Long answer is they are from a western murder mystery video game I’m working on for college called Detective Bronco. It’s about a cowboy-detective investigating a murder in a small western town. He also ‘fights’ ghosts.

Biana and glass

Biana stared at her warped reflection in the wineglass that her parents had gifted her when she moved into her own place.

It was impossible to avoid looking at herself, sometimes. Impossible to avoid all the places she was broken.

Her mirror was gravity and she was the opposite end of a magnet, desperately pulled down even as she repelled herself from her reflection. Seeing her scars was a reminder.

She was a reminder.

Looking at herself in an empty wineglass (freshly washed and sparkling) was easier. She looked stretched on the side of the glass, unnatural features that stretched out her scars until she couldn't even see them anymore.

It was easier this way.
