This year, I reached out to some of my family and friends who are sort of in the middle when it comes to their deen, and asked them about their Ramadan goals. They never thought about it (I kind of had an idea that they wouldn't) and my question forced them to think about it. And it made a positive impact on them because by the end of our conversations, they had made some productive goals. Some of them said "oh the usual, more Salah and Quran" which is amazing but to that I said, "and what else?" And listed some of my goals that have to do with character, working on bad habits, where I'm lacking in my deen, etc. just to make them think/reflect a little more. I would encourage everyone to bring up this topic with those around them.

Another thing I, by Allah's guidance, did during these conversations is bring up a weakness of theirs and put it on myself so that they think about it themselves too. For example, I have a relative who has been dressing more and more immodestly as time passes, so while we were talking about our Ramadan goals, I threw in there how I want to dress even more modestly than I do now. She was a bit stunned (the fact that I already dress modest alhumdulilah and said this) and went into deep thoughts, realizing that it's something that she should work on too. Another positive punch! She responded by saying "your goals are too ahead of me," (aka, too hard for me) to which I said back "you just have to make the intention and Allah will help. It's possible you are doing good in your goals and then you fall back, but you just got to keep trying and you'll get there in sha Allah."Guess what? She agreed.

Guys, do this with your loved ones, make them think (of course, we should reflect on our own selves first!) This is the time to advise and help each other grow stronger during Ramadan, in sha Allah.
