Aesthetically and realistically I think that Mortimer/Sigmar is the better ship (twinky horny snarky who's good at talking and bad at combat X gruff buff bad at talking and good at combat). And also there's the whole 'Mortimer gave Sigmar socks made out of true love + was the party member he trusted the most to be able to communicate feelings with'. The playful teasing dynamic between the two of them is really nice, and Mortimer's insincerity contrasted against Sigmar's stoic personality would be fun to watch.

However deep in my heart of hearts I will always ship Grinderbin/Mortimer because of all the story things that have happened that have accidentally given these two some insane fucking chemistry. Oh, you're telling me that Mortimer essentially pretends to be a noble but Grinderbin actually is one? Okay. Grinderbin delegating all his royal and legal affairs to Mortimer, essentially making him his trusted confidant if he needs to assume more responsibility in the future? Okay. They accidentally melded minds in the underground cave??? The gentle confrontation about in in 308??? "I know what you are and you don't have to hide it from me." Ugh. Mortimer and Grinderbin canonically spending extra time alone together so Grinderbin can learn thieves' cant??? Don't even remind me that Sigmar thinks that Mortimer and Grinderbin are fucking. It gets even better when you realize Mortimer is gradually warping Grinderbin into someone who is comfortable with lying and you wonder just how much that poor mushroom is gonna get fucked over by his dependence on this horrible guy.

not to be insane or anything but it really pisses me off when people say whit killed arei 💀 it is objectively never that serious but everytime i see someone come up with a theory or whatever it just shows such a fundamental misunderstanding of his character and not that I'm a veteran or anything but i just wanted to right some wrongs.

whit is not a killer. he exists in a sphere of kindness and prosperity and nothing else. people only think he's suspicious because we've been dispositioned to think every 'nice' character in danganronpa is secretly evil. whit does not have a facade, he's truly and 100% a good person.

looking back at some of his character defining moments it's so striking that he was one of the only people to give his kindness to the two people who were at the time not very nice people themselves. its striking that he doesn't reveal charles' secret in the first trial until he feels as though charles is comfortable enough for everyone to know and how he does the same thing with david in the second trial because it simply isn't his secret to tell.

he extends kindness to those who probably don't deserve it and actively is willing to put aside his own personal grievances in order to comfort someone when they’re in need. like, it's insane to me that you can look at all of that say "yep 💀 that guys definitely the killer!" HES A GOOD PERSON like literally what more do i have to say.

The next Adventure is Nigh episode won't be out until March 2nd ;_; but it's okay! There was a looooot in the latest episode.

Sigmar is not making it out with any of his arms intact, I see. Poor guy cannot catch a break - but also I think that you probably shouldn't be getting magic tattoos from a random guy you meet in a prison????? maybe??? So yeah idk this feels like a fitting punishment. The flesh bow is super duper cool but how much of a long term effect will this have on Sigmar? We'll have to see if Sebastian Piss is gonna return, and if so, how. Love how the party didn't try to sneak their weapons in and their punishment for that was getting a cursed weapon tattoo lmao.

Mortimer is officially and totally a shapeshifter, woop-di-doo. We still don't know what makes him able to do that, or what he 'truly' looks like. But yup, he can change shape at any time. He's trusted Grinderbin completely with this knowledge now, AND he gave up his easy chance to kill the queen in order to wipe out Cheserick (spelling???) instead. Given the way things are going down, that was probably a good call, because Cheserick's death has probably stopped the robot army thing from happening.

Grinderbin continues to git gud at lying. We'll see if Mortimer lies to Grinderbin about the poison, or trusts Grinderbin with his secrets after the whole shitshow is over. There was a scrapped side quest plot that was planned for Mortimer and Sigmar to do together, like Dabarella and Grinderbin did theirs together, but at this point it feels like we're gonna need a Mortibin SQ too, just to get their shit figured out.

Dabarella is a fucking combat monster, dealt 20 radiant damage to Kalandra without even trying. I don't know what Kalandra is capable of but she and Sigmar are in a lot of danger rn just trying to hold her off.

Eggelier and Beyonce are both basically impotent at the moment. However, we still don't know if Pikeworth was lying to the party when he said that Beyonce was going to do something dangerous. It was Cheserick that ended up being the major shit-heel, but did Pikeworth know this? Bonesy and Bread are both here! But Bread is about to go to the gate where the party is fighting Kalandra, which is, uh, not a good place for him to be.

Filming for season 4 starts in March! Remasters of the old episodes start in Spring and will continue through the Summer, which means we'll probably have S4 starting next Winter, assuming no plans change. There's a documentary about the creation of the show itself in the works. They usually do some kind of Q&A stream, so maybe we'll get that after filming for S4 wraps up?
