TS4 is going to be uninstalled, but I WILL preserve my TS4 mods in my external HDD, and be on the look out for the last sim I make in TS4 :)

hey babies! i am home from my trip! this weekend was awesomely wild - ran a 5k (my first one!!!), ate some delicious snacks, rode some amazing rides, and made some cool memories! not sure when i will get to go back when i normally visit dland two or three times a year, so this was a great way to round out my fav vacation and start 2024 off right.

starting with my next adventure in life - i am going back to school starting this week, taking four hugely important classes so i can apply to a rad tech program this summer. basically, if you thought i was slow before (which I am), i am about to get even slower and most likely be dropping things that sit for too long. i am also going to suspend discord writing/rping for the time being, as i already have little to no motivation to get logged onto there when my tumblr drafts get as high as they do.

i am going to be making a point of prioritizing the tumblr replies that (in no particular order) 1) come from people i have befriended and spoken to/plotted with ooc, 2) have been longstanding and either are about to be wrapped up or have a feasible end point, 3) have just been started for me or were plotted/started while i was away (whether things are kept up once the vibe is felt up will be figured out as i go), and 4) i am personally excited about replying to.

“Pansexual is just another word for bisexual except now you’re being biphobic (and transphobic and homophobic) about it.” is what the post said - and here’s why i agree!

i have seen pansexual defined in millions of different ways since it first appeared. at first, pansexuality was created with the aim to substitute the bisexuality, because young LGBT kids mistakenly thought the the “bi-“ prefix (which in greek means two) meant that bisexuals were attracted to only 2 genders, so they took the prefix away and put pan- in its place, which also comes from greek but means “all” instead of “two”. just by doing this, they clearly created the pansexual label in opposition to bisexuality, advertising the neologism as being more inclusive, and i remember the definition at the time being like “attraction to men, women, trans men, trans women and non binary people” (i think you can still find this definition online somewhere lol!)

bisexuals at the time started to vocalise their discomfort with this new label, as it erased bisexual history and the true meaning of bisexuality, and they highlighted the biphobic origin of the name of the label. trans people were also very uncomfortable with it, why would you need a special label to be attracted to trans men and trans women? trans men are men and trans women are women, not some elusive extra gender. some nb people also pointed out a similar issue, u dont need a special label to be attracted to nb people… even other sexualities (like lesbian, gay, straight etc.) can be attracted and be in a relationship with nb people without it affecting their sexuality/gender identity.

at this point, instead of reading the bisexual manifesto or acknowledging the concerns of actual bisexuals/trans ppl/nb people, pansexuals came up with a new definition, the (honestly TERRIBLE) “hearts not parts”, which was called out for (again) being biphobic because like: are u saying bisexuals only care about “parts”? this defintion was not only biphobic, but also homophobic too; same gender attraction has always been seen as nasty and impure and being only about sex, and to make bisexuality (historically associated with gay people, it is the LGBT community after all) all about sex is a bit (a lot) 😬 yikes

so then the definition changed again; now it’s bi = attraction to more than one gender and pan = attraction regardless of gender and like. im sorry but that’s literally the same thing, just worded differently

so my (and many others’) question is: what’s the point of having two names for the same thing? the post i reblogged was about the dangers of microlabeling, and it being a reflection of individualism and a symptom of late-staged capitalism, and pansexuality is a stark example of that. the word bisexual is enough! as a word, it has history, depth and carries a sense of community; on the other hand, pansexuality was first born out of a misunderstanding of bisexuality and has biphobic, transphobic, and homophobic roots in its (very short) history; the definition differs only in meaningless semantics, and it does not carry any of the history nor sense of community. so like! what’s the point? is it really so important to have both? is it necessary? does it benefit anyone, apart from corporations who can now also sell pan flags and movie studios who now can call it "representation" just bc they claimed in a tweet that a character is “pan” because they want to fuck an alien but otherwise show no signs of same gender attraction? idk stuff i think about a lot i guess!!

are u ok with all the girls/half naked models ur boyfriend follows? i don’t mean any disrespect by this- it’s something that i’ve struggled with in my past 2 relationships. my ex refused to unfollow those kinds of girls even though i was clearly upset about it. my current bf doesn’t follow any girls, but i’ve seen that he used to like their photos before we started dating and a month after we started dating. he stopped and i told him that it’s not ok with me, but sometimes i still think about it or wonder if he likes them and i just don’t see it. it honestly triggers me so bad and i get so insecure and mad. i’m just curious if it genuinely doesn’t bother you at all, or how you don’t take it too seriously or allow it to cause problems? 🤍

no disrespect taken! i am okay with the girls he follows because we established pretty early on in our relationship that finding other ppl attractive is normal. if i find someone else hot that doesn’t mean i want that specific person and that im going to cheat on my bf to be with that person. other people can be hot and yet their attractiveness doesn’t take away from what i feel towards my bf and how attractive i perceive him. and i know he feels the same because we’ve discussed this.

appreciating beauty is normal and in my opinion human nature and in the end a very superficial thing. i know that at the end of the day, our relationship is built on much more than our looks and that’s how i know it won’t break because of looks.

but i also want to say that every relationship is different and what works for one relationship won’t for another. every relationship must create their own boundaries and if this is something that u find is a deal breaker don’t shame urself for it!

however if u feel that this is something u want to change about urself than i encourage u to maybe put my theory to the test to prove that finding someone attractive doesn’t mean everything. for example i am obsessed with this male kpop idol named hyunjin from the group stray kids and i find him so cool and so hot. but i would never cheat on my bf with this guy just bc i simply find him cool and hot (also the likelihood of me even meeting him is slim to none). but just bc i find him hot doesn’t mean i think of my bf as less hot. so try to find a celeb, model, singer or actor that u find hot and notice how u feel regarding ur bf and how it doesn’t change ur love.

also maybe u should try talking to ur bf about all this in an open and honest manner just to understand each other better. communicating is so important, so tell him ur insecurities and worries he may help put them to rest. i hope this helps <3 if u have more questions pls feel free asking me :)
