Well. Enough of that. I'm normal now (lying)
#.txt#i need to reread lonely castle and asfit SO BADLY#and yami-hara#god tsujimura mizuki is such a phenomenal writer#also i forgot that one of the characters in asfit is ALSO named tsujimura mizuki#and she's like. the one creating the whole situation they're in#the implications that could have for bsd tsujimura (who's named after her mother and has her ability) are CRAZY#because so far in bsd all the characters we've seen who were named after other characters and not authors are sort of unimportant#and lack abilities#but TSUJIMURA#she DOES have an ability but it's not her own#and her whole life has been dictated by her mother#also i've read 3 tsujimura mizuki works so far and all of them have themes of teenage depression to varying extents#and i just. i don't know#considering how invested bsd tsujimura is in action movies NOW...it would not be surprising for to have been bullied growing up#her mother 'died' when she was 19 and she joined the special division not long after#she's been on the ayatsuji job for 2 years so i'm assuming she had to have spent at least 2 years in training and stuff#and like. at 19 she should be in college#it would be difficult to juggle college coursework and being in a secret government agency#also correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure she was scouted for the special division#what (besides her existing ire) could cause someone to drop out of college to join some secret agency? an unfriendly environment maybe?#i don't know i'm basically clutching at straws here#i used to have more detailed thoughts about this very topic but i either failed to write them down or they're buried in old discord message#gaidenposting

Hey I hope your blog is still active but if it is, can you review my SNK OC?
Identity
Name: Wilhelmina Goldstein Romaji: ウィルヘルミーナゴールドスタインU~iruherumīnagōrudosutain
(rowan) the "romaji" category is kinda unnecessary considering the snk-verse uses their own made up language. so no need to worry about figuring that out for your characters!
Voice Claim: Yōko Hikasa Nickname: Will, Mina, Red, Redhead
DOB: 21 September 835 Birthplace: Gender: Female (she/her)
(rowan) the "birthplace" was left empty, and idk if this was intentional but i'm assuming she was born in the stohess district. please correct me if i'm wrong though
Orientation: Bi/Abromantic Greysexual Possible Love Interest: Sasha Blouse Age: 12 (cadet age) 15 (pre-timeskip) 19 ( post-timeskip) Nationality: German-Scottish (mom being Scottish and dad being German)/Eldian
Hair: Sleek, bright ginger (inherited from her mother, while her other siblings inherited their father's light brown hair)
Pre-timeskip: past-shoulder with side-swept bangs, always tied into a braid
Post timeskip: shoulder-length with longer bangs, tied into a ponytail/short like S4 Mikasa (haven't decide)
Eyes: Sharp, Piercing blue Height: 170 cm/ 5'5 ft (pre-timeskip) 183/6'6 ft (post-timeskip) Skin : Fair with freckles around the nose
(rowan) so women usually stop growing either a few years after menstruation starts or around the ages 14 and 15. so it isn't likely for mina to have grown over a foot during the timeskip. she'd still be the same height at 5'5".
Likes: drawing, eating, pie, horses, meat
Background
Living a lavious life in Stohess District, Wilhelmina practically lived in her own little world, never really knowing what happens outside wall Sheena, nor even bother to care, the only thing she cares about is her own happy life and following what her parents wants without question. Her parents also taught her to underestimate and hate the Scouts Regiment, resulting in her having an indoctrinated resentment towards them
She has 3 siblings: an older sister and brother who are twins, the both of them are in the MPs, and a younger brother. Her older siblings are her parent's favorite, making Wilhelmina envy them a little, but still get along nevertheless. She is the closest with her younger brother
Due to her older siblings being MPs, she was also pressured to follow their footsteps, despite having little to no reason or need to join the MPs, she agrees because joining means making her family proud, and her family has high hopes for her too
To make sure that she achieves the top 10, Wilhelmina was trained early by her older siblings at how to fight hand-to-hand combat, making her somewhat cocky and feel like she can reach the top 10 or even the top 1 quickly
Wilhelmina struggled to adjust because the training corps was very contrasting to her previous life in Stohess, making her a little bit distant towards others in the beginning, but adapted pretty quick and is attached to some friends she made eventually, she grows immaculately both as a person and her skills as a soldier, making her realize how ignorant she really is all these years, she would be lying if she says that her views towards the scouts are still the same, and is too stubborn to admit her growth, and still would shrug off her changing views, that was until she graduated
She managed to reach the top 10 and was about to sign to become an MP, however everything started to change after the battle of Trost, after she lost a handful of people she cared about, ever since then she decided to open her eyes and stop being ignorant, and because of this she made the extreme decision to join the Survey corps, being aware that she can die anytime
(rowan) so an unfortunate snag in your backstory, is that since mina grew up in the stohess distrcit, she probably won't be in the same training corps as the canon characters. the canon characters are apart of the southern division, and being from stohess, she is more likely to be in the northern or eastern division.
being in a different division, i don't know if she will be in the trost district during the "battle of trost" but at the same time it's possible that all the divisions arrived there for the upcoming "graduation" ceremony of sorts. it's never explicitly said, but i don't remember hitch or marlo being present.
also, you mention she lost a handful of people she cared about but in her relationships section a lot of the people listed are still alive, so i'm wondering who these handful of people are.
Personality
Positive Traits:
Clever/tactical
Witty
Resourceful
Observant
Adaptable
Caring
Empathetic
Negative Traits:
Competitive
Cocky
Stubborn
Jealous
People Pleaser
Careless
Temperamental
Cynical
Relationships:
Best Friends:
Marco: first best friend ever, a caring big brother figure she can rely on.
Jean: deeply cares about each other, but would roast each other and get on each other's nerves for fun, shares a same hobby which is drawing.
Sasha: bunk mates, likes to joke around each other or share food, and would slack off together, loves meat.
Connie: has the same sense of humor, their convos are 95% jokes and puns.
Eren: didn't like him at first and think that he is annoying, but eventually becomes close when learning 3DMG together.
Mikasa: is very, very jealous at how naturally skilled she is, making Will resent her a bit at first, but starts getting along after a while.
Armin: brings out her interest towards the world outside the walls.
Crush: Sasha: she was fascinated by her enthusiasm and energy at first, and after they interact with each other like joking around, sharing her food, seeing her draw or train and hang out, she slowly started to develop a huge crush on her, always having butterflies on her stomach and gets nervous, and last but not least, they were bunk mates. (Connie, Jean, and Marco were the first to know)
(rowan) going back to my previous point, mina wouldn't have met all of the canon characters during her time at the training corps, due to her being a part of a different division since she lives in stohess. to make it more likely, i'd change her location to the ehrmich district. if you still want her to have that "lavious and close-minded" upbringing anyways.
i also noticed that nearly half of the canon characters are her best friends, which is fine i guess, but a little unbelievable as well. i would add another a few more categories. going by what i read, i would use "best friends" for marco, jean, and sasha. "friends" for connie, eren, mikasa, and eren. and "acquaintances" for bertholdt, reiner, annie, krista/historia, and ymir
Parent Figures: Erwin, Levi, Hange, and Mike (in this version of events Mike lived longer)
(rowan) just because they're adults doesn't mean she has to view them as her parents😅 i feel like to see someone as your parental figure they need to be super nurturing and caring to you, which none of these characters are. levi did kind of show a few signs of it during the second time skip, and i could even see mike acting like that if he developed a close enough relationship with the cadets. hange and erwin though... it's harder for me to picture.
not to mention that for people to see others as parental figures, they typically don't have a good relationship with her parents but it seemed like she did in her backstory.
Statistics
3DMG: 8/10 (Will is quick to understand how the 3DMG works, but is a bit struggling to learn at it in practice at first)
Agility: 9/10 (quick to dodge an attack at combat)
Combat: 8/10 (her skill in combat are pretty much lifted by her agility and resourcefulness)
Initiative: 9/10 (happens after her character development in Trost)
Intelligence: 10/10 (not as smart as Armin or Erwin, but is clever and resourceful, and has a very big potential to become a skillful strategist)
Stamina: 8.5/10
Strength: 7.5/10
Teamwork: 7.5/10 (could have been better if not for her overconfidence)
Willpower: 7/10
(rowan) the stats are all reasonable considering she needed to train hard in order to reach her goal and make the top ten. i would make a few adjustments however:
her 3DMG should be a bit lower since you say she struggled a bit at first. i would make it a 7 at the most. if these are her stats for after she graduates the training corps (i'm assuming they are), you can always change them after the timeskips to reflect her growth.
due to her previous training with her siblings, i'd raise her combat skill to a 9. or if you want to play it safe, make it an 8.5.
for initiative, i don't see how the events of trost would have any impact on this stat unless under specific circumstances. it has to do with your character's leadership and decision-making skills. giving that her family practically decided her life for her, i would make it a 5.
intelligence is a bit too high if you're going to add in that she isn't as smart as erwin or armin. both characters have a 10/10 in their wits category. you also say that she is resourceful, but i find it a bit hard to believe considering her cushioned and close-minded upbringing. i'd give her an 8, or 8.5 at most. this can change as she gets more experience and grows of course, as if the same with all the other stats.
for teamwork i would just make it a solid 7 to compensate for her cocky flaw and the fact she isn't as close to everyone right away.
Hope you can give me a review of this, it would be very helpful to receive constructive criticism from you!
(rowan) thank you for submitting your oc to us! and for also being patient as we take our time checking in on the blog. the inbox was empty for the longest time i honestly just stopped checking it lol
i hope my critiques were helpful, and i enjoyed learning about mina! let me know if you have any questions :)

Chapter 39
Tumblr media
The Road So Far
Is this still worth it?
The SEVEN Inch Wound
Gary 'Roach' Sanderson
Task Force 141 Base - Gym
Roach finally got his seal of approval. After weeks of physical therapy and daily check ups, he was now finally fit for battle and he was lucky enough that Nero was still under the radar. He wouldn't want to miss out on the battle he started. He was lucky enough that they were exonerated when Shepherd surrendered, because if they continued to be fugitives, Roach would not have access to appropriate medical attention.
It has been almost a month after the events in Afghanistan and Task Force 141 was already re-established, Samantha and Maxine were housed on a nearby compound where veteran's families lived under the safety of government protection. During his time in the infirmary, Maxine was always there to visit, telling him tales about dreams she recovered as time went by. Roach was glad she was returning to normal and that no matter how her memories came back, her treatment towards him was the same.
"Good to see you back on your feet, my man." Rocket went up to him and did their fist bump, a series of elaborate claps then finished off with finger guns accompanied by their almost realistic attempt at pistol fires.
"Haha. Yeah? I'm glad I'm back." He waved as Rocket pointed at his back. Roach turned to see Maxine, carrying a packed lunch, waiting at the end of the hallway.
"Hey you. Just in time for lunch as always." He smiled, wrapping an arm around her as they made their way to the mess hall.
"Glad to see you smiling and walking about." She says, as her palms ran across his firm chest, tracing the scar that changed his life.
"Yeah, finally passed the damn physical test." He grinned as they sat down at their usual table, the only table which consisted of two tables stuck together to form an eight seater.
The rest of Roach's closest comrades were already there. Alex, guessing what Samantha packed for him. Soap and France arguing which meal choice was best for them and Ghost, who was already halfway through his lunch while the rest of his comrades haven't even started yet.
"Good to have you back, buddy." Ghost greeted with a wide grin on his face, well technically only half of his face was shown.
"Hey man. I sure am glad. How have you been doing?" he joked. They constantly visit him in their free time, so there was actually nothing to catch up on.
"The rest of the squad proceeded to badger Roach with questions about everything they wanted to know. Roach enjoyed the hot seat as the military mess hall felt like the university cafeteria.
"So, any news about Nero?" He finally asked as soon as everyone was done with him. The table felt awfully quiet.
"None." France was the first to speak up. Everyone else nodded and frowned.
"Shit. Guess our only choice is to wait." He added.
"Shepherd didn't have any leads towards Nero. Their last contact was the exchange of blueprints and after that, he was gone." Soap explained the situation.
"The missing persons?" Gary asked.
"Still missing." Alex commented.
"And there are still a few additions every other day as indicated by the FBI and DHS." Ghost added.
"Is interpol still involved?" Roach turned to Ghost.
"They're still after the traces of EMP equipment from the missing persons. Their new lead is that Nero's team is trying out a lethal kind of grenade. One that explodes without damaging property. If he's planning invasion, this is actually a good idea without ruining too much of the invaded country." He replied. Roach nodded at the theory. EMPs only damage mechanical equipment and this was a good call for the bad side.
"I never knew they'd think of this kind of weaponry. I always expected bioweapons being the last of modern warfare." Ghost muttered.
"Well, that was what happened in Verdansk and we stopped it. We could do that again." Alex tried to boost morale.
"Yeah. We'll do whatever it takes." Roach agreed and they continued lunch.
Tumblr media
By the time he started training, Roach focused back on his Sniper techniques. His wound may have affected his previous breathing training and it was only inevitable that he'd train it again. He wanted to master the long ranged rifle as it was vital towards his development as a soldier.
"Back on the scope huh." Ghost huffed as they reached their 200 yard mark, by the hill just outside the base.
"Glad you could help me on this one." Roach unzipped the sniper bag and began scouting the area.
"You sure this is your spot?" Ghost asked, using his hand as a visor against the hot afternoon sun.
"Yeah. This fits."
"Suit yourself." He chuckled as Roach snapped every attachment of the rifle, from the bipod stand to the clicker adjustments.
He peeked at the scope and looked at his target. Five small cans standing on top of a log 200 yards away.
"Remember what I told you." Ghost mused as he looked at Roach steadying his breathing.
"Damn." He added as he noticed the change in wind.
"Yeah, damn. I just was about to fire it." Roach muttered as he took another deep breath and began to hold still as his crosshairs adjusted to the shift.
A loud fire echoed across the hills as dust scattered on the ground where Roach fired. He was about a few inches off.
"Great. Do that again but change your adjustments." Ghost said as consolation.
"Yeah got it." He rolled his dial once again and accounted for the wind, easing his breath and fired again. The loud sound once again echoed through the hills, followed by a soft metal can flying away from the log.
"There you go! A clean hit." Ghost congratulated as he tapped Roach's back while he reloaded his sniper and aimed again.
Roach stayed at that spot until it was too dark to continue and Ghost accompanied him until such time. On their way back, Ghost opened up to something that has been bothering him ever since.
"Roach. Do you mind if I say something important?" He asked and it made Roach stop on his tracks.
"Yeah. What's up." Roach asked.
"I've already sent my formal letter, but I just wanted you to have a heads up on the matter." Formal letter. Roach's heart started to pound as his mind automatically thought of him quitting or leaving.
"Letter about?" he asked. His mouth almost felt dry. He didn't want him to leave. Not again.
"Transferring department. Alexandra offered me a spot on the Interpol. I told you this first because I knew that if you were on my shoes, you'd go too, right? Do whatever makes you happy?" he said, quoting Roach's famous words.
He isn't wrong about doing what makes him happy, but his decision didn't feel right either, or maybe because he just doesn't want Ghost to go.
"Well, you bet I'd go for that option too!" Roach said, trying to validate his decision despite not wanting it. It was sad to see him go, but for the first time in ages, Ghost actually acknowledged the term happy.
"I knew you'd understand." he smiled and continued their trail back to the base where Roach remained quiet until they reached the base just in time for dinner.
After dinner, Roach opted for a night jog around the base to clear his mind off of Ghost leaving. After the second lap, he soon noticed Alex catching up to him.
"Wonderful weather for an evening run, huh?" He asked all cheery as he's quite used to his heavier and more realistic leg.
"Yeah. It is. Good to see you're liking Samantha's surprise." Gary nodded and removed his earphones.
"You know, it's really a surprise when I'm the only one who doesn't know about it." He commented.
"It feels like a real leg, actually. The wonders of modern technology never ceases to amaze me." He mused as they both took the turn.
"Yeah? That's good to hear. Pretty sure Samantha loved the way you thanked her." Roach teased as Alex chuckled, like he recalled some memory.
"Oh yeah, she did." Alex nodded suggestively, the kind that Roach didn't want to ask anymore.
"This your last lap?" Roach asked as Alex slowed down for his cooldown, turning to the set of exercise bars.
"Yep. See ya!" He waved as he started his cooldown.
Gary took three more laps just to make sure he's exhausted for the night, so that once he got in his bed, no more thoughts would assault his mind, hindering him from sleep.
There was only one way out of it. And it was accepting Ghost's inevitable departure from the 141.
Tumblr media
The next morning, the 141 was briefed on a possible lead on Nero. This time, Ghost wasn't in the room and that meant that his letter was now approved.
"Okay lads. We've received word on a supply drop activity from Nero. We intercepted an unencrypted call signal to an abandoned port just off the coast of Sierra Leone, Africa. If intel is correct, we're going to be dealing with someone who goes by 'Volt', Nero's bomb maker." Price paced in front of the huge screen showing details regarding their mission.
"Volt is a high value individual who must not be killed. He's our only hope towards Nero. The intercepted call came from the USA, and it's quite impossible that Nero is here, so he must've used a secure line. Jack will be staying in the base as our new Operations Command as suggested by Laswell. Overlord will continue his role as our commanding officer as well." Price added making clear about the jurisdiction.
"Damp and dry Africa." Soap muttered.
"Have you been there?" France asked.
"Only in Egypt. My mom used to tag me along her trips." he replied.
"Recon suggests a high chance of militia activity, so our standard rules of engagement; treat anyone as hostile. Volt's compound will be surrounded by his own personal army and they're willing to shoot any unwanted visitors. He also has access to a port, so I'm sending the Charlie team to stand by the shore and make sure they're not planning an escape." he added.
"I'm leading the Alpha team and our task is to infiltrate his base and secure Volt for intel. Bravo team, led by Alex, will act as our support when things go south. As bonus, we need to destroy any trace of bomb making equipment.
Roach, I want you to man our new air support tools from above as soon as we confirm that there are no SAMs on his base." He shot his glare on Roach and he nodded. Guess he isn't on the ground tomorrow.
"We leave tomorrow at 0300. Make your necessary preparations especially on our brand new comms equipment. Ones that are immune to EMP blasts. Dismissed." He said as everyone got up and went on their way. Gary purposefully left himself behind so he could ask Price about the Ghost situation.
"Hey there lad. You feeling good?" Price approached as soon as he noticed Roach.
"I just have a question about the mission."
"Sure. What about it? Any suggestions?"
"No no. The plan is fine. Where will Ghost be?" Price gave him a worried stare.
"Ah. Didn't he tell you about his transfer?" He crossed his arms and stared at Roach.
"He did… but why did you allow it?"
"Well, it certainly looked like he was happy to go there. And I had no power over his commendations." Price reasoned as they walked out of the briefing room.
"Oh. I thought he was going to have one last mission with us." Roach smiled as he walked back to the room. Ghost wasn't a fan of goodbyes. Maybe because he knew they'll meet again.
0300H
Sierra Leone, Africa
"This is Hunter One-One requesting sitrep, over." Roach phoned his allies who were already on the ground for support. This mission was their vital lead towards Nero. He wished that the guy Volt was here so that they could finally finish the war before everyone else gets hurt.
Before he could man the air support, he needed to confirm that there were no SAMs present on their base so he could safely provide suppressing fire from above.

Hello, I want to get your opinion on this or if someone else has an opinion on this get ready because I have a lot in my head rn. I decided to share it with you because you are really sweet. 1/14
So about Levi and erwins relationship. I don’t think it was anything more than a friendship. One because hange, mike and the rest of the scouts follow Erwin and would do anything in their power to protect him. 2/14
Erwin was in love with Marie but he chose his dream over love. I don’t think he would do that for anyone else but I do think he was still in love with her even though he chose his dream. 3/14
have a strong bond but Levi wasn’t the only one he told. He also told nile as well. Even though they have different opinions and stuff they did seem close to me.4/14
Levi doesn’t treat anyone differently. He is close to hange as well. He got really mad when hange was injured and was relieved when he found them alive. 5/14
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I agree with most things you said, I'll go through some of your points :3
As you all have probably seen from my posts I agree that Erwin and Levi were friends, I believe that they had a special bond, but I don't think their bond is necessarily better that the one they had with other people. But that's subjective, it depends from person to person.
A small thing about Nile: I love side characters a lot, I wish he had more moments especially with Erwin, they were pretty close in their cadet years, I would have love to see more of their relationship :(
Is it Hanji the only person Levi touches? I honestly never really thought about it, he did hold the hand of that dying soldier and stuff like that though 🤔and Hanji touched some other people as well I'm sure. But on the other hand Levi didn't do anything like the hair-grab scene with anyone else, so maybe that's the kind of "touching" you ment, in that case yes I see your point. Anyway the way Hanji held him in chapter 115 still melts my heart (it's the closest thing to a hug he has ever received 😭)
You're bringing up a good point by saying that Levi was never saved by anyone else. It got me thinking if that's true but I can't think about any other person that saved him, correct me if I'm wrong though. And yes she saved him not because he was humanity strongest, but just because it was Levi, her friend and I think that's really beautiful. Hanji surely cares deeply about him❤
Ok I have mixed feelings about the tears because I'm not sure:
Tumblr media
Both of them have this white like at the bottom of their eyes, in Hanji's case is more evident but if we look closely it's there for Levi too. Now it could be only a reflection, but like in Hanji's case they really look like tears and Isayama doesn't really use white lines in the eyes like that anywhere else in the chapter for neither of them:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So like maybe it was actually ment to indicate that at least their eyes were kinda watery, in that case like 💔 chapter 126 it's so emotional I can't.
I hope Levi gives up on killing Zeke as well, because it really seems like Zeke wants to stop Eren, so he could be really useful.
One last thing if Isayama will somehow bring back that "maybe we should just live here together" my shipper heart is gonna explode.

"This Is Your Proof That I'm Not!"
Double Episode Catch-Up
Monday 8th March - Tuesday 9th March 2021
Hello everyone! Hope your week is going well so far, once again this is going to be a double episode post. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be completely caught up to date, I realise there is a lot to get through so I'll jump straight into it.
So the first thing I want to briefly mention is the gorgeous Janet! The young girl is helping her Dad on his stall, I love how energetic and happy she is about helping her Dad. Billy teaching her how to approach their customers was so adorable. No matter what you think of Billy, the one thing he has always been is a supportive Dad of his kids, always making sure he's there for them. As Honey praises her daughter for assisting her Dad, she questions whether Billy would be free to catch up in the week, of course we all know that she's dating Jay now, but poor Billy once again is happy to spend time with his ex-wife, in the hopes of her wanting to rekindle their romance as much as he does. As they begin to make plans for their meet up, a random stranger named "Amelia" approaches Honey from behind, mentioning that she's from a talent scout and claiming that she's found someone who she's really interested in, of course with Honey's past of being model she believes Amelia is asking about her, but interestingly she corrects Honey and points to young Janet, to her parents surprise. Now of course Billy and Honey have always been protective of Janet, but do I remember rightly when I say that Honey took Will to America or somewhere to pursue modelling? Surely it would be really nice for Janet to have her opportunity in the spotlight if she so wishes.
At first Honey isn't too sure whether to let her daughter be exposed to that type of business and work, but during their meeting, Billy reassures her that their daughter is at a decent age now where she can make her own decisions and regardless of her disability, she deserves the best opportunities in life as other kids. With her children's Father being so supportive of their daughter, Honey agrees and allows Janet to go for this opportunity of a life time! But, unfortunately, as soon as Billy recalls about them having a meeting, Honey informs him that she's hoping he would sit down with Jay just for an hour to resolve their differences. Billy is once again crushed and informs his ex-wife that he simply can't just move on from recent events, he treated Jay as his own son, as far as he's concerned, he's betrayed him in the worse possible way that he can't see in ever forgiving. I'm seriously hoping we get to see this storyline play out for Janet, it would be beautiful to see her become a success, but then again, could it be also be a scam where people judge her because of her disability? That would be absolutely heart-breaking and devastating to see, but either way I'm intrigued to see where this story goes for Janet, it's lovely to see her in the spotlight!

Okay so they second thing I'm going to mention is Ash and Peter. As much as I'm loving Kim right now and her new business prospects, I don't know what it is, but I really don't like Peter and Ash together. I don't know whether it's just me or other people feel the same way, I just don't like it, I can't really explain why. I don't like Peter, I think the way he's treated his brother since his return has been disgusting, especially considering the scene where he was basically slagging him off to Ash, poor Bobby heard every word. All Bobby has ever wanted was to make his big brother proud and to be able to build a bond with him. Hearing him state that he's "Strange" and possibly has "Ex girlfriends buried in the garden!" is so cruel! So you can fully understand Bobby's hurt as Ash realises as he's heard every word. Okay, just because I don't like Peter, doesn't mean I don't like Ash. I actually liked the way Ash sat Bobby down and reassured him that one day he will get a girlfriend who will love him for who he his. I also don't like the way Peter thinks he's God's gift to women, he needs to a good slap round the head I reckon and be put in his place! Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way?!
After the success of getting Lola and Isaac together, it looks as if Kim has eyes on Peter and Ash as her next clients. As Peter and Ash return home from a day out at a waterpark, Peter is visibly soaked through, with enormous amount of flirtation going on, Peter decides once again to strip, completely unaware the Suki is still in the house. To be honest, Suki catching him stripping made me laugh out loud! "HA!" Obviously he was left feeling completely embarrassed and awkward, serves him right to think he can win any woman he wants! He quickly makes a sharp exit! Later on, Kim finds Ash at the Prince Albert and they begin to discuss the possibility of them becoming a couple, Ash confides in Kim that she can't understand why Peter fled in such a hurry, other than being caught by her Mum. Kim seems to suggest that perhaps Peter is just shy, but we all know that isn't true. However, in the meantime, Peter finds his way back to the Panesar's place of work to confront Suki. He seems pretty desperate to get together with Ash, but most of you will remember that Peter and Suki did have a one night stand not too long ago, his visit is to simply ask her if she'll keep quiet about their encounter. To be honest, is it crazy to say that I'm liking Suki more than Peter right now? She informs her one night stand that the thing that is most important to her is her children's happiness, so why would she stand in the way of that? (Erm, can I just mention Jags?! Thank you!) She confirms to Peter that she will keep quiet.
Returning to the club, Kim and Ash are still discussing the possibility of Ash and Peter becoming a proper couple, suddenly Peter appears after his confrontation with Suki and apologises to Ash for running out so quickly. He proposes going out for another date, which she softly responds by planting a kiss on Peter, not being aware that Iqra is watching everything unfold from across the room. As Kim is excited to see another match she's brought together, she notices Iqra and her upset and decides to console her. I guess you could say it's fair to say that Ash has moved on pretty quickly, but for Iqra - not so much. Kim takes it upon herself to once again try and match Iqra with someone else to cheer her up, but Iqra simply states that she's not interested in another relationship right now, but a face we haven't seen for a while - Mila, arrives for her shift at the bar and once again, there is small spark building between the two girls. What do you think, would you like to see Iqra get together with Mila? I personally think they'd make a lovely couple, and I'm really hoping Iqra will take that jump and move on from Ash to build a relationship with Mila.

Okay, so I have a very important question: What is going on with Chelsea?! Does anyone else understand what's going on with her? I get that she's got herself in so deep with this Caleb and she's fretting about going to the police or her life being jeopardy, but the way she's acting is just completely out of character, they've not just changed the image of Chelsea, but her personality too. I guess it's fair to say that character has been through a lot since she left the Square. After trying to blackmail Jack and coax him into sleeping with her, Jack does the decent thing and tells Denise everything. Understandably, Denise is incredibly hurt by her daughter's advances towards her partner, but Chelsea shows no shame, trying to explain to her Mum that she wouldn't have slept with him and was only trying to blackmail him to make sure Jack would keep quite and not tell the police about their situation.
But when Lucas hears about his daughter's behaviour from Denise, he tries to confront Chelsea, trying to get to the bottom of why she's acting out of the ordinary. As Lucas tries to understand his daughter and try and help her to keep positive, she does get a little emotional, claiming she's completely ashamed of her actions and was only trying to sort out the problem her parents had caused, BUT the second Lucas leaves her to be on her own, she dries her tears away and continues the drink her drink as if she doesn't care about what she's tried to do. It looks as if as far as she's concerned, she's looking out for number one, not any members of her family who could be caught in the firing line. Later on, on the Square, Lucas then witnesses Chelsea chasing after Jack, demanding to know whether he's going to go to the police or not after what he's learned, but when Jack warns her to stay away she turns in the most horrendous way, claiming that if she went through with wanting to sleep with him, he wouldn't have been able to say "No" to her! As Lucas witnesses everything, he's disgusted with his daughter. Chelsea really doesn't care anymore, all she's really bothered about is getting this job sorted as soon as possible, without any interference from her family or the police. I mean, if she was scared for her life then maybe, yes, I could understand her lashing out, but something tells me there is more going on. Has spending her time with Caleb taken it's toll on her?
Also, I know it was only a very small part of the episode, but I have to mention the first meeting between Lucas and Karen! I absolutely love Karen's first glimpse of Lucas, clearly she's besotted with him! But of course, she has no idea about his history on the Square, for all she knows, he's a brand new neighbour. I love how she was forward about seeing him again after doing his dry cleaning for him free of charge. Only the first red flag to fly was Lucas introducing himself with the wrong name, naming himself after his deceased son, "Jordan"! As much as I love Karen, she needs to be super careful, but of course - how is she going to be when she knows nothing of his past? None of her family do either to be fair, let's hope someone will be able to give her an insight into who she's dating before it's too late! But if Lucas is a changed man as he says he is, why would he give her a false name? Maybe to hide his true identity because he'd feel ashamed if she was to find out the truth? Who knows?

Right, so the last thing I have to mention is Stacey, Ruby and Martin. Ruby continues to grieve for her lost baby, of course it's the most devastating and heart-breaking thing any parent has to go through, every day where she doesn't have a child is going to be a struggle, but she informs her husband that she simply just wants to move on. Martin happens to mention that he has to pick up his daughter Hope from nursery, but interestingly Ruby offers to pick up his daughter. Now I have to mention how such a sweet little girl Hope is, she is so adorable, but it's quite sad to see how Ruby is such a natural with her, it's quite sad that she's missed the opportunity of doing the same things with her own child. Am I hearing things right or did little Hope accidentally call Ruby, "Mummy"?! If so, then that must've caught her completely off guard, of course little Hope hasn't realised the extent of her calling Ruby, Mummy, she's just a small innocent kid who has no idea what Ruby has gone through.
The moment which really moved me though, was when Martin showed his wife the memorial he had created for their lost child. Informing to meet him at the Arches, Ruby goes feeling a little bit anxious and/or suspicious on why her husband wanted her to meet him there. But then he shows her a beautiful memorial set out with stones, flowers, beautiful plants for them to visit to remember their lost baby. Showing her that she can write little messages on the stones, he writes his own message, claiming that their child would've been a football fan and support a specific football team. Ruby is completely touched by Martin's beautiful gesture and hard work, she voices that she felt she had a strong feeling that their child was a girl and writes down on a stone the name she had in mind for their baby daughter, "Lulu!" - which, to be fair, is a gorgeous name! I really felt this scene really touched me and reflected perfectly on how parents cope after losing a baby.
However, as the day carries on and the couple return home, Ruby notices Stacey with her children on the Square and it seems as if something has bean eating her up inside for so long, she can no longer stand and watch while Stacey is on the Square with her children. Asking whether Martin would do anything to support her in her time of grief, he reassures her that he would. But then they take a visit to Stacey, even though she's thankful to Ruby for picking up her daughter, Martin informs her that she'll probably have to get the children away pretty early in the morning, revealing the blow that she'll be getting a visit from the police. Of course Stacey is completely stunned to hear that it was actually Martin who had called the police on her, as she actually hadn't done anything wrong.
As she takes in the news, the next day as expected the police come knocking for her, as she's wanted for questioning about an assault. But of course we all know she never actually touched Ruby during their row, Ruby did in fact slip, the fall was completely an accident. While at the station, Stacey informs the police about everything that happened on that day, yes the did argue but Stacey never touched her, as she tried to walk away from the confrontation, Ruby followed her up the stairs, tripping on the stairs as she did. The only thing that could back up Stacey's story is if the police manage to get their hands on the CCTV. Eventually let her go, but on her way back to the Square, Stacey once again bumps into Ruby and Martin claiming the police are going to be searching the club for CCTV of the staircase of the club which should prove her innocence. However, Ruby seems to think that there is no CCTV as it's been dodgy for months, but then Martin happens to mention that he got it fixed without her knowledge and it's been working fine the past few weeks, this sends Ruby into a blind panic, she knows full well that Stacey didn't touch her and knows that if the police were to find the CCTV, she'd be proved as a liar!
Returning home, she pleads for Martin to go and fetch her a hot chocolate with all the works from the Cafe, and trying to be the caring and doting husband, Martin does as she requests. Only once he's left the house, she quickly rushes to the club to search for the CCTV footage. Clear as day one camera shows that Stacey did not touch her and the fall was completely an accident on Ruby's part, she had simply tripped as she hurried up the stairs. However, as the police knock on the office door, Ruby quickly deletes the footage!!!! Ooooo she really is wanting revenge on Stacey isn't she? For what though? For stealing her money all that time ago? Or is she simply just jealous? Ruby eventually allows the police to come in and check the CCTV, to their shock they find another clip from the staircase, from a completely different angle than the clip that Ruby deleted. Unfortunately, from the angle of this specific clip, it looks as if Stacey had swiped her arm, causing Ruby to lose her balance and fall backwards down the stairs, which is incredibly unfair to Stacey as we all know she's completely innocent! As the police show Ruby this footage, Ruby is left feeling completely smug!!
Ooooo things really aren't going to be looking good for Stacey, I have heard a rumour that Stacey could potentially lose custody of her children and they'll end up being in Martin and Ruby's care. Is that something that Ruby has been wanting? If so, she would have succeeded in taking everything from Stacey, her husband and then her children! Lacey Turner is due to go on maternity leave, so I believe that Stacey going to prison for assault could be the start of Lacey's temporary departure. What do you guys think? Will Ruby's lies eventually catch up with her?! Or will she end up getting away with it?! Either way I'm really looking forward to seeing this story unravel! Thank you all for taking your time to read this post, I realise it's quite long but I really appreciate all of your support! It means the world! Thank you again everyone! Love you all xXx

milk-eyed mender review (extra subheaders)
Tumblr media
i think it would be absolutely great to have these songs exist in a playlist (for the most part they are strong vibe-producers and have nice beginning and ending moments) but good luck putting them anywhere
Tumblr media
i promise that she is a better harp player than I would ever expect to be, even in 2004, and her voice is perfectly inimitable, again in the sense that i would never be able to imitate it. like usually i can imitate women's voices and sound somewhat convincing to my own biased ears, but i can't do that with joanna. otherwise i would describe the songwriting as mostly functional – it's really enjoyable to listen to in a pop sort of way, but if you're hoping for jazz chords and key changes i don't think you'll really find many bones to chew on.
Tumblr media
yea baby!
Tumblr media
you are out walking in the spring or the fall, either listening to the album with headphones or via pushing joanna newsom and her harp in a wheelbarrow while she is performing the music. you can use the sidewalk, though you should ambitiously move onto the grass once you see somebody else walking in the opposite direction. joanna newsom is not capable of contracting the disease, but there is no reason that you should be unmasked. vinyl is probably also fine, i have not yet been able to try it.
Tumblr media
you shouldn't worry too much about having a particularly correct and comprehensive understanding of what is being said in these songs. don't bother with things like genius lyrics either – i imagine it's possible that some of the lyric transcriptions are explicitly wrong since i'm unaware of an official publication of the lyrics (for instance, they write "sending the first scouts over" for the first line of anecdotes off of the 2015 album, whereas it is -obviously- "sending the first cats over") ("/ back from the place beyond the darn"), and the annotations are often misguided (joanna newsom voice). i think much of what she has to say is pretty apparent, and in any case i have found it fun to try to paint the picture of her words in my head as i listen to the songs more and more. this all being said, you should take my interpretations of the songs as truth because i am very good at understanding lyrics
Tumblr media
it is fun to hear joanna newsom sing words. for this album in particular, she took her human essence and ground it into dust which is mixed in so deeply to the music that you will keep coughing and sneezing violently while you listen to it
Tumblr media
this is the album of mrs. newsom's with the compositional style that is best suited for me. the later albums supposedly have the arrangement and language that demonstrate her divine ancestry and whatnot – i think those albums are great. the milk-eyed mender reads to me as a profoundly earthly document – not by virtue of perfectly describing the world, but rather by working hard in an attempt to place its characteristics. you should think of this album as folk-appropriating pop music – she makes statements like "you take no jam on your bread", but i'm sure that when she gets fast food she's not going to tell them to schmear the top bun of her burger or whatever. her stylistic choices seem to me to be an attempt at making fundamental statements that are also unmarred by a weighty colloquial understanding of terms – ideas like "shall we go outside, shall we break some bread" and "bury this bone to gnaw on it later" offer a simple visceral interpretation, which form the building blocks of the narratives. i imagine that to be the purpose served by a lot of Folksy language on the album – inflammatory writ is worded like an angry anonymous essay posted on the doors of a small town church in the 19th century, and it uses analogies of bugs and bread and candles because that's all she can count on the other citizens to be familiar with. but surely and inescapably the song is written by a modern musician trying to warn a modern audience against artistic stagnation (or whatever). at that, i think the album also forms a beautiful little monument to instinctual songwriting. necessarily, she spent time crafting a voice that is somewhat artificial (in live performances you can see her mouth contorting to produce it) and a lot of the word choices could not ever come from someone's default mindset unless they spent a lot of time reviewing encyclopedias and whatnot to prepare for it. and yet a lot of qualities of the music point to a composition process emerging from the gut and the heart. i would single out peach plum pear for its sincerity and balladry – lines like "and the gathering floozies /afford to be choosy" are probably born from a desire to rhyme the word "floozy", but the desire cleanly coexists with the most poetic and faithful wordsmithing effort. i think the song is an unmatched gorgeousness of language, where a desire to evocatively tell a story is seasoned gently with efforts to form a distinctive singing voice and impressive vocabulary. i would say the album succeeds (and professes) to contain the real concepts aimed at by its words. even failing that, the pure vibe-journey is enough to make for an entertaining listen.

You're the first person to accept Woodscouts X Reader and I'm crying. Okay, my idea is Pikeman is radioing the others for part of their plan, however someone else comes over the radio. She got the wrong frequency and they start talking, they get along and it goes on for days. Then he asks to meet her. They meet on Spooky island and turns out the reader is a Flower Scout, it's a little awkward for them to talk in person so she picks up a rock and pretends it's a radio to help them talk again. ❤️
I LOVE IT!!!! Also sorry for taking so long… ;v;
~~~~~
Pikeman paced a lap around the table in his planning room; he was waiting for a confirmation response from Petrol about if their popcorn delivery had arrived at the front gates. He only stopped pacing when a static crackled from his walkie.
“Hello…?”
Pikeman nearly jumped out of his skin; that was DEFINITELY not Petrol OR Snake… A girl. How did a girl get on this channel? Pulling himself together, Pikeman plucked the walkie from the table and clicked the button on the side. “You are on a secured channel. Speak your name, rank, and how you got this channel number….!” Pikeman insisted, though his voice creeked slightly, having not been prepared to talk to a girl; speaking with Gwen was one thing because A) she was usually right in front of him and B) he expected rejection from her.
“O-Oh um… My mama told me never to tell strangers my name… Can we use code names…? That’s what you’ve been doing right…? With the other two you mentioned before…?”
Pikeman hummed a bit as he considered this suggestion; it was a reasonable excuse. Most parents didn’t like their children talking to strangers. His parents allowed him to be a bit more independant due to PROVING his responsibility with his position in the Wood Scouts, but even he knew never to give his full name unless introducing himself in person.
“Well I’m sure you already know my… Code name… So what code name do you wish to be addressed by?” Pikeman asked, managing a small smile as he waited for the girl’s response.
“Hmm… How about… Tiger Lily…?” the voice suggested, sounding a bit nervous. Pikeman tried to imagine what this ‘Tiger Lily’ looked like in his head. She sounded young, no older than him, maybe a few years younger. Tiger Lily, maybe a redhead like him…? No, lighter. More of a copper colour. Like the flower she chose to hide her name with. Freckles, of course… He was pulled from his thoughts when Tiger Lily called his name. “Mr. Pikeman…?”
Pikeman cleared his throat before speaking again. “My apologies, Miss Tiger Lily… I must ask again though how did you get this channel number…? Not that I am not enjoying our chat, but as I stated, this is a secured channel…” Pikeman asked, his voice a little less harsh than last time, but with his nerves calmed after receiving a name he could call her, his speech was even and didn’t have it’s previous creeking.
“But… You came onto THIS line…? I’ve only heard your voice the last hour or so…” Tiger Lily insisted, sounding confused.
Pikeman’s eyes widened as he looked down at his walkie channel; she was right. He must have clicked it to a different channel when he slammed it down before. “I’ll call you back.” He quickly insisted before readjusting his channel and clicking the call button. “PETROL, SNAKE, WHERE’S THAT POPCORN DELIVERY?!”
After hours of back and forth arguing and sorting and storing, Pikeman dismissed a pissed off Snake and a… Well a still ever neutral Petrol. Once they were gone from his sight, he let his head hang and let out an exhausted sigh; how could he have let such a small mix up cause so much chaos…? He’d have to be more careful next time with his radio.
The radio.
Pikeman glanced over at the radio that was sitting on the table across from him; Tiger Lily… Would she have waited all that time for him to come back? He’d been gone for so long. ‘She’s probably gone.’ He thought, trying to convince himself not to bother trying, but something gnawed at the back of his thoughts, telling him, BEGGING him to just… Check. Walking over to the table, Pikeman picked up the radio and fiddled a bit with the channel, setting it back to what he’d accidentally had it at before.
With a deep breath, he pressed the call button and spoke. “Tiger Lily, do you copy? Over.” He waited, counting the literal seconds in his head as he waited for a reply from his mysterious radio mate. He’d reached 57 in his head and was about to give up when suddenly there was a crackle from the speaker.
“Hello? Pikeman?”
Pikeman let out the breath he’d been holding and managed a small smile as he pressed the call button again. “My deepest apologies, Tiger Lily. I did not intend on taking nearly as long as we did. Apparently my right hand men aren’t nearly as competent as I thought…” Pikeman grumbled, walking over to his chair to sit. “But with my guidance, everything is sorted and ready for delivery.”
“Goodness Pikeman, you shouldn’t talk about your friends like that… You’re all a team, right? Everyone makes mistakes sometimes.”
Pikeman frowned a little, knowing she was right. “You are correct, my dear… Perhaps I expected too much from them… I’ve been… Irked lately due to our newest recruit from another camp… He means well and tries, but there is no bigger regret I have on this planet than not taking that lanky optimistic counselor Da-”
“He just needs positive reinforcement…! Make sure he knows he’s doing a good job, but lightly suggest another strategy for the things he’s not doing so well on…?” Tiger Lily suggested, cutting Pikeman off. “I know some people who are like that here too, but once you show them a different way and let them try, you definitely see a difference…”
Pikeman smiled again; Tiger Lily seemed like such a kind soul with plenty of intelligence to back it up. “I might try that… Thank you, Tiger Lily…” Pikeman leaned over the table a bit as he watched the radio like it was a screen. “You must be tired of listening to me complain… Shall we change the subject? Like… What sort of hobbies interest you…?”
“Oh gosh I absolutely love baking…! Though I think my favourite thing to do is when we have friendly competitions with the other camp troops… So many very talented people…!”
“I couldn’t agree more, my dear!” Pikeman exclaimed, grinning a bit again.
The conversation took off from there, dipping at times when Tiger Lily would disapprove of some of Pikeman’s methods before rising again when Pikeman realized what she meant and would continue the conversation. This went on for so long that Pikeman didn’t even realize he’d missed dinner.
“Oh goodness, is that really the time…?! I’m so sorry I kept you so long, Pikeman…!” Tiger Lily insisted, sounding rather guilty and ashamed.
Pikeman shook his head, even though she couldn’t see him. “It’s quite alright dear, the conversation was far too engaging for me to simply stop for a meer meal.” he insisted, standing from his chair to stretch his back and legs. “Our mess hall is usually open later on for officers, so I will still be able to get something, so long as the other officers haven’t eaten everything already.”
“I should probably go too… We’re supposed to make our own dinners here and tonight is pizza night.” Tiger Lily explained, a shuffling sound following her as, from what Pikeman assumed, she stood up. “Could we… Do this again tomorrow…?”
Pikeman had to keep himself from shouting yes at his radio; he couldn’t seem TOO eager… “Perhaps… Is your camp close to Lake Lilac? Tomorrow evening we could meet in person instead…? It would make this much easier to talk in person than over the radio, correct? We could meet on the island that Cameron Campbell’s old summer home is located on…?”
“You mean Spooky Island…?”
“Spooky what now?” Pikeman asked, raising an eyebrow.
After agreeing to meet, Pikeman and Tiger Lily bid their farewells and promised to meet the following night. The day felt like it passed far too slowly for Pikeman’s liking; he just wanted it to be after hours already so he could take the boat out… He was very quick to eat and finish dinner before he began pacing up and down the rows, making sure everyone focused on eating instead of talking because ‘talking could be done AFTER eating and clean down!’.
Once everything and everyone was clean and presentable, Pikeman dismissed them, waiting until every member of his troop was gone before heading off to the docks to borrow the boat; he was sure he was going to be late and hoped that Tiger Lily wasn’t waiting for him… Thankfully, it seemed he was the first to arrive, so he spent the time waiting for her just pacing and thinking; what if she saw his face and immediately didn’t want to speak to him again…? What if she was just nice over the radio but was actually rude in person…?
What if this was a trick by that damned Maxwell…?
Shaking these thoughts from his head, Pikeman stopped pacing upon hearing a boat slide up against the shore; she was here… Pikeman quickly flattened out his uniform and straightened his collar before standing at attention, his arms pressed against his back as he waited for her to appear.
The bushes rustled before a young girl appeared from behind them.
A girl… In a flower scouts uniform… She was very pretty with a cute pair of glasses on her nose, but… He was definitely not expecting her to be a member of one of his rival camps.
“A-Are you… P-Pikeman…?” She asked, taking a few steps toward him.
Pikeman nodded, his professionalism thrown out the window as he wasn’t quite sure how he should introduce himself now that he was seeing her in person. But from what he could see, she wasn’t sure either as her eyes were searching the sandy beach. He watched as she hesitated before hurrying over to the shore line and carefully lifting a flat rock out of the sand, washing it off in the water before bringing it up in front of her face. He watched as she tapped her thumb against the side of the rock.
“H-Hi… It’s Tiger L-Lily…” She stated, her eyes down as she said this before she looked back up at him and lift her thumb off the rock again. Pikeman looked confused at first until he watched her press her thumb down again. “C-Come in, Pikeman… Over…”
It clicked in his head what she was doing and he scrambled to find a rock like she did; he didn’t want to accidentally use his actual radio as it was set to the frequency for the other radios back at camp… Once he found a rock about the size of his radio, he too washed it off and held it like he would his own radio. “I read you, Tiger Lily! I… I must say, you are just as… As beautiful as your voice implied…” He insisted before lifting his thumb to give her a chance to speak.
Tiger Lily blushed, but giggled, pressing her thumb down again. “T-Thank you… You’re quite handsome yourself…” She said into the rock, but looked up from it to look to Pikeman, who was becoming red himself. Pikeman looked from Tiger Lily to the rock and back to Tiger Lily before taking the stone and tossing it into the lake. He then turned to Tiger Lilly, who looked rather shocked and started walking toward her, stopping just in front of her before offering her his hand. “W-would you like to go for a walk…?” He asked with a smile.
Tiger Lily’s eyes darted from the stone to Pikeman’s eyes a few times before she dropped the rock on the ground in exchange of taking his hand, a small smile playing at her lips as she nodded. “I-I’d like that…” She said softly, squeezing his hand before following him along the shore line for their romantic walk in the moonlight.
Galimulator#9: The Warden
THIS IS FAN MADE, PLEASE CREDIT SNODDAS FOR MAKING THE GAME.
Galactic Calendar:1950th Millennium
With Humanity and Elydis scraping by with only a few planets, colonisation efforts were put in place, Elydis had enlisted 'Clean up crews' to contain, question and kill all Neutral personal.
Humanity had begun to rebuild her fleets, and had enlisted the 'Elite' to seek out any remnants of Thea tech.
 Both species was undergoing a massive reformation, the emperors we overturned and new ones the elected.
 Somewhere in the Elydis' Home system, a massive ship was spotted, several times bigger than any ship spotted in the Galaxy, similar to the Galactic council chambers, Elydis and Humanity sent a simple recovery team to correct it's course to it's original position, thinking it was the Galactic Councils Chambers, but after a failure of communication, the Elites we sent in.
 The Elites comprised of Humanity, and some Elydis, personnel, the majority had fought in the recent Neutral war, some were war heroes, but all the same, all were looked up to, and consisted of 5 teams.
 The first was solely Humans, the second Elydis, the third was a set of technicians, the fourth was a set of scouts, and the last was a set of each species best soldiers, all worked together to do what their parent species would take millennia to do.
 After teams three and four were sent, the fifth was sent, there was no need for team one, or two as they we used for other slightly different purposes.
 Team 5 had entered, of which there were six, three Humans and three Elydis.
 The three Humans were named
Unity: (Female), A tech savy person.
Blitz: (Male)electrical personnel.
Nova: (Female) explosives personnel.
 The two Elydis were named, as translated:
Commander: A tactical Operative.
Soldier: The soldier.
Adapt: The spy who focused on movement.
 The plan was:
1:Fly in with an escort to the Home system of Elydis
2:Investigate the ship, determine anything possible
3:Do anything required to save the ship, or destroy if it's too hostile
 The Team was sent using a class C2 stealth fighter, one of the few salvaged from the War, but was perfect against any technology that was not Neutral, but had little weaponry, two simple turrets one back and front, and an FTL drive pushing them forward multiple star systems at rapid speeds.
 After announcing they would fly at a much slower speed due to cloaking systems, it did mean that the Fifth team would have their first conversation however awkward.
 After a few weird shuffles, Nova and Adapt had started a small conversation, with Adapt asking how Nova got her name.
''Got it from a love of supernovae, it convinced me to make the biggest explosion physically possible, even scuttled out a dreadnought in the 1500th Millennium and witnessed the first wave attack first hand, so I went to scrapyards ravaged by supernovae to help the war, anything was useful back then, how'd you get yours?''
 ''Because I can adapt to anything. A door not opening, I think quick enough to open it, a ship never seen before, I could fly it, a gun just made, i'll train myself, even escaped the Eaters explosions a few times in frigates helping survivors, quite good at it so I joined the evac squads, what about him, Blitz?''
 Blitz look up, not expecting to talk, he gave just a small explanation:
 ''Not much to know, I hacked a few ships to kamikaze into a dead planet to secure a system a long way away to evac that's the only reason I'm here''
 Nova looked at the Commander, who was talking to Soldier and Unity about weapons, and asked about Soldier
Adapt looked and waited before saying:
''Soldier is quiet, he's seen some thing no one wanted to, all his life he has been under fear of Neutral, born and survived under their influence, he lead a few small groups through to the Galaxy, losing close friends everywhere, he has kept that gun since the start of the War, it's the only thing he has, and the only thing he trusts, just leave him be
Not that you asked but commander is the opposite, he was the tactical officer on many worlds throughout the Galaxy, organising supplies, sneaking in enemy territory to gain information, he's itching for action, but knows that he has to wait for it''
 ''Damn, you Elydis had it hard didn't you?
''Yeah we tried to out best to...''
 A deep voice could be heard, it was not in a 'listen now' manner, but it was sincere enough to make the squad look at its source
 ''Listen up, we just met, but I'm the Commander but that does not mean I am a leader, frankly I'm bad at it, load your weapons, Adapt, go and fly us in, we're 20 minutes away, and I want you to fly, the Computer isn't reliable yet, everyone this is our mission, fly in, look around, and do what we have to do determine what this is, any questions?''
 Unity raised her hand, in a very excited manner
''who does the ship belong to, any signatures?''
 ''It looks like a Thea ship, but they went extinct 50 Millennia ago, but we're here to answer that question, now let's go''
 The cargo bay opened to a large corridor, full with nothing, but a bright light a very long distance away, Holograms of the Galaxy filled the walls, detailing all catastrophic events it's encountered, it was purple in colour.
 As everyone left the cargo to start their mission, the anomaly they was in lit up, in a blinding flash, but this was also purple in colour, from this a holographic image of Thea appeared, it looked more like an educational hologram, it began speaking, although no sound appeared. Upon everyone discussing its usefulness, Soldier had indicated a path, a different corridor, and from it lead a path to multiple consoles of which had multiple functions.
Weapons, shields and engines were already on, but nothing else was, even though they could breath, this tech really was far greater than previously seen.
 Commander mover forward and interfaced with the consols, and with that came a great thundering noise, a deep sound that had made everyone jump, Commander turned around and laughed at the crew.
''The horn perhaps? Anyway, anyone got ideas, it fits the Thea profile so far, structure, holograms, everything here is Thea history, weapons it's all Thea, but it fits the Galactic Council Chambers in every regard, it's like a direct copy, anything else needed to know?''
 Unity began scanning and documenting everything, it was her ambition to advance the Galaxy to win the Neutral War, or to Transcend, though still a touchy subject in the Galaxy, she didn't care, Thea Transcended, there was nothing else to it.
Her first step was to merge the races of the Galaxy with a synthetic body, allowing for the ultimate weapon, using weapons and neurological tech to make a foot hold, and Thea holds the key to this. Supposedly.
 ''Over here, looks like a video recording'' she shouted to the others, who came closer to look, it was a simple screen with three sliders, to which Blitz immediately began decoding it, and after taking a few minutes, Soldier, who isn't really a patient person to begin with, just slid all three slides to the right, and a holographic message appeared, and Unity immediately began to record.
On the Recording was everything Thea had, it's history, biology, weapons and ways to kill the Neutral armies and much more, that was a wrap, but the last part of the mission was yet to come, divert it to a safe location.
 Blitz, annoyed by how Soldier had done what been done, had announced he managed to map out some of the ship, and a trajectory map was up ahead, if divert was not possible, preparation was and that counts for something.
 ''Alright, so where is it'' The commander asked after a few seconds of silence, pretty annoyed at the silence.
''Few AU's that way, I'm sure we can use the ship to fly there and fly out, but it's pretty cramped here''
Adapt piped up ''It's me, let's get to the ship, I can fly us there''
 After walking, rather slowly, back to the ship, the flight was several hours long, or around a few hundred times that Soldier attempted to check his gun for a discrepancy, and further multiple times that he had to be assured nothing was wrong, not that he cared, he was happy doing something.
 After landing the ship, Adapt attempted to turn around, for a quick exit, only to make the ship stuck in a tight squeeze.
 With the ship damaged, it meant someone had to stay and repair, while the others had to go an manage the super ship they're stuck in.
 Commander was, as a tacticians officer chose
Unity, Himself and Adapt to stay, allowing, Soldier, Blitz and Nova to go ahead.
 Soldier lead the way down the long corridor to what they assumed was a control point of the ship, engines or the Bridge, after 30 seconds of almost sleepwalking in a straight line the lights intensity began to dwindle, until it became a small laser.
As they got closer, a large wall came into view, with no visible way in, Soldier just stood there, tweaking his helmet and weapon, Nova, who was incredibly outraged at this demanded an order.
 Soldier looked at her, with a mixed expression, even though it was impossible to see it, it could be felt, and said.
''Do your Job, Blow it up''
The shortness of it exited Nova, but the way he said it was similar to Commanders, but was WAY more intimidating, or demanding, it was so deep and quiet it was unclear.
Nether the less, Nova began to place charges on the soon to be made door and ordered the squad to stand back, to which a quiet ''Finally'' Could be heard.
 The explosion happened and with it a jolt amongst everyone, Nova looked pleased that her makeshift bomb COULD hurt Thea tech, and ran in to inspect the inside, to be disappointed by a simple Class AA Fusion core.
 Blitz followed, along with Soldier who just found a place to himself and resumed his modifications, Nova began to pretend she knew what she was doing, and Blitz immediately resumed power to the ship, and began a Transmission, he looked for a record button, before checking in with Commander:
 ''Doing good here Blitz, Unity used scrap parts to make a sort of propeller, we can use it to get us out, what have you done so far?''
 Blitz looked around, and replied
''Found a power relay, a Class AA Fusion core, really good stuff, but most importantly I found a transmitter we could contact the nearest ship, the UGF Enlightenment, should we?''
 A seal of approval was given, after a small silence, he piped up
''What do we say, the Enlightenment isn't going to stay where it is for long, it is the most powerful ship right now, it can destroy this place''
 Nova stood up
''No way, you've seen this place, it holds EVERYTHING about Thea, we need this for Neutral, it can help us, and you're will to blow it up?''
 ''They LEFT us for DEAD, abandoned us, don't you want to see a good explosion, that's why you signed up isn't it?''
 ''No I joined to save lives, you activated the ships weapons, it will destroy the Enlightenment''
 Soldier simply waited and looked at his allied Humans bicker, from why they signed up, to Thea's Transcendance and more, he wasn't a talker, but he's solved more puzzles with a weapon than his words, if ever used.
 Soldier aimed his weapon, and fired a massive laser mixed explosive beam, stopping the bickering Humans, who instantly looked at the Elydis, in shock and awe, at how he will do his objective.
He moved towards the console and simply said the situation they was in, and deployed a beacon for future exploration, he didn't care about the two people behind him arguing, he trusted the Enlightenment to help with the decision.
And with that, he simply walked out, leaving his squad mates to decide their course of action, and soon they were back with Commander and co, with a thinner ship, Unity outdone herself in creating a streamline ship, that could access FTL speeds in rapid timing.
 Soldier gave a receiver/transmitter to Commander, who turned it on to see who was on the other end.
The Enlightenment was a mighty ship, the flagship of Humanity, it stood for the United Galactic Fleet, the ones who fought valiantly against Neutral, and saved trillions of lives.
 A transmission was received, the captain and lead science officer appeared in a hologram, they all agreed by vote, this ship was to be disabled and then moved for further study, the Enlightenment would wait for them, but they must leave the ship themselves.
 Unity, eager to see her work in action, hopped in the co-pilot seat, Adept in the pilot seat, and began the flight protocols.
 After a little bumpy exit, they left the ship, and met the Enlightenment.
It was a glorious ship, accompanied by multiple battle ships, destroyers, and frigates.
The docking on board was a success, and the team immediately went to the Fleet Admiral and captain of the ship.
Upon reaching the bridge, full of onlookers, the captain spoke to them, while looking out to the vastness of space.
''we matched Thea, now I guess we are Thea now, hmm?'' he said quietly, to himself.
Everyone was taken aback by this, but eventually soldier piped up
''Then let's have this ship as our first steps''
 The Admiral turned around and said in the usual tone a commanding officer speaks to his men.
 ''What you found is a Galactic Timeline, that spreads to the Galactic Year 0, the year the Galactic Council, some things are yet to be deciphered, but we'll be sure to send this to who it needs to go to, for now, you're to be sent to Earth, the Galactic chamber is buzzing up, and a task force will be sent to fix it, meanwhile, you're going to be happy to know that the Colonization efforts of Humanity are going incredibly well, whereas Elydis, not so well, but with Humanity's help, they're getting there, questions?''
The team was quiet, and was assigned some quarters to just rewind.
 Blitz began a conversation
''what else do you think is there?''
The rest gave their personal opinion, except Soldier, who ignored him to focus on his modifications, but sadly his weapon was not there, it had to be confiscated, due to on board regulations, but was promised it to be returned in good condition, but eventually killed the conversation
''Nothing's there, if there was, we would've found it, question is, what is going on at the Chambers, but my personal one, what is Earth like?
Nova looked at him
''Guess we'll find out when we get there''
